Pune's Gold Shirt Man Dattatrey Phuge was murdered by his Son's Friends to recover Rs 1.5 lakh he owed to them.
On Friday morning, About five friends of Shubham Phuge (Dattatrey Phuge's Son) attacked the 'Gold Man' with knives, sickle, swords, rods and stones near Dighi in Pune. The 21-Year-Old Son of Phuge lodge a police complaint and the accused were arrested immediately.
Atul Mohite, the prime accused, called Shubham Phuge at 10 PM on Thursday night to invite him and his father for the birthday bash of a friend. Shubham Phuge was also asked to bring 10 packets of biryani and two cigarette packets on the way. Then, Shubham Phuge informed his father about the party.
By the time he reached the spot along with a friend Rohan Panchal after picking up the food, Shubham Phuge saw his friends attacking his father and he immediately raised the alarm. The assailants ran away from them but it was too late by then as Dattatrey Phuge passed away by then. Soon, Shubham Phuge informed police about the murder.
Generally, Dattatrey Phuge was guarded by armed bodyguards whenever he goes out. Surprisingly, None of the security personnel were with him on that night.

A day after veteran Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor was seen leaning out of a suburban local train during a promotional stint for his forthcoming show "24", the Western Railway here on Friday slapped a notice on the production house demanding an explanation on the stunts by the actor.
"Inspite of the terms and conditions to adhere strictly to safety and security during shoot, Anil Kapoor allegedly seems to be leaning from the footboard of a local train during a promo shoot on July 14," said an official of the Western Railway.
This was clearly observed from videos and photo uploaded on various social media networks, the official added.
Now, the Western Railway has sought an explanation from the production house Messrs. Market Men Consumer & Events Pvt. Ltd. in this regard.

The NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll issued on Friday found Clinton with high single-digit leads in Colorado, Florida, North Carolina and Virginia, CNN reported.
Clinton leads Trump in Colorado 43 per cent to 35 per cent, the poll showed.
In Florida, Clinton also paced Trump, 44 per cent to 37 per cent. Clinton was ahead of Trump in North Carolina 44 per cent to 38 per cent, a state which President Barack Obama won for Democrats in 2008 for the first time since 1976.
Finally, Clinton led Trump comfortably in Virginia, 44 per cent to 35 per cent, CNN reported citing the poll.

Qandeel Baloch, the Pak model who promised a striptease to the Pakistani cricket team if they won the ICC Mini Cricket World Cup early this year, was murdered in Multan, Pakistan by her own brother. The cops suspect that the 26-year-old actor-cum-model was the latest victim of honor killings in the country.
Qandeel was suffocated to death by strangulation. Cops revealed that Qandeel had in the past received threats from her family members, who asked her to quit modeling and also mend her outrageous ways and lifestyle.
Apparently, Qandeel's brother had been threatening her over her Facebook and Twitter posts and videos. 3 weeks ago, Qandeel requested the Senior Superintendent of Islamabad to provide her security saying that her life is in danger and that she is being threatened via calls.

Ramkumar, the accused in the murder case of Infosys techie Swathi, broke down and regretted killing the girl whom he loved during the interrogation. On the final day of police custody, Ramkumar confessed to have committed a mistake by killing Swathi.
Swathi had verbally abused Ramkumar when he proposed to her and few insulting remarks prompted him to kill her. The accused told he was is a dilemma whether to kill her or not before taking the final call.
Police recovered Swathi's phone which was taken away from her after attacking her at the Nungambakam Railway Station. The fingerprints on the sickle used in the murder matched with that of Ramkumar. DNA report proved that the blood in the bloodstains of Ramkumar's shirt is that of Swathi. The Tower Dump data collected by Cops also zeroed in Ramkumar. With all these evidences, Police were confident o proving that Ramkumar has committed the murder in a fit of rage.

In the rally conducted to expresses their dissatisfaction, Effigy of the State Health Minister Surinder Singh Negi was burnt at Lansdowne Square in Dehrudun. The workers questioned, 'why didn't the health ministry come up with 'Chief Minister Condom' or 'Health Minister Condom'.
ASHA demanded Government to stop the distribution of 'Asha Condoms' with immediate effect. When contacted by media, Health Minister Negi told such an issue hasn't come to his notice at all.

Karthika has a big family background in films. She had a great launching in the film industry with a big film and could come up the ladder quickly due to her talent. But she could not sustain it for long because of her bad luck.
Having failed in all her attempts to shine as a heroine in the last seven years, this Malayalee damsel is now focussing on television serials.
To recall her background, Karthika is the daughter of a top heroine of yesteryears Radhika. Her aunt Ambika was also a very popular heroine those days.
Karthika got the excellent launching pad with "Josh." Since it is also the debut film of Naga Chaitanya, son of Akkineni Nagarjuna, as the hero, there was a lot of hype and publicity for the film. Yet, the film was not a big hit, much to the disappointment of Karthika.
Later, Karthika acted in several Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam movies, including big films like Dammu, hit films like Rangam and a few other art films.
