Sunil’s yesterday released ‘Eedu Gold Ehe’ teaser is panned by a section of critics for repeating the similar and routine content which we saw in many of his old films. In fact, comedy is the fort for Sunil. Realizing the mistakes done in past with back to back failures, Sunil’s attempt paid off with ‘Jakkanna’ which although opened to divided talk on day one, the movie sustained at Box Office reaping profits for buyers
.
‘Eedo Gold Ehe’ is directed by Veeru Potla, who is most popular for his writing abilities. Agreed that teaser hasn’t provided any special stuff but at the same time it isn’t edited so badly. These days, Telugu audience pulse is behaving mysteriously. Veeru might have gone with safe and secure formula without trying anything new. If ‘Jakkanna’ fared well, there are chances for ‘Eedu Gold Ehe’ also to reach the target audience, said film analysts after watching the teaser.
Sushma Raj and Richa Panai are the two beautiful babes romancing Sunil in the film, produced on AK Entertainments banner. The movie might most probably hit the screens on September 9.

Apparently, this week is giving jitters to the filmmakers of Bollywood and Tollywood equally. Hrithik Roshan's 'Mohenjo Daro' was a huge disaster. Pathetically, the movie couldn't even succeed in carrying good openings on the day one of its release. Though Akshay Kumar's 'Rustom', was a better product comparatively, than 'Mohenjo Daro'. Yet, the movie's talk too was not so good though.
When it comes to Tollywood, Victory Venkatesh's 'Babu Bangaram' hit screens yesterday and carried mixed reports. The film's talk needs to be improved to reach break even. On the other hand, small budgeted movie 'Bommala Ramaram' couldn't create any sensation of sorts at the ticket windows.
Amidst good expectations, Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej's 'Thikka' released today. The movie carried negative reports at the end of its morning shows. All in all, this week registered no resounding hit at Indian box office. Let's hope, the fate of upcoming films, which are slated for release next week, will not be same as this week.

It is a general norm for singers to entertain audiences with live songs in film related events. They are known to rehearse for several hours to refrain from committing mistakes on stage. However, the latest generation of singers seems to be well disguising fans with lip sync technique.

The audio release event of NTR's 'Janatha Garage' which was held the other day has proved this appalling fact. Singers Neha Bhasin and Shravana Bhargavi, who enthralled with live performances during the event, were found to had been just lip synching to the songs playing the background.

Neha Bhasin was seen singing one of her old songs, but found to be giving just the lip movement, where she failed as she couldnot remember the lyrics. After Neha Bhasin completed singing a song, she wanted to speak but the mike didn't work, corroborating the fact that she had been singing with a defective mike all along. While Shravana Bhargavi was singing alongside Sagar on stage, one could easily figure out that the voice coming in the background was of Geeta Madhuri's. Both these singers were just making audiences believe they were performing live.

These two were caught red-handed the other day but it is heard that most of the singers resort to the same lip sync tactic on stage. -

Ever since Nayeemuddin aka Nayeem, the notorious gangster in the Telugu states, was encountered by police, several interesting details about his connections with politicians and film celebrities are unfurling.

While the politicians of the two Telugu states are already indulged in blame game of association with Nayeem, an interesting piece of info has come out now. It is heard from sources in Film Nagar that a top actress was also Nayeem's customer.

Few years ago, a top actress, who had worked in several southern films, bought a house in Jubilee Hills. When she had found herself in legal entanglement, she is heard to have approached a TS minister to solve her issue. Nayeem, who had found out this issue using his contacts, entered the scene claiming to solve the problem of the actress.

Ever since then, Nayeem had started torturing her claiming he liked her. He even had offered her an unlimited sum if she would cooperate with him. Vexed with his advances, the top actress shifted out of Hyderabad. -

Taking one more long break, Krishna Vamsi is finally arriving with a new film titled "Nakshatram" which has Sandeep Kishan playing the main lead.

As KV is expecting a huge break through this film where Sandeep will be seen as a police, already Saidharam Tej joined the shoot as a police officer and his role will be seen for 20 minutes. At the same time, dusky beauty Regina Cassandra will be seen raising from the swimming pool in a bikini for the same movie.

Not withstanding all this star attraction, KV has now roped in struggling hero Tanish to play the role of villain. Whether he plays a full length villain or just a partial one is something we have to see when the film comes out.

Seems like KV is going the stars way to score a hit finally.

Sr hero Venkatesh is cheated for the third time, is what Film Nagar is saying at the moment. Actually he hasn't scored a bomb with "Babu Bangaram" in terms of talk, but the film has made a staggering 5.5+ crores share collection on day one.

Cut to the sentiment, for the third time Khaki dress has denied a success to Venkatesh. Earlier he has featured in flopbuster "Super Police" and average rated film "Gharshana" as a police officer. Though he looks fit and fab in the character, somehow the films are not connecting and happening. That's what happened with Babu Bangaram as well as this is termed a routine film.

Whether it is director's fault or that Venky is not choosing right scripts, Babu Bangaram became third film that failed for him in Khakis. Note that!

The controversial Lip-lock scene of Nayantara with a School Kid in her latest Tamil movie 'Thirunaal' raised many eye-brows. Child Rights Activists launched protests complaining that such scenes will have a bad impact on the children. They even demanded the makers to chop off the kissing scene with immediate effect.

Director Ramanadhan issued a clarification to end the controversy. 'Firstly, People should notice the innocence of the Kid upon watching the scene. Even Censor Board approved it without suggesting any cuts. We have even conveyed a good message in the Climax but no one is appreciating it. People continue to focus only on this particular sequence. If its really objectionable, Why would someone like Nayantara would be part of it? Why don't you think from that angle?,' he questioned.

The Filmmaker opined that few people were deliberately making a hue and cry over every aspect in the recent past. He claims to done nothing wrong before appealing people to treat it just like any other scene in the movie.

Suma, Udaya Bhanu and Jhansi have ruled the small screen for years. Among the younger generations, Its only Anasuya and Rashmi who made a mark of their own.

Right from the beginning, Domination of Female Anchors continued in the Industry. Omkar is the only Male Anchor who carved a niche for himself but his style of anchoring was accepted by only niche audience. Movie Review: Thikka

Rating: 1.5/5

Cast: Sai Dharam Tej, Larissa Bonesi, Mannara Chopra, Rajendra Prasad, Ajay, Ali, Satya, Saptagiri, Anand, Raghubabu, Posani Krishna Murali and Others.

Cinematography: KV Guhan

Music: SS Thaman

Story: Dawood

Screenplay: Dawood-Suneel Reddy

Direction: Sunil Reddy

Release Date: 13th August 2016

After a disaster like 'OM' with Kalyan Ram, Director Sunil Reddy took a long gap and finally arrived with 'Thikka'. Teaming up with a hat-trick hero like Sai Dharam Tej has certainly helped the project generate good buzz. Did Sunil Reddy bounced back or not?

Synopsis:

Anjali (Larissa Bonesi) enters into the life of Aadi (Sai Dharam Tej) after an accident and changes him completely from thereafter. However, The Love Birds call for break-up after Anjali complains Aadi doesn't love her as much as she love him. That's when Aadi hosts a break-up party in a bar. It was then few new characters enter the scene one after the other only to complicate the situation. What has Aadi done to come out of this mess and win the heart of Anjali again forms the rest of the tale.

Performances:

Audience were clueless how a Hero like Sai Dharam Tej has accepted such a subject. Except for Dances, Nothing much to talk about him. He should be very careful while choosing the scripts, else such duds will follow.

None of the female leads, Larissa Bonesi and Mannara Chopra were impressive. Better not to discuss about their acting skills.

Rajendra Prasad is wasted. The look of Ali and the kind of make-up used for his bald-head is worse. Rest of the actors too failed to make an any impact.

Pros:

Music

Cinematography

Production Values

Cons:

Performances

Screenplay

Direction

Technicalities:

The best part about 'Thikka' would be the music of SS Thaman. 'Nee Kosam', 'Vellipoke' and Title Track were impressive. Background Score is good. KV Guhan did a splendid job. Dialogues were poorly written. Production Values were rich. One must say Director Sunil Reddy learnt nothing from 'OM' failure. He wasted so much money on a project which neither had a decent story nor gripping screenplay.

Analysis:

Yes, The title 'Thikka' & tagline 'Unlimited' are so apt for this project. Telugu Audience mayn't have watched a such a crap in the recent past. Makers of 'Thikka' showed how a film can be made with a terrible characterizations, senseless screenplay and below par performances.

15 Minutes into the film, Viewer would start scratching his/her head as no one knows why so many silly characters come and go during the course of the movie. The confusion created by countless artistes will test the patience of audience within the First Half. One need to have lot of courage to watch the latter half of the movie.

Basically, 'Thikka' is based on the incidents in the life of the Youth in a span of one day. In almost all the scenes, At least one actor will be seen holding a liquor bottle in his hand. Particularly, Hero behaves as if he can't live without it. Either the lead actor would be seen drinking one bottle after the other or bash up people.

Although the run time is just 2 hr 20 min, 'Thikka' is hardly watchable. No one knows why the Director burnt the pocket of the Producer with unwanted chasing scenes, fights and songs. The Burqa comedy which lasts for 30 minutes is painful to watch. Don't be surprised if you feel 'Rey' is better than 'Thikka' after stepping into the theatres.

Bottomline:
 Unbearable Thikka!
