In protest against the centre's refusal to grant special status to Andhra Pradesh, YSR Congress party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called AP bandh on August 2 (Tuesday).
He said the the BJP led NDA ally TDP also failed to impress upon the centre in achieving special status to the residue state of Andhra Pradesh.
The YSR Congress MPs have been raising the issue in Parliament but the TDP MPs are reluctant to join hands for the cause.
The party leaders said the opposition party will chalk out an action plan to realise the aspirations and dreams of Andhra Pradesh people soon. -

He lands in Vizag for notorious criminal Bairagi (Kabir Singh) and falls madly in love with a Girl (Mannara Chopra). Finally, He traces Bairagi and appears before him. After shedding weight & gaining muscles, Sunil lost the comic touch for which he is known for! Vast change in the physical appearance and body language have ruined his ability to generate humour. He isn't even able to earn brownie points with Heroism to make things worse. One thing is for sure, Sunil has been putting a lot of effort to bounce back and his dances were good.
Mannara Chopra fails to leave a good impression either with glamour or performance. Kabir Singh is wasted. One gets the doubt if he is the same guy who looked menacing in 'Jil'. Rest of the cast is alright.

'Raksha' Director Vamsi Krishna attempted an out and out commercial subject this time. But, His script lacked originality & logic to produce a money spinner.

Basic Plot & Screenplay of 'Jakkanna' keeps on irritating the viewers after a point. Audience get disconnected with the story during the Interval Block. In the second half, Comedy Scenes start coming one after the other without any logic.
Audience wait to know if there is any specific reason for the behaviour of Hero but only in the Climax they realize that they were expecting too much. Kabir Singh's Introduction is powerful. But, The impact has been diluted by making him look like a baffoon in the other scenes. None of the Six Songs were appreciable and most of them appear forced.
Saptagiri brings the much needed relief with his role as Dummy Kung Fu Master & Spoof inspired from Memory Loss concept in 'Bhale Bhale Magadivoy'. Even Pruthvi succeeds to some extent with imitation of Balayya's dialogue modulation. Notably, Audience might enjoy these comedy tracks only if they don't bother about story, screenplay and logic.
Why Jakkanna has been chosen as the Title? No one had any clue why Makers preferred it till the very end. In the Climax, Director tried to give justification to the title with a Dialogue 'Raayi La Unna Villain Ni Shilpam La Marchina Ithanu Jakkanna'. The end result could have been different had if Director focused on narration rather than punchlines with rhyming words.

Pelli Choopulu Movie Review
Pelli Choopulu is an endearing romantic comedy that comes as a fresh whiff of breeze amongst the cliched offerings from Tollywood. First timer Tharun did a commendable job in handling this light hearted entertainer that is laced with emotions.
What is it about?
Prashanth (Vijay) is a confused guy who is passionate about cooking. He meets Chitra (Ritu) who has high aspirations in life. They both have different ideologies and mindsets, but they come together to get a step closer to their aims. However things don't go as planned for them.
Performances:
Vijay Devarakonda who has put up an impressive show in 'Yevade Subramanyam' has once again came up with a natural yet striking performance in this film. He keeps it simple even in the emotional scenes. He is a treat to watch. Ritu Varma has got an author backed role. She is a fine actress that she made the most of it. Priya Darsi as hero's friend is an asset to the film. His comedy timing and dialog delivery are superb. Abhay complemented him well. Anish Kuruvilla of Anand fame shined in his role. Kedar Shankar and Gururaj have played their part.
Technicalities:
Tharun Bhascker who has started off with short films took a simple plot for his debut feature film and narrated it in an entertaining way. He made sure to get the best output of his resources. He is surely a talent to watch out for.
Music by Vivek Sagar is superb. He did a fabulous job with the background score. Nagesh's camera work is pleasant. In fact it is one of the best assets of this film. Editing is neat. Producers should be appreciated for backing this idea and the new director. Production values are good even if it is made on a budget.

Analysis:
Pelli Choopulu doesn't have a great story line. However, young director Tharun narrated it in a refreshingly striking way which is ably supported by the cast and the technical crew. First half of the film is particularly impressive and totally paisa vasool with relatable characters and lots of freshness in its screenplay.
Vijay's encounters with his ex girlfriend, call center episode and his attempt at making prank videos will leave you in splits. Director effortlessly mixes humor into the proceedings without deviating from the plot. Director had full clarity and command over his craft that there is absolutely no confusion in screenplay in spite of narrating two stories simultaneously during the first hour.
Second half is a bit emotional compared to the first half as the characters get serious about what they do. Few emotional scenes in the second half are truly impressive. On the flip side, the story gets predictable in the second half. Climax also isn't that effective. But that is not a big deal. All in all Pelli Choopulu is a breezy entertainer that will leave a smile on your face.

Priya Darsi as hero's friend is an asset to the film. His comedy timing and dialog delivery are superb. Abhay complemented him well. Anish Kuruvilla of Anand fame shined in his role. Kedar Shankar and Gururaj have played their part.
Technicalities:
Tharun Bhascker who has started off with short films took a simple plot for his debut feature film and narrated it in an entertaining way. He made sure to get the best output of his resources. He is surely a talent to watch out for.
Music by Vivek Sagar is superb. He did a fabulous job with the background score. Nagesh's camera work is pleasant. In fact it is one of the best assets of this film. Editing is neat. Producers should be appreciated for backing this idea and the new director. Production values are good even if it is made on a budget.

Analysis:
Pelli Choopulu doesn't have a great story line. However, young director Tharun narrated it in a refreshingly striking way which is ably supported by the cast and the technical crew. First half of the film is particularly impressive and totally paisa vasool with relatable characters and lots of freshness in its screenplay.
Vijay's encounters with his ex girlfriend, call center episode and his attempt at making prank videos will leave you in splits. Director effortlessly mixes humor into the proceedings without deviating from the plot. Director had full clarity and command over his craft that there is absolutely no confusion in screenplay in spite of narrating two stories simultaneously during the first hour.
Second half is a bit emotional compared to the first half as the characters get serious about what they do. Few emotional scenes in the second half are truly impressive. On the flip side, the story gets predictable in the second half. Climax also isn't that effective. But that is not a big deal. All in all Pelli Choopulu is a breezy entertainer that will leave a smile on your face.
Verdict: Refreshing Romance.

A Hospital will be established for addressing the Health Issues of Telanganites in Gulf using Public-Private Partnership model. We will soon meet External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to discuss about Insurance scheme for NRIs. An out-post will be set up at Airport for looking into the procedures to bring the bodies of the people who breathed their last in foreign soil,' he informed.
Higher Officials and Telangana NRIs from 20 Nations took part in the meeting. All of them lauded the efforts of State Government to improve the relations, brought few concerns to its notice and offered their valuable suggestions.

When the Media House first contacted her for an Interview, Mamta Kulkarni sent a message saying she would talk only if they read her book, 'Autobiography of a Yogi'. She then sent a copy of the 90-page book through an email. In the book, She mentioned about her transformation from being a sex bomb to yogini after she met her guru Shri Gagangiri Maharaj at his ashram in Khapoli.
In the telephone interview, Mamta told she was No.2 in Bollywood when she quit and moved her base to Dubai after her Mother's death. She reveals it was her mother's dream to see her as an actress.
