Even 5 months after releasing 'Loafer', Varun Tej is yet to kick-start his new project. Though he signed a film with Srinu Vytla titled as 'Mister', the film is yet to go on floors. Latest reports say that Varun is interested in starting another film now.
We already knew that Shekar Kammula narrated a script to Varun Tej. This Mega hero was impressed by his script and is reportedly thinking of sidelining 'Mister' and starting Kammula's film first. The film will be produced by Dil Raju. Kammula's films are usually soft in nature and Varun Tej too tried to be versatile from the beginning of his career.
But there is another talk that as Vytla's film is planning a foreign shoot first, it is taking time. Inspite of this, Varun Tej will first work on Sreenu Vytla's project and then move on to Shekar Kammula's film. We need to wait and see for further updates.

Bachchan posted pictures of Hardika's birthday celebration on his blog and shared the details of his meeting with her.
"Hardika a young girl suffers from cancer and has a wish to meet me. I comply and we meet. She is pretty and gentle and moves with an oxygen container. It is most difficult to confront the innocence of pain and lost hope.

Actress Kangana Ranaut says her ideology of being a strong, independent woman reflects in her fashion choices, something young women identify with.
Kangana says people follow her style sense because they can relate to the modern thinking that comes across in her choice of outfits.
"I think women identify with the ideology that I stand for, that is follow your own path, be your own person and have your own life and priorities and not be a quintessential Indian woman who puts herself below everyone. That ideology comes across in my clothes," Kangana, who has turned fashion designer for high-street fashion brand VERO MODA, told PTI.
"Anything that concerns art is not about the certain person. It is about the ideology, expression and thought behind it," said the actress at the launch of her French Riviera inspired collection in Noida.
The actress has personally worked on silhouettes and fabrics for the upcoming two limited edition collections for the brand.
"I love trying my hand on fashion designing. That has been on my mind for a while now. There were many offers but I wanted it to be with somebody who has the right infrastructure and platform, like the fabrics and the production quality have international standards. So, for me it was easy to collaborate with Vero Moda."
"I have designed the collection myself. I am the one who decides the silhouettes and fabrics and Robert (designer) handles the production and helps me with other things. I needed that kind of support."

Hyderabad: Telangana CM KCR planned to celebrate Telangana Formation Day in a grand manner on June 2nd. Chief Minister dreamed to unfurl largest national flag of India at the tallest pole and directed authorities to construct flag post of over 300ft at Sanjeevaiah Park for the same.

Mahesh Babu's Brahmotsavam is turning out to be worst film for the actor in this year. The big ensemble of artists is unable to pull off a success, sorry about the directionless screenplay by Srikanth Addala.
But few sentimental heads in the industry are looking at the luck and unlucky factors of Brahmotsavam and saying that glamorous Kajal happens to be iron leg of the industry. The actress' previous film Sardaar Gabbar Singh too was a disaster and now Brahmotsavam is heading for one.
Samantha who has proven to be lucky for Mahesh could not help ward off the iron leg effect of Kajal Aggarwal.
But if the content was good, the same sentimental heads may have labelled her as golden leg too

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja has become over cautious in finalizing scripts and directors. His last movie Bengal Tiger released later in 2015 was an average grosser. Ravi Teja took almost five months time to give nod for director Chakri's script.
Meantime, Ravi Teja suggested several changes, every time Chakri approached him by making changes to script. Few well-known directors and producers have approached Ravi Teja, but only thing the actor asking from them is a good script. As per insiders, Ravi Teja is asking for commercial subjects, which would take his stardom to next level.
Ravi Teja is sporting six pack abs for his new film with Chakri. Nonetheless, this is showing an adverse effect on his face. Usually, for those who work hard for a six-pack body, there would be a definite effect in their face. The charm in their face would vanish and they would become very dull.
Some say that, Ravi Teja should not waste time being over cautious for scripts and do as many as possible of films, when star filmmakers are considering to make films with him. - S

Ali, so has he been a transformed comedian lately? The actor who has been drawing ire of women organizations for his loose remarks on his women colleagues especially actresses seems to have a little mellowed down, though he has a natural tendency to cut double meaning jokes.
The actor who's hosting TV Show on ETV keeps saying that a comedian is meant to spread smiles and that he cannot hold back his words. In the most recent episode the actor tried to convey the same message again through another top anchor Suma who came as participant.
However, according to latest from the show, ETV decided to call off the show owing to Ali's 'no change' in his attitude, or so at least say the sources close to the show.

This sounds rather gross but Balayya's fans planned to celebrate the actor's birthday this year. The US plans decided to have the day celebrated in California area.
It is learnt that hot item lady Hamsa Nandini was approached to become star of the party and entertain the guests. Further it is learnt that even Balayya will shake his legs with her. The two have good chemistry and they shot for a special song in Legend.
It is surprising to see Hamsa turn item girl for a private party. Is this going to be a new trend?

Buzz was extremely positive on Superstar Mahesh Babu's Brahmotsavam, before release of the movie. However, things have completely reversed post the release. The movie got unenthusiastic response from critics as well as public, owing to poor writing and bad making by director Srikanth Addala. Unrealistic emotions and unnecessary drama has turned spoilsport for the movie.
Brahmotsavam grossed $556,660 through premieres in USA from 149 screens. As per trade analysts, sales have slowed down in the territory owing to negative mouth talk. Early estimates suggest that, Brahmotsavam day 1 shares are around Rs 13 crores in Telugu states.
Heavy rains in Andhra have affected the movie collections in the zone. Due to over class making and poor mouth talk, the movie is doing average to below average business in ceded. Although day one collections are good in Nizam, response is weak on day 2.
Reports state that, day two starts on dull note in all the centers, including Nizam. Seems like, nothing even the nature is helping Brahmotsavam to sustain at box office!

Superstar Mahesh Babu and his Brahmotsavam movie producer Prasad Vara Potluri are heard to be planning to compensate for distributors who approached them to payback money. The Srikanth Addala directed film released yesterday got lukewarm response and chances are meager for this movie sustaining at box office.
Brahmotsavam theatrical rights for most of the areas were sold on NRA (Non-Refundable Amount) basis. Producer pocketed 20 Cr table profits, but now if a speculation is to be believed he has decided to give back some amount to the distributors. Mahesh Babu who acted as well as co-produced the movie is heard to be willing to reimburse from his remuneration.
It may be recalled here that, Mahesh Babu compensated to distributors who lost big with Aagadu. While some are opposing the idea of actors, directors and producers repaying distributors when they incur losses, others say the current distribution system should be changed.
They say that, why distributors accept buying film rights for high rates on NRA basis and what rights they have to demand paying back money.
Distributors of Abhishek Pictures demanded compensation for Loafer losses from director Puri Jagannadh who refused the proposal. The same distributors have released Brahmotsavam in Nizam and are expected to face losses.

Ravi Teja caught by police
Don’t fret, and we are not kidding. The actor was really caught by cops last night. The black UV film on cars has been banned for long time now.
Yet, high profile people continue to use them to protect their privacy. In the recent times even Young Tiger NTR was caught red handed when he
was in the car with the banned film on the windows and wind shields.
Now Ravi Teja did the same. His car bearing the registration number AP 28 DK 4742 had the black film and Jubilee Hills police stopped and fined Rs 800 to Mass Maharaja!

Chennai: The DMDK floated by actor-turned-politician A. Vijaykant is expected to lose recognition as a "State Party" as it polled less than six percent votes in the Tamil Nadu assembly election.
The DMDK was the principal opposition party in the outgoing assembly and Vijaykant was the leader of the opposition.
All DMDK candidates were defeated in the May 16 polls. Vijaykant himself finished third in Ulundurpettai after the AIADMK and DMK. The DMDK secured just 2.4 percent of votes across the state.
In order to get the Election Commission's recognition as a State Party, a party must secure a minimum of six percent of all votes polled.
In 2011, the DMDK won 29 seats when it aligned with the AIADMK.
Subsequently, the two fell out and a group of DMDK legislators supported the AIADMK without resigning their seats.
At the fag end of the assembly's life, eight DMDK legislat
ors resigned and the party's strength fell to 20 in the 234-member house.
"We will study the reasons for the defeat. It is well known that money power played a major part in our defeat," K. Dhanaraju, a former MP, told IANS.
Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam opened to poor talk all over. Even the class audience are not liking this family documentary drama.
Reports from overseas too aren’t encouraging. Makers were alerted by the poor talk and public response and are planning to take some damage control steps.
As per reliable sources Brahmotsavam will be trimmed down by 18 minutes. The trimmed version will be screened from tomorrow.
We didn’t get the details about the footage that is going to be edited out. One of the songs in the first half might be removed as per the feedback.
Brahmotsavam is off to below par start in the Telugu states. Disaster reports are coming in from Ceded area. It is unlikely to beat Sardaar Gabbar Singh premieres collection in US.
It is interesting to see if Mahesh comes out and aggressively promote the film or simply accept the failure and move on.
Raghuram Rajan will in all likelihood not be given an extension for a second term. And it has nothing to do with his ability.
It is not feasible for a person to work for a governmen
t body and then come out and criticize the government at public events.
It puts the former in a highly embarrassing position and in a country like India, or for that matter anywhere in the world, it is fodder to the opposition. Also, what happens is that it sows the seeds of dissension and erodes trust between both of them.
One might argue that Rajan has freedom of expression to say what he feels to be right! Absolutely! But he can easily voice his concerns in private to the government if any.
Once he is no longer RBI Governor, he can easily write a memoir of his time in office or give interviews about what transpired. The position of RBI governor is a highly responsible and prestigious one. Rajan should have realized that every move of his would be scrutinized.
Therefore, it would make sense for the NDA to put in place a person who displays better tact in expressing his opinions.
Imagine if the Chief of Army or the Navy were start voicing their personal opinions on tolerance or some other personal issue in public such as how the defence organizations must be run? They don’t do that while in office.
Rajan will go as he is after all a UPA appointee. But he needs to be treated with the utmost respect and not slighted in such a derogatory fashion by the likes of Subramaniam Swamy.
People started trolling about “Jabardast” program on the internet. There are many fans for this programme which is being telecast on ETV and they watch it without missing even a single episode.
At the same time, there are many people who hate this show and take a dig at describing it as an extremely vulgar show.
Now, the programme has come under severe criticism for a different reason and that is laughter. People have started finding fault with the way Naga Babu and Roja are laughing at every skit performed by the participants.
Nobody feels bad, if the judges really laugh heartily at the performances of the participants. But it is irritating to see them laughing artificially for every skit. This is what is doing rounds on the net.
Netizens are poking fun at the programme, saying if anybody wants people to laugh at his joke which does not evoke laughter, he should go to Naga Babu. People are of the view that Naga Babu and Roja are forced to laugh for every silly joke, just because they are being paid a hefty remuneration of Rs 1 lakh each for every episode.
Unfortunately, they have become a laughing stock along with the anchors, who enjoy vulgar comments made at them by the artistes!
If it is not one of the rarest cases, no person love to share their space or apartment with ex girlfriend after breakup. But here is a hero who is living with his ex girlfriend and her current boyfriend!
Telugu hero Harshavardhan Rane reveals it by himself and he denies having any qualms in that. Rane acted in more heroine-centric films in Telugu and recently bagged a film offer in Bollywood. The movie 'Sanam tere Kasam' turned out to be an average performer and Rane shifted to Mumbai after finding three more solid offers there.
There were rumors that Rane decided to settle down in Mumbai and even sold his Hyderabad residence. When asked about the same, Rane laughed at it and revealed the actual fact that he never had a house in Hyderabad and he used to stay in hotels most of the time. Neither he had a house in Mumbai and never wanted to buy one. Then he said that he moved into an apartment with his ex girlfriend and her boyfriend.
We don't know how spacious is his apartment, but his heart is sure s big one! - See more at:

Telangana CM KCR has kept his promise of offering financial assistance to veteran character artiste Pavala Syamala. In the past, KCR assured Syamala of Rs. 10,000 pension every month and instructed the State's Cultural Department's Director to come to Syamala's rescue.
Yesterday, the Cultural Department deposited Rs. 20,000 towards the senior actress' pension for the months of March and April in Syamala's bank account. Expressing her gratitude, Syamala met KCR and hailed his kindhearted gesture and hoped that KCR will aid other financially ailing veteran actors.
Known for her typical dialogue delivery and comedy in numerous hit films, Pavala Syamala has been away from the arc lights since a long time following severe illness. With his latest gesture, KCR has once again won the hearts of film industry people and common people. -

Mahesh Babu's much awaited family saga Brahmotsavam released today amidst huge expectations. With nearly 80 crores at stake, the film received severe flak from critics and movie-goers for its TV serial like narration, and the major complaint from all quartets has been the film's long duration.
With negative word of mouth spreading fast with each show, the makers have acted quickly and have reportedly decided to edit out at least 18 minutes from the film. The freshly trimmed version will be played from tomorrow in all the screens.
As per the inside buzz, a major chunk of scenes in the second half including a song in the first half will be chopped off to make the film even crisper. With the film already suffering from the negative feedback, we will have to wait and see if the edited version will work wonders for the film. -

After being boiled down over the past couple of months in scorching hot summer, Hyderabad has suddenly witnessed heavy rainfall with thunderstorms and lightening. This evening, a heavy downpour with stormy winds wreaked havoc on the capital city by waterlogging the roads.
Huge trees and hoardings were uprooted and fell on a few city roads, causing damage to several cars and two-wheelers and disrupting traffic. With thick, dark clouds blanketing the city's sky, the entire city has become dark by 5 pm itself.
The magnitude of the rainfall is so severe that a pipeline near the Banjara Hills water tank broke completely and several vehicles were washed away in the water, causing a huge traffic jam. Most areas in the city were cut off power supply, pushing the city dwellers into darkness. Various municipal authorities are working relentlessly to restore normalcy.

After watching Brahmotsavam today, many might have got a thought that we are left with only few heroines like Samantha, Kajal, Tamanna in star league and it is really a high time for new heroines to take over their place.
Turning back a page or two, we can recall how pale and lean Samantha looked in Son of Satyamurthy and in recent 24. Kajal too lost her charm and no one can disagree with that if they watched her in Sardaar Gabbar Singh. Tamanna never really got anywhere near these two, though she had films like Baahubali and Oopiri, thanks to her overacting. Anushka went out of shape often, though her admirers want to justify the changes as a need for films like Size zero, Rudramadevi and Baahubali.
It is a fact that new heroines are not really able to reach the virtual benchmark set by these heroines and hence they were not being roped into star heroes films. Shruti Haasan and Rakul Preet have been giving some serious threats to seniors, but there is still a lot of space for new talented beauties. The ratio of heroes and successful heroines is not the same and repeated combinations are more like monotonous and deja vu.
Nitya menon is too selective and glamour roles is not what she usually prefers. Lavanya Tripathi, Raashi Khanna and Regina somehow look better with mid range heroes. After the set of heroines like Trisha, Shriya and Ileana, there are Samantha, Kajal, Tamanna and Anushka who took over without much gap. But, it is time for new faces to replace them too. -

The mixed talk of Brahmotsavam has given a huge relief to the makers of A..Aa. Renowned banner Haarika and Hasini creations were quite confused as to when to release their film in the mahem of Brahmotsavam and finally settled down for a June 1st week release.
But to their good luck the Mahesh Babu starrer has opened to some mixed reviews and has given them a huge advantage as they can now happily release their film without much tension and competition.
Chances are there that they can even prepone the release to May end to get a smoother run at the box office. Initially Trivikram and his team were fearing that the collections of their film will hamper big time because of Brahmotsavam but now things look happy for them.
Being a Trivikram film the craze is huge and with some.good buzz the team should have an clear advantage and now release their film happily according to their plans.

It is great to hear that Apple CEO Tim Cook visit to India has become the biggest happening towards IT development in Hyderabad. The Apple CEO announced to launch a Apple development center in Hyderabad and it sure brought smiles on face Telangana IT minister KTR and many others for taking a big leap towards IT developments.
Development and announcement things apart, it is heard that Tim Cooks office in India has cancelled all the hotel bookings as the news popped out about where he stays and that is obviously against their security protocol. The CEO office reportedly expressed their angst on a hotel management for revealing the high profile confidential details to media.
They cancelled his stay at a hotel and booked at a different one instead. Their concern is reasonable as terror attacks usually plan to target important people. -

Brahmotsavam Movie Review
Superstar Mahesh Babu's most awaited Brahmotsavam is out in theaters. Riding with sky-high expectations and the great buzz generated with the ensemble cast, the film's promos, music only added to the already humongous hype to the film. Given that Mahesh's previous film Srimanthudu was a huge blockbuster, his teaming up with Sreekanth Addala (of SVSC fame) has made Brahmotsavam one of the most anticipated movies of the year. It is not an easy task to live up to such expectations, but everyone trusted in the proved combination of Mahesh and Addala. To know whether the movie lived up to all its hype, check out our review.
What is it about?
Mahesh is the only son of Satya Raj, a rich entreprenuer, who is so attached to family bondings and firmly believes in relationships. However, the growth of Satya Raj doesn't go well with his brother-in-law Rao Ramesh who aims to grow on his own by separating from Satya Raj. What happens to Satyaraj when Ramesh walks out? What Mahesh does to bring back everyone together and what makes him go on a journey to find his family roots - seven generations of his family - is Brahmotsavam all about.
Performances:
Mahesh Babu: Mahesh Babu is one of the finest actors we have in the industry now. He has power to grasp the emotional depth of a character and brings the director's vision to life on screen by getting under the character's skin. He has once again done a fabulous job as an actor. His performance in the interval sequence and the climax scene is topnotch. He is a class apart. It is a treat to watch him on screen.
Samantha and Others: Samantha played a bubbly character and she did well. Kajal is wonderful as the one who represents the feelings of a contemporary girl. Praneetha has very little role to play. Satya Raj is good as Mahesh's father. Jayasudha, Revathi, Jayaprakash Reddy and Vennela Kishore made their presence felt among the horde of actors in this film.
Rao Ramesh got the best scenes in the film and he is superb with his dialogue delivery and expressions. The scene in which he gets emotional and takes a dig at Satya Raj is one of the best in the movie. His frustration, angst make audiences feel the same and at the same-time evoking few laughs.
Technicalities:
Srikanth Addala loves to write stories about human values and family emotions. He presented them well in the film Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimallechettu and this time he has gone awry with those emotions. His intentions are right, but what lacked is a proper script that conveys the beautiful message in an appealing way. Poor screenplay and disconnected scenes makes Brahmotsavam a tedious watch and the director is the main culprit for making a mess out of a good concept.
Micky J Meyer's songs are fine with catchy tunes. They are also shot well. However most of the songs are misplaced in the movie, which is a very bad sign. Background music is alright. Cinematographer Rathnavelu excelled in his craft. Bright visuals are one of the few bests in this film. Editor seemed clueless in connecting those pointless scenes.
Producers have spent a lot on the movie as it's refreshing to see grand visuals in every frame. Managing and bringing such an ensemble cast is definitely a welcome one. Kudos to PVP for making it possible.

Thumbs Up:
Mahesh Babu
Rao Ramesh
Visuals
Thumbs Down:
Weak Screenplay
Poor Direction
Artificial emotions
Analysis:
It is not easy to write the plot of the film in few lines because there is hardly any. Wonder how did Mahesh and the producers fell for Addala's script! Brahmotsavam starts off on a lazy note and doesn't move forward in spite of numerous characters on the screen. All the characters keep on eating, dancing and celebrating without any purpose.
It will be pretty hard for anybody to hide their frustrations watching at this epic mess. Only worthy scene in the first half comes during the interval point where Rao Ramesh's character breaks the silence. That followed by an unexpected twist raises hopes on the second half. However the protagonist going on a journey to find his ancestors and other relatives makes it all the more boring.
Despite director's honest attempts to make us emotionally involved, we would emotionlessly wait for it to end. The best scene of the second half comes during the climax. But it is not strong enough to make us forget all the pain that we have gone through till that point. Even the family audiences will not be able to connect with these artificial emotions and lackluster script. Mahesh the superstar too will need a miracle to save this one from sinking.
Verdict: Govinda Govinda...
Sarabjit is a real life based film with a lot of fiction added up to make it interesting, but the movie seems to have ended up more melodramatic, thanks to over-acting of comeback queen Aishwarya Rai.
Though the movie is about wrongfully convicted farmer Sarabjit, theme is his sister Dalbir's fight to prove his innocence when he was incarcerated in Pakistan prison for nearly two decades. Sarabjit died in a gruesome assault in jail.
Randeep Hooda lived in Sarabjit character. his looks and performance remain flawless while Dalbir's character played by Aishwarya Rai highly disappoints with her over shouting, chest thumping and failure to fit in a Punjabi woman character. She often slips from Punjabi accent and her striding voice irritates at most parts, almost everywhere. Aishwarya Rai totally failed to justify her role and another talented actress Richa Chadda as Sarabjit's wife is totally wasted in star domination.
Altogether, the movie would have been far better when Randeep Hooda was given a little more space and cut down Aishwarya's long noisy boring lectures. -

Ground is set for the grand release of Prince Mahesh's 'Brahmotsavam' on May 20. Early morning shows in some of the centers across the Telugu states will start at 5 am onwards. It is a known news that the Telangana government has given permission to screen extra show in all single theaters on the day one of the movie's release in Telangana. This show will start at 8:00 am in Telangana districts.
On the other side, crispy run time of 2 hours and 31 minutes is said to be an advantage for the movie. The family emotions and touching sentiments in the film are likely to attract family audiences in big numbers to theaters.
Mahesh's previous film 'Srimanthudu' was one of the biggest blockbusters of last year. 'Brahmotsavam' is expected to be nothing less than the range of 'Srimanthudu'. Kajal, Samantha and Pranitha are adding colour and fragrance to the film. Mickey J Meyer has composed decent tunes. This Srikanth Addala's directorial venture was produced by Potluri Vara Prasad on PVP Cinema.
Traffic congestion on major roads of western Bengaluru has come down by a modest 15%, most likely because of the east-west Metro service which fully opened on April 30.
In a study of traffic situation on roads and parking lots in western Bengaluru between April 30 and May 10, city police found that congestion came down by 15% on Mysuru Road, Kengeri, Nayandahalli, RPC Layout, Vijayanagar, Kamakshipalya, Magadi Road and Deve Gowda Circle, a senior police officer said. The Metro service eased traffic at many junctions, he added.
There are two major parking lots at Mysuru Road (Nayandahalli) and Magadi Road Metro stations (near the toll gate). More than 2,000 motorcycles and around 600 cars are parked in the Mysuru Road station parking lot. The Magadi Road station parking lot has around 200 motorcycles and 50 cars. Traffic congestion has dropped as these vehicles have gone off road, officer said.
People now use their vehicles only for last-mile connectivity. They leave the vehicles in the parking lots and prefer to travel by Metro to the Central Business District in general and Vidhana Soudha, High Court and City Civil Courts in particular. Police estimate that around 3% of commuters from western Bengaluru were using private vehicles and auto-rickshaws. They now opt for Metro.
“There is definitely less congestion, but the situation may slightly change once the academic year begins. We may see more vehicles on the road once schools reopen in the first week of June. Vehicles ferrying students may slightly contribute to congestion,” DCP (Traffic-West) S Girish told Deccan Herald. In order to fully evaluate Metro’s impact on congestion, police will study the traffic situation in the second week of June, he added.
The traffic situation doesn’t look so promising in eastern Bengaluru. There has been negligible reduction in congestion in Baiyappanahalli, Ulsoor, Indiranagar and the surrounding areas since the underground Metro opened. This is possibly because fewer people from that part of Bengaluru travel to Majestic, Vidhana Soudha, High Court, City Civil Court and the CBD for work or other purposes, police said.

As expected 'Brahmotsavam' is a complete family entertainer. The film has a dream cast with consists of seasoned actors like Jayasudha, Satyaraj, Revathi and many others. Mahesh Babu said that everything was fine but the main problem was with its heroines.
He explained that after roping in Samantha and Pranitha, we approached other heroines for Kajal's role. After listening that there were two heroines already, many of them rejected this film even without listening to the story. After getting rejected by many heroines, the script went into the hands of Kajal. When she listened the script, she was impressed by it and immediately accepted the film.
This made the makers very happy and Mahesh thanked Kajal and Samantha for accepting this roles. But, rejecting a film without listening to the script is something awkward. Isn't it? -
