"Kathi" Telugu remake has finally took off today with Chiranjeevi kick starting the shoot under VV Vinayak's direction today. Here is an interesting update.
Actually the film opens with Chiranjeevi escaping from jail and from there he lands at a friend's room. That friend will be playing side-kick for the whole film. Though they have thought of roping in Sunil earlier, now Ali has taken that place. He will be seen as Chiru's side-kick in the film and expected to bring the roof down with his comedy timing.
Tentatively titled "Kathilantodu", the film is being produced by Ram Charan under Konidela Productions banner.
