Srikanth Addala has developed a great bond with superstar Mahesh Babu during the two movies he has worked with him.
Mahesh Babu made him to join the league of top directors as the Superstar gave him a chance to direct the multi-starrer "Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu". Now he has given him "Brahmotsavam".
Mahesh Babu termed the director as a different guy who is not yet corrupted by the industry folks and thoughts. On the other hand, the director says Mahesh Babu has achieved highest order of maturity. He also said there is no star like him.
Though the director refuses to talk about his next movie, his team members confirm that the director has got another chance to direct Mahesh Babu.
"This third film won't happen immediately but it is definitely on the cards. Mahesh Babu himself asked him to prepare a new script. But before he takes up this movie with Mahesh Babu, he will direct a film with another big hero," the team says.
On record, the director says if Mahesh asks him to direct another film, he would do it immediately.
The super success of "Kabali" teaser has made the movie red hot in Tamil and Telugu film industries and several top producers competed for the rights of the movie for the Telugu market. But finally Abhishek Pictures, the new rising production and distribution company in Tollywood, has been able to convince the Tamil producer Kalaipuli Thanu to give them the rights.
Thanu immediately agreed to part with the rights as they offered a record price for a dubbed movie. But the deal has not been made official yet. In fact, it has still not been signed.
According to industry sources, Abhishek Pictures came to know that several complaints and cases about the losses of Rajinikanth's last film "Linga" are pending at Film Chamber of Commerce.
Abhishek Pictures reportedly wants Thanu and Rajinikanth to settle the matter before they pay them the price for "Kabali". Hence the deal is still pending.
"Kabali" is directed by Pa Ranjith and the trailer has become India's highest viewed teaser with more than two crore views surpassing the records set by Bollywood biggie "Sultan". "Kabali" is expected to release in Tamil and Telugu on 1st July.

Superstar Mahesh Babu will soon join hands with Tamil director AR Murugadoss for a Telugu-Tamil bilingual movie. There have been lots of rumors about this movie. "It's a dream come true for to me to work with Murugadoss sir. None of the rumors about the film are true. It's a commercial film but it's too early to talk about it," clarifies Mahesh.

Producer Prasad Vara Potluri is anticipating hat trick hits for his production banner PVP Cinemas with Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer Brahmotsavam which is seeing lights on this Friday (May 20th). His last two movies Kshanam and Oopiri were commercial hits.
Srikanth Addala directed Brahmotsavam is very special movie for PVP, since it's not just highest budgeted movie in his banner and has susperstar Mahesh in lead role, he could get to work with prominent actors and technicians for around four months.
"We have worked for about 116 days for Brahmotsavam. You will see screen full of artists. Everybody- the artists and technicians were popular personalities. It was difficult task for adjusting everyone's call sheets and making this movie. But, shooting has progressed like a celebration every day. I got a feeling like overseeing 116 marriages," said PVP.
Apart from Brahmotsavam, PVP is also producing a Telugu-Hindi bilingual submarine based war movie Ghazi starring Rana Daggubati and Taapsee Pannu. We wish PVP all the very best for Brahmotsavam, Ghazi and other future ventures. Hope, he will make meaningful movies in coming days too. -

Superstar Mahesh Babu's last movie Srimanthudu was a runaway hit. Buzz is positive on his upcoming film Brahmotsavam. So, distributors are keen on investing big amounts to acquire the movie rights. As per trade reports, Brahmotsavam pre-release business has crossed Rs 85 crore mark.
Nizam, Ceded and Andhra rights were sold for 18 cr, 8.5 cr and 25.5 cr respectively. Karnataka rights fetched 6.75 crore for the makers and overseas deal was closed for 13 cr. Rest of India business is said to be around 2 cr. Overall, theatrical rights fetched 74 cr. Satellite rights of the movie were bought by Zee Telugu for Rs 11.20 crores.
So including satellite, theatrical, audio and other rights, Brahmotsavam total pre release business will be over 85 cr. Mahesh Babu's last movie Srimanthudu had made Rs 79 crores pre release business approximately and had provided huge profits to all the parties involved in the film's business.

Ram Gopal Varma directed upcoming Hindi movie Veerappan is slated to release on May 27th. The maverick director collected his research material based upon interviews with Veerappan's former gang members, people who used to mediate between him and the government and also from officers who were a part of the operation to capture him.
It is revealed that, the film will have a scene where Veerappan plans to kidnap superstar Rajinikanth, in the same way he had kidnapped Kannada superstar Rajkumar. Fortunately, Veerappan's plot to kidnap Rajini had been failed owing to unknown reasons.
It is a known fact that, Rajkumar was held for 108 days and finally released without harm in November 2000. Karnataka government paid Rs 20 crore for his release.
"From all the truth I gathered, Veerappan was unbelievable, but what is even more unbelievable is the drama which went behind the plan to kill him," said RGV in an interview.
Sandeep Bharadwaj portrayed the title role, whereas Sachiin Joshi will be seen as police officer. Usha Jadhav and Lisa Ray are other prominent cast in the film. As informed by RGV, Veerappan is not a remake of his Telugu-Kannada super-hit film Killing Veerappan.
