Union Cabinet gave its nod for the Model Shops and Establishments Law Yesterday which permits Cinema Halls, Shopping Malls, Restaurants, Banks and Shops to operate 24 hours a day for all the 7 days in a week. Establishments which weren't covered under Factories Act and having employees count of 10 or more might be brought under this Act.
The Union Labour Ministry is expected to recommend States to adopt the Act as it would generate more jobs and address the unemployment issue to a considerable extent. Even Women will be allowed to work night shifts and there is absolutely no place for discrimination.
Model Shops and Establishments Law stresses Employers to provide facilities such as Cab Services, Ladies Toilets and Night Creches if women are hired to work during night shift.

Brexit referendum will go a long way. While the actual impact is yet being discussed and debated, US for sure has received its share of shockwaves. No, it's not because Obama campaigned for 'remain' or Trump expressed happiness over 'leave'. Texas Nationalist Movement & 'calexit' movements have resurfaced. Texas nationalist movement dubbed as TNM is headed by Daniel Miller.
The modern history of the movement goes back to 1990. Since its inception in 1990, TNM has been conducting regular activities to keep up the vigor of Texas nationalist sentiment. Republican presidential front runner was caught off-guard recently on this issue. It's very ironical that a leader who feels #brexit is in favor of Britain but #texit is not in favor of Texas. The first lesson of political correctness to Mr Trump, probably.
#Calexit has roots going back to the Cascadian independence movement. However, #calexit has never gained momentum. One of the main reasons could be absence of one prominent face of the movement, that way it's far from being any a mainstream nationalist movement. It will be interesting to see what impact these movements will have on the November presidential election.
We belong to a part of world who understands the secession movements a little more closely. While there is no direct comparison the lifecycle of the movement will remain same at the fundamental level.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan is known to be the most reclusive star in Tollywood. However, Pawan woke up from the slumber and is in a mad rush to act in more number of films before he retires from films to pursue full-time politics.
In several interviews during Sardaar's release, Pawan surprised everyone saying that he doesn't have money even to pay salaries to his staff. Pawan's big plans to gather more cash reserves for his political expenses with Sardaar bit the dust miserably with the film ending up as a colossal disaster.
But, looks like Sardaar's fate has not chan ged Pawan much. Just like Sardaar, Pawan will be one of the producers of his next film in Dolly's direction. Apparently, this film is being made with a budget of an insane 100 crores and a majority of the film's shares will go into Pawan's pockets.
Unless the film becomes a monstrous hit like Baahubali, it is difficult for the buyers to see profits. In this scenario, giving his buyers sleepless nights for his greed is not appropriate for someone of Pawan's stature. Will Pawan step back on his greed and bring smiles on his buyers' faces or continue with his own plans and aspirations. -

After scoring several super hits in Telugu, Tamil and her native language Malayalam, Kerala beauty Amala Paul tied the knot with popular Tamil director AL Vijay when she was at the top of her game.
Even after her marriage, Amala continued to act in films such as Mili, Memu and the recently released Amma Kanakku in which she played the mother of a teenage girl. In one of the promotional interviews for Amma Kanakku, Amala was asked if she will only continue to act in mother roles.
Amala replied saying that it is sad to brand a married actress as a proper fit for only mother or sister roles and said that even married actresses can play heroine roles just like any others.

Not many of our heroines look smoking hot after getting married, but dusky Malyalam siren Amala Paul is an exception. While her role in Amma Kanakku is that of a maid, she's appearing like a princess while promoting the film.
Couple of days ago when Amala met Tamil media, everyone got stunned by her seductive looks in a white ensemble. Flaunting a cold shoulder in that white dress, Amala's hairdo and stroked eyes matched the look well. Giving a peek of her curves, Amala proved that she's no less than any other glamorous starlet though she's tied the knot.
Definitely, Amala is the hot and married south girl now. Any doubts?

South India's one of the most renowned director AR Murugadoss is a very familiar name in Bollywood too. He remade his blockbuster films 'Ghajini' and 'Thuppakki' in Hindi as 'Ghazini' starring Aamir Khan and 'Holiday' starring Akshay respectively.
Now, he is filming a lady-oriented film 'Akira' and Sonakshi Sinha is playing the lead role in this flick. 'Akira' is an adoption of a Tamil film. Though the original is a hero-oriented subject, Murugadoss changed it to female oriented film for Bollywood and made ample changes. The first look of the film was released recently and Sonakshi who played glamorous roles till now will be playing a powerful role in 'Akira'. The film is expected to release on September 2nd.
After this film, Murugadoss will be making a film with Mahesh and various titles like 'Vascodegama' and others are being considered. Mahesh will be seen in a completely different look in this action entertainer. Hope that Murugadoss scores a hat-trick in Bollywood. -

After the super duper happening of ‘Bahubali,’ one name that buzzed equivalently with main leads Prabhas, Rana is of Kattappa Sathya Raj. The ultimately talented Tamil actor was although made familiar in Telugu with ‘Mirchi’ from Koratala Siva, definitely ‘Bahubali’ has done a major change for his career at least in Tollywood. One question of Nation importance was… Why Kattappa Killed Bahubali?
This time it’s a different game for Kattappa because his new movie ‘Dora’ is releasing tomorrow in theaters dubbed from Tamil movie ‘Jackson Durai’ is hitting Telugu and Tamil states in parallel tomorrow. With Sathya Raj’s son Sibi Satrhya Raj also playing a crucial main lead and Bindu Madhavi as female lead, ‘Dora’ can grab good openings in Kattappa fame.
Of late Sathya Raj’s characterization in ‘Brahmotsavam’ flopped big time and he needs to get back strongly which can happen with ‘Dora.’ Already, the scary getups of Sathya Raj and remaining casting team have created some excitement. Let’s see, how far ‘Dora’ stands on Sathya Raj brand?
After acting in nearly 300 films, senior comedian Krishna Bhagawan is taking a new route. Yes, he is all set to write story, dialogues for Allari Naresh new movie to be directed by Anish Krishna of ‘Ala Ela’ fame. On the eve of Naresh’s birthday, makers have officially announced the commencement of regular shooting from September.
Krishna Bhagawan’s peculiar comic timing made him one of the star comedians, beginning the career long back under Vamsy direction. Later on, he grew step by step becoming an integral part of every film released in last few years. Although Krishna Bhagawan’s career showed a downfall in 2016, his picking of a new job as writer hopefully should make him busy again.
Boppana Chandrasekhar who earlier produced ‘Kevvu Keka’ with Naresh is producing this untitled flick on Jahnavi Creations banner. Let’s wait for more details.
Veteran director K. Raghavendra Rao is going to make a film with Akkineni Nagarjuna very soon and this movie is going to be based on the life of saint Hathiram Baba. The film has been tentatively titled ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’.
Since Nagarjuna and Raghavendra Rao teamed up successfully in the past for ‘Annammaya’, ‘Sri Ramadasu’ and ‘Shirdi Sai’, there are good expectations on this movie as well. But members belonging to the Hathiram Baba religious sect raised some objections about the movie, stating that they were not consulted.
Sources say that Raghavendra Rao will be meeting the sect members soon, to allay their fears and apprehensions.
Telangana will soon have 24 districts and 74 mandals by Dasara, according to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. On an average, each district is expected to eventually have 20 mandals.
Addressing a meeting arranged for the TR
S parlaiementary party and legislature party at HICC on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said the smaller districts were being carved out for the administrative ease and governance only. “There is no political mileage as is being accused by the Opposition,” the CM remarked.
KCR said with the increase in the number of districts, the administration would find it easier to meet the people's needs. He pointed out that only Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal had not increased the number of districts in the country and due to this, the Central funds were not being released.
The CM also rebuked the Opposition claims that the new districts were being formed for political gains and added that an all party meeting would be convened soon to take the views of all stakeholders on the issue.
Trisha Krishnan, who is currently busy shooting for Tamil horror film "Mohini", is still the strongest contender to reprise Kangana Ranaut's role in the Tamil version of critically acclaimed Hindi blockbuster "Queen", said a source close to the actress.
"The makers have once again initiated talks with Trisha. The project requires bulk dates and Trisha already has two projects in her kitty. She is figuring out how she can set aside dates that will require her to shoot abroad for a long schedule," the source told IANS.
Veteran actress-filmmaker Revathy, known for directing films like "Mitr, My Friend" and "Phir Milenge", will helm the yet-untitled remake.
"Queen" is the story of a young Punjabi girl, played by Kangana Ranaut, who embarks on her honeymoon to Paris alone after her fiance calls off the wedding.
Actress Suhasini Mani Ratnam has been roped in to pen the dialogues for the project. The remake will be bankrolled by produced Thiyagarajan.
Long legged lass Pooja Hegde who made quite the buzz when she forayed into Tollywood with Naga Chaitanya's film Oka Laila Kosam was later seen in Varun Tej's Mukunda.
Although Pooja got many offers from Telugu cinema at that time she picked Bollywood epic drama Mohenjo Daro over everything that came her way.
Pooja Hegde didn’t want to miss out on once in a lifetime opportunity and signed up Mohenjo Daro by consenting to all their conditions.
As per agreement Pooja was not supposed to take up any other film until Mohenjo Daro hits the screens. That film is finally gearing up for release on this August 12th and Pooja is once again being chased by top filmmakers.
If the sources are to be believed, Pooja Hegde is going to be signed up for Allu Arjun’s next film directed by Harish Shankar.
She was considered for Allu Arjun’s film earlier but couldn’t bag it because of Mohenjo Daro clause. If Pooja Hegde is zeroed in for Allu Arjun’s film then she could be the next big thing in Tollywood for sure.
All the hype surrounding Niharika Konidela's first film "Oka Manasu" got punctured after the movie bit the dust. Before the release of the movie many rumors floated that Niharika is dating the movie's handsome hero Naga Shourya.
Like the movie, the rumors are also busted now. N
aga Shourya reportedly now is distancing himself from Niharika Konidela as he fears the rumors about them would further spoil his career. Naga Shourya didn't gain from the movie though Niharika established herself as a promising talent.
Buzz in the industry is that Naga Babu's elder brother, megastar Chiranjeevi got angry with the rumors about Niharika and Naga Shourya and reportedly expressed his displeasure to Naga Babu. It was then that Niharika told the media that there is nothing between them and they are just speculations.
So for the benefit of his career, Naga Shourya has moved on and working on his next movies.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan were currently enjoying their two-month vacation in London. The couple spend a lot of time here as most of Saif's childhood friends stay in this beautiful city and they enjoy doing simple things here.
In her recent interview, Kareena described Mumbai as concrete jungle..highly polluted and lacks any greenery. Whenever she is in London, The '3 Idiots' Actress go for a picnic, read books/scripts and meet friends. She can't walk on Mumbai streets but nothing could stop her doing that in London.
Most importantly, Celebs get carried away with the lot of praises in the tinsel town and sometimes they even don't remember that they are after all humans. For Kareena, Being in London keeps her grounded as she usually meets people who treat her as human beings not a star.
Who knowns, Kareena and Saif might shift their base to London permanently post retirement.

Pawan Kalyan’s creative urge to work on difference concepts made him to open a new banner Pawan Kalyan Creative Works. At the same time, Pawan also knew a fact that he is very bad at managing the financial and budget handling aspects which are pivotal in film making. Then, he came across old friend Sharat Marar and North Star Entertainment banner drove into existence.
Till now, Sharat Marar played a decisive role in Pawan Kalyan signing fresh projects. From ‘Gopala Gopala’ till the ongoing pre production works for a movie in Dolly direction, Sharat is a key personality. However, his role is learnt to be restricted only to business area without interfering into creative aspects.
Even now when Pawan is set to move on a foreign trip, alone Dolly and his team is given the sheer responsibility to complete the script. Sharat Marar is just meant to provide financial clearances and looking after management activities at office. That’s a better way of limiting producer’s role only for trade purpose. Hmmm… this theory doesn’t apply for hero Pawan Kalyan because he is all in one and one in all.
London: Men are more willing to resort to unprotected sex when they find their partners hot, reveals a new scientific survey.
The study sought to better understand the relationship between perceived attractiveness and condom use intentions in a heterosexual male population between ages 18-69.
The researchers found that more attractive a woman was judged to be on average, the more likely participants would be willing to have sex with her and the less likely they were to intend to use a condom during sex.
"Male perceptions of attractiveness influence their condom use intentions,” the study said.
"Such risk biases could profitably be discussed during sex education sessions and in condom use promotion interventions,” the researchers noted.
The research, led by Anastasia Eleftheriou, a graduate student in computer science at the University of Southampton in England, was published in the journal BMJ Open.
In the study, 51 men were asked to rate the attractiveness of 20 women on the basis of facial photographs, to estimate the likelihood that each woman had a sexually transmitted infection (STI) and to indicate their willingness to have sex with or without a condom with each woman.
The more attractive a man considered a woman to be, the less likely it was that he would intend to use a condom during sex with her, even if he thought the woman had a sexually transmitted infection, the findings showed.
The researchers also found that when a man judged a woman to be less attractive, he was more willing to use a condom.
The risk of unprotected sex also goes up when a man considers himself to be attractive, the study suggests.
The more attractive a participant judged himself to be, the less likely he was to intend to use a condom, the results showed.

Aalia Ebrahim daughter of yesteryears sex symbol Pooja Bedi is super hot and looks all set for debut in B town.
Aalia is posting a lot of candid images of her posing in bikinis on her instagram page and is already a hit on the internet.
Aalia who is just nineteen years old doesn’t mind flaunting her curves. However Aalia is sensitive and cannot take rude comments on her skin show.
“If my cleavage is visible, it does not mean I am giving consent, it does not mean I am “asking for it. I am more than my breasts and it is unfair to let them define me.” Aalia responded to negative comments on her exposing.
Pooja Bedi was known as a controversy queen during her prime and her daughter too seems pretty bold going by her statements and pictures.

New York: Americans are not generally an unhappy people but parents in the US generally are not as happy as those without children, new research suggests.
The reason? The relative lack of workplace "packages'' of policies such as paid sick time, paid vacation, flexible work hours and paid maternal or parental leave, said co-researcher Matthew Andersson, Assistant Professor of Sociology at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
The US also has the largest "happiness gap" among parents compared to nonparents in 22 industrialised countries, according to the report.
"The United States, without any standard paid leave available to mothers or parents -- or any standard vacation or sick leave to support raising a dependent child -- falls strikingly behind all the other countries we examined in terms of providing for parents' happiness and overall well-being," he said.
In countries in which such policies are mandated by the government or industry, a smaller gap exists between parents and non-parents.
"In fact, in those places, parents might be slightly happier," Andersson said.
The findings will be published in a forthcoming issue of the American Journal of Sociology.
The research examined comparative data from the US, European countries, Australia, Russia and New Zealand, which was gathered from the International Social Surveys and the European Social Surveys.
"Another striking finding was that giving money to parents in child allowances or monthly payments had less effect on parental happiness that giving them the tools -- such as flexible work time -- to combine employment with parenting," the report said.
Besides gathering policy information of the countries, researchers took into account each country's gross domestic product and fertility rate to ensure the findings did not simply reflect economic status.
Researchers tested a number of hypotheses, among them whether more unexpected births and larger families might be associated with parents being less happy than child-free people. But those factors were relatively unimportant, the study showed.
The research also found that Americans are not generally an unhappy people. On a scale from one to 10, they hover in the eight to 10 range, compared with, for example, France, where people tend to rate their levels from 5 to 7.
