Ever since it's confirmed that Nandamuri Balakrishna be donning the role of emperor Satakarni in his 100th film, and director Krish be wielding the megaphone, expectations on the film were sky high. Attempting to meet the expectations, Krish has shot a war episode in Morocco by roping on Hollywood fighters.
Ahead of his birthday on June 10, Krish has revealed the pre-look of Balayya from the film. Smeared with blood on his face, Balayya's first look was intense, terrific and menacing. Wishing the star happy birthday, the makers have interestingly mentioned Balayya as 'Basavaramatarakaputra' as the prefix to his name. Sundeep Kishan might be the bankable hero in the industry. Yet it wasn't so easy for him to get a producer for his action-thriller Okka Ammayi Thappa. And he had to wait for nearly 3 years for a producer to bankroll his film. As finally, the film is all set for grand release tomorrow. we got Sundeep for a chat.
It's learnt that several producers haven't dared initially to produce the film and that's what delayed the film. Ask Sundeep about it. He's candid enough to admit. "Yes. I had first heard the story during the shoot of Venkatadri Express. liked it immensely and readily agreed to do the film. But sadly many were apprehensive and backed out. Finally, after nearly 3 years, we started the film."
Sundeep hasn't charged a single penny for the movie. Any particular reason behind it? "It's a risk that I took to make this film happen and thus rope many on board. Especially I should thank my uncle who also didn't charge. I'm indebted to him. And the film is very close to my heart. I had worked hard on the film. And it's one of the toughest roles I've played on screen. I had to portray myriad emotions and I think I've done justice," shares Sundeep.
Giving a peep into the film, Sundeep says that Okka Ammayi Thappa is story of story of two strangers stuck in a traffic jam on a flyover with a time bomb ticking away. "Initially we wanted to do it on Begumpet flyover but later moved to Hitech city flyover. That was the only change we made in the story. Everything else was retained," added Sundeep.
Sundeep is all praise for his co-star Nithay Menon and director Rajasimha without whom the movie wouldn't be the same. On parting note ask him that OAT doesn't seem to be a traditional Telugu movie. Does he have any apprehensions? "No, not at all. Telugu audience always encourage good cinema. The film has good romantic track and edge of the seat thrilling elements that balance all sections of audience."

n a shocking incident, senior director K Raghavendra Rao had to face the ire of a young script writer name Vallipi Ravindra who alleged that the director plagiarized his script and made it into a film titled Sriramadasu in 2006.
According to the media reports, 28-year-old Ravindra from Anantapur yesterday barged into K Raghavendra Rao's Film Nagar residence and started obstructing the director's car just when he was about to leave from his home and even overpowered the security guard.
When the senior director confronted Ravindra, he alleged that he sent the script of Sriramadasu to K Raghavendra Rao in 2003 and that the director didn't give him any credit when he made the film in 2006. Furious over Ravindra's baseless allegations, K Raghavendra Rao left his home.
This only made Ravindra even wild and he then smashed the windows of an Audi, a Benz and a Santro car parked in the premises. Soon, Raghavendra Rao's son Prakash Kovelamudi manager to control Ravindra and locked him up in the security room and informed the Banjara Hills police.
Cops arrived and sent Ravindra to remand and filed cases under 452, 427 sections and are interrogating the attacker's motives. Cops foiled the indefinite fast of Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham Today. He was shifted to the government hospital in Rajamahendravaram from Kirlampudu amid tight security. Doctors have been treating him in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

He penned many popular dialogues for all top stars and none can forget it dialogues in Chiranjeevi's Shankar Dada MBBS ('IN-FRONT THERE IS CROCODILE FESTIVAL'), Bavagaru Bagunnara, Venkatesh's Preminchukundam Ra and more recently in Allu Arjun's Rudramadevi. 'As a child, I looked up to NTR as a God. When I was in College, I began treating him as a Lover. I got an opportunity to meet him when I was pursuing Mphil in Telugu University between the period 1989-1990. Chaitu's last biggest hit was Manam and it was also a multi-starrer. So, Chaitu is very keen on scoring a solo hit which has been eluding him for sometime. And he is pinning all his hopes on the Premam remake. One must appreciate Chaitu's sweet, professional gesture to save his producers and thus avoiding his film going over budget. Well done, Chaitu. -
