He said, 'I am really excited that Surya has come on board to do Thuppariyum Anandhan with me. This will be an action adventure in a contemporary styled period film. All cliches associated with making a period film will be broken with this effort.'
Surya who was overwhelmed with the project from Gautham Menon said `When Gautham and I come together, people expect romance, great songs and action. However, 'Thuppariyum Anandhan' will offer the audience all this and so much more packaged in a style never seen before.' Sushmita Sen is proud of Himangini Singh Yadu, who was crowned Miss Asia Pacific in Busan, Korea, and said that she has got the best gift for everyone. Himangini won the title June 16 and when she returned Thursday, Sushmita was at the airport to receive her. “It’s a proud moment for Indi., Himangini Singh has made us all very proud by winning this title because we have been waiting for a win on the international stage for a long time now,” the 36-year-old told reporters at the airport.
Indore girl Himangini is a product of Sushmita’s organisation I Am She – Miss Universe India and is the first Indian girl to win an international beauty pageant in 12 years. “She has given us the biggest gift. Her life starts now because today once again an Indian beauty has been recognised and given a place on the world map and that is one of the greatest achievements,” Sushmita added.

Sneha , recently got married with co-actor Prasanna  escaped from drowning when she was shooting in Rameswaram for her upcoming film on Monday evening. The newly-wed actress who is paired opposite Kishore in “Haridas”, directed by GNR Kumarvelan, was shooting in Dhanushkodi, the southern tip of the Rameswaram island, with the cast and crew in a boat.
Director  says, “I was filming a song sequence . A killer tide hit our boat and it capsized. We immediately sent Sneha safely to the shores in another life boat. My cameraman Ratnavelu started swimming, but I don’t know how to swim. So, I was forced to hold on to the boat for a while till some local fishermen rescued us. It was a horrifying experience.”
Sneha, meanwhile, is still shaken. “She took her time to get back to normal and now she’s doing fine. I also gave  her the option of postponing the shoot for a while, but she insisted that we complete the schedule,” he adds.

A fire explosion in Nagarjuna Agro Chemicals in Srikakulam District has injured more than 10 people this morning after which smoke engulfed an area of 5 kms around. However, the factory workers who are being interviewed by different channels for their sensational headlines have blamed the reporters for wrong reports.

Till now, authorities and bureaucrats have confirmed that only 17 persons are injured and there are no causalities. Factory sources stated that some workers are feared trapped inside the reactor where fire got broke out. Media also aired the same story and the incident is taken in a lighter vein. However, workers stated that already 10 people have lost their lives and blasted electronic media for not giving right reports on TV without checking actuals.

Surprisingly, no media person dared to break into the factory premise while only district government officials and politicians are being allowed inside. This indeed is giving raise to many doubts about what have happened inside. Like in the recent steel-plant incident, many people are said to be charred to death due to this deadly explosion.

The social activists have vented out their anger against Pune police for not registering a domestic violence case when a 15-year-old girl approached police stating that she has been subjected to harassment by her husband and in laws. The police, instead of acting promptly, gave Rs. 20 to the girl and asked to get her wounds treated. According to the social activists, the victim approached  police on June 26 after she ran out of home unable to bear the physical torture.
The victim pleaded the police that she be saved. But, the police asked the girl to return to her husband. Unable to go back, the poor victim went to railway station to find someone who could give her a job where she met social worker Nasima Maniyar. Victim asked Maniyar if she could give her a job. It took no time to Maniyar to realize the girl was subjected to third grade treatment by her husband. She took the victim to a doctor for a medical check up and Dr. Yamini (who was also a social activist) confirmed that victim was belted heavily. The victim even developed injuries on her private parts, which indicated that she was beaten up regularly.
The victim was taken to Child Welfare Community (CWC) on Thursday. Today, CWC heard the victim's case and she was asked to undergo medical test. After the test, the victim would be shifted to observation room. The social activists demanded stringent action against the police, who asked the victim to return home.

Hyderabad, June 29: TRS senior leader and Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao has made it clear that his party will not accept Rayala Telangana proposal at any cost. He said that the Telangana people desired to have separate State, which was merged with Andhra region. 

Speaking to the media here on Friday, Harish Rao has questioned the Ministers from Telangana region as to why they were not responding as their counterparts Seemandhra leaders were speaking much on the issue. 

Lashing out at the State Government for releasing the Nagarjuna Sagar water for Krishna Delta, he alleged that the Government has taken this decision resulting in Telangana people facing  drinking water problem. He expressed concern over releasing the Nagarjuna Sagar water to Krishna Delta region and said that Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Nalgonda and Mahabubnagar districts people would face severe drinking water problem. He demanded the Ministers from Mahabubnagar to respond on the issue. 

Dubbing the Ministers from Hyderabad Danam Nagender and Mukesh Goud as too much talkers, he wanted them to respond on the issue immediately. He said that releasing water to Krishna Delta by keeping the drinking water needs of four Telangana districts aside shows the Seemandhra Government’s conspiracy. 

He demanded the State Government to withdraw the decision on releasing water to Krishna Delta and warned that the TRS MLAs would obstruct the release of water, if it failed. 

Stating that there was no space for the national parties and national unions’ in Telangana region, Harish Rao said that Parakala bye-election and Singareni Karmika Sangam election results have proved this fact clearly.

Story
Ravi (Srikanth) father( Kota Srinivasa Rao) was arrested for fraud of Rs 15 lakhs and no Ravi is on his mission to save his father. In the process he bumps upon Chandu (JD.Chakravarthy). In between he smitten in one side love with Chandu's sister Lucky (Lucky Sharma). During his mission Ravi meets lots of characters like Dubai businessman Razaq (Pradeep Rawat) and his secretary Sharma (Krishna Bhagawan) along with Raghu Babu (Police Officer Papa), Brahmi (small time rowdy goon Gochi). How these characters help Ravi achieve his mission and What is the real intention of  Chandu a, whether Ravi would be able to save his father from imminent punishment has to be seen on silverscreen.
Performance
Srikanth and JD got equal screen presence in the film and Srikanth did his role to perfection. JD for his part found it uncomfortable to express himself in east Godavari slang which is made mandatory in the film as it was shot in Rajamundry and near by areas. Heroines Lucky Sharma and Anisha Singh had very little screen presence only to show their glamor in untimely songs. Lucky Sharma got some thing to show but unfortunately she wasn't too mesmerising. Except for Pradeep Rawat roles of Brahmanandam, Raghubabu, Suthi Velu, Telangana Shakunthala, Vizag Prasad, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji are just for name sake. Raghu Babu's comedy as cop brings back memories of Hello Brother comedy track.
Technical
Director JD from the beginning planned a hilarious entertainer and being the low budget film he succeed in his attempt. One can visualise no extravagant settings or richness with group of people in songs and duets. Most of the songs have been canned in and around coastal Andhra.Music by Hemachandra is just around average. Venkatesh's editing is fine. Mohan Challa's dialogues are the highlight for the film.Siva Kumar's cinematography is worse. Production values of Sudha Cinema and Chekravarthy Productions are very bad which bought the film down a bit.
Analysis
Director JD included too many characters in the script and some times it may lead to confusion. However being a comedy entertainer viewers did not care much about it as hilarious punches come thick and fast in between giving little time for them to find fault with the director or the story. However there are many irrelevant characters like Raghu Babu, Brahmanandam and many others. Rao Ramesh's reprising his father Rao Gopala Rao brings instant laughter from audience. Final Talk..Can be watched once to laugh away all the tensions.

Hyderabad based lawyer and YSR-C party member Gowtham Reddy accused that Congress MP Lagadapati Rajgopal has cheated ICICI bank by not repaying a loan of 3000 crore rupees. 'Lagadapati has bought a coal company in Australia that is running in losses with people's money. Later he took 3k crore loan by mortgaging the documents of that company in ICICI bank', Gowtham Reddy said. He alleged that Lanco Infra shares have lost heavily in the stock market, many investors including ICICI have lost their money. The lawyer demanded a judicial enquiry by CBI and Enforcement Directorate into these happenings.

While the allegations are getting sensational in political circles, there are lot of disjoint and impractical statements made. Firstly, when a company acquired money by selling shares, common people cannot show authority over the using of that money. Secondly, there is no provision in Indian banks to give loans on documents of foreign properties. If that happens, all the NRIs living abroad will take crores of loans in India by showing their foreign property documents and will not run for investors. We have to see how Lagadapti responds on this.

The Hyderabad police today registered a case for making public the call data of one Ms Chandrabala, by a few persons. The Cyberabad police registered a case for intruding into the privacy of a person. The case was registered on Sakshi Media's senior reporter K Yadagiri Reddy and the Nacharam Circle Inspector Srinivasarao under sections 120 B, redwith 505(2) and 509.
The Cyberabad police said that Vasireddy Chandrabala, the IBM employee and Mr Laxminarayana’s classmate, had lodged a complaint on Monday regarding the manner in which her call data was obtained and exposed by the YSR Congress.
Earlier, a police official said, “No individual can be allowed access to the call detail record and it is an offence under the Indian Telegraph and IT Act.”

More than 35% of the applicants are said to be women. The fate of all these persons is linked with the 'lottery' the government is going to conduct to finalize the deals.

London, Mar 31: British women are top of the game when it comes to using their cleavage to get ahead in life, a new study has claimed.

According to the findings of the survey, commissioned by Wonderbra, an increasing amount of females are reaping the benefits of their decolletage.

In a poll of 1,000 women across the UK, one in seven admitted to wearing plunging necklines in the workplace to give their career a boost, while 8 percent revealed that low-cut tops had helped them escape a parking fine.

Meanwhile half admitted they flashed more flesh in a bid to get served at a bar and more than a quarter - 28 percent - believed a bust-enhancing bra would make a lasting impression on a potential suitor.

Overall two thirds of women reported exposing clothing made them feel sexy and more confident.

“Showing your cleavage is the embodiment of empowerment,” the Daily Mail quoted a spokesperson for Wonderbra as saying.

Striving for the ultimate cleavage the poll also discovered that four in five women eye up other girls’ assets, from friends to celebrities.
