According to information, JAC core committee has called a meeting of district chairmen to whom KCR made telephone calls and asked them to support him to remove Prof. Kodandaram from the JAC chairman post. It is learnt that several district JAC chiefs had attended the meeting of the core committee held at the Telangana Film Chamber near clock tower in Secunderabad. KCR’s attitude towards the JAC and its chairman, his highhanded feeling that JAC should be subservient to him were elaborately discussed in the meeting. Apart from Kodandaram, Telangana employees JAC leaders Swamy Goud, Devi Prasad, Srinivasa Goud and Rajender Reddy attended the meeting. District chiefs of JACs of Nalgonda, Warangal, Medak and Nizamabad were also present at the meeting.

The JAC core committee has reportedly decided that only one of the Telangana parties should contest from the Parakala constituency in Warangal district. It was also decided in the meeting to prevail on the TRS and BJP to field only one candidate. If that is not possible, JAC may field its own candidate and give a call to the people to vote for that candidate and not TRS or BJP.

NEW YORK/OAKLAND, California (Reuters) - Occupy Wall Street protesters smashed windows in Seattle, were chased through New York streets by police on scooters, and clashed with officers in Oakland on Tuesday in May Day demonstrations intended to revive their movement against economic injustice. While many events involving thousands of protesters were peaceful or even festive and few injuries were reported, dozens of people were arrested at rallies across the country, including more than 30 in New York during a series of skirmishes throughout the day. In Oakland, police in riot gear fired tear gas and flash-bang grenades to disperse protesters who they said threw objects at officers and struck them with corrugated metal shields. City officials said marchers also vandalized two banks, a police van and a news vehicle. Nine were arrested. "I was standing on the outside and the cops came in, snatched two people in the crowd, beat them and put them in the paddy wagon," Occupy Oakland organizer Caitlin Manning said. Much of the violence and vandalism was attributed to black-clad anarchist elements within the Occupy movement who have been involved in previous confrontations with police, marring what began as a peaceful anti-Wall Street protest movement. But the clashes they helped spark last year had also served to inject new life into the protests as demonstrators took up the issue of police brutality following running clashes in Oakland and pepper spray incidents elsewhere in the country. In downtown Seattle, protesters carrying black flags on sticks shattered the windows of several stores including a Nike Town outlet and an HSBC bank before police moved them out of the area. Others smashed windows at a Seattle federal building, and several were taken into custody. Inspired by the Arab Spring, the Occupy Wall Street movement captured world attention last year with a campaign decrying the gap between rich and poor and a political system and tax structured tilted toward the wealthiest 1 percent. 'YOU ARE NOT IN CONTROL' In New York, where the Occupy movement began last September, thousands packed New York's Union Square in a party-like atmosphere with Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello. "It's definitely a restart for Occupy Wall Street," said Lily Schwarzbaum, 21, who is from New York but studies in Montreal, Canada. "Occupy Wall Street has been very conscious of making it a kick-off." But before the day was out, about 400 New York protesters - many wearing black clothes and bandannas - ran onto Broadway as police chased them on scooters. Police also reported 10 instances of harmless white powder -- apparently meant to raise an anthrax scare -- being mailed to financial institutions and others, along with notes saying, "Happy May Day ... This is a reminder you are not in control." David Meyer, sociology professor at the University of California, Irvine, said the movement needed to rein in its more radical elements if it wanted to retain support by the American public. "The challenge is that the most radical action, particularly if it's violent, is going to get the most attention," Meyer said. "The broader Occupy movement runs the risk of being discredited by its own radical flank." In that vein, Occupy Cleveland canceled its events "out of respect for the city" after five self-described anarchists were arrested on suspicion of plotting to blow up a four-lane highway bridge over a national park. Occupy Cleveland said in a statement the men arrested were associated with their movement but that "they were in no way representing or acting on behalf of Occupy Cleveland." The group said it was committed to non-violent protest. OFFICER HURT IN LOS ANGELES Although labor unions rejected pleas from leaders of the Occupy movement for a general strike, forcing demonstrators to abandon a plan to shut down San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, activists hailed the day's events as a step forward for a movement that had grown inactive and cash poor since capturing world attention last fall. "We've been building important alliances and radicalized people in what they're willing to endorse. I mean, we never even used to celebrate May Day. Now look at this," said David Graeber, an anthropologist and author active in the movement. May Day, also known as International Workers' Day, has long been a day on which the labor movement holds street demonstrations and marches, but less so in the United States than elsewhere around the world. In Los Angeles, thousands of protesters including a large contingent of immigrant rights activists, some waving Mexican flags, marched through the downtown financial district, remaining mostly peaceful despite a few minor skirmishes. American Apparel CEO Dov Charney, who took part in the rally, said he gave some 200 workers at the company's downtown Los Angeles factory the afternoon off to participate. "We want to support a non-apartheid system," Charney told Reuters, referring to U.S. immigration policies. Lieutenant Andy Neiman, a spokesman for the Los Angeles police department, said a female police officer was struck by a skateboard during a scuffle with protesters and was taken to a local hospital, where she was listed in stable condition. Ten people were arrested near Los Angeles International Airport after they blocked a major thoroughfare. In Portland, about a dozen people were arrested after clashing with police during a downtown march. Hyderabad, May 1: New Democracy has expressed its anger at the TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao trying to dislodge Prof. Kodandaram, Chairman of the Telangana JAC. Though Eetela Ravindra, TRS Legislature Party leader has on Monday denied that there were any differences between the TRS and the JAC, Suryam, spokesperson of the New Democracy told the media that he had information that KCR has called JAC chiefs of four or five districts and told them that Kodandaram was behaving in a high-handed manner and has to be removed. He said that it was feudalistic to feel that JAC was the creation of the TRS and has to be subservient to it. He said when he spoke to Kodandaram, he has refused to talk, and this gave him a clear idea of the seriousness of the situation. This is the first time that New Democracy, a partner of the JAC and the Telangana movement has come out in the open and criticized TRS. Suryam has said that chairmen of some districts have called his party leaders and informed about the phone calls they had received from KCR expressing displeasure over the style of functioning of Kodandaram and asking them to help remove him. He said New Democracy had demanded immediate convening of the JAC meeting and Kodandaram had agreed. Suryam has said it was highly improper on the part of KCR to state that it was he who has created JAC and hence it should act according to his diktats. This amounts to unilateral and feudalistic behavior, Suryam said. When TRS and BJP take on each other in an election, he said JAC could not express support to any one of them. JAC was created to fight for Telangana and not for ensuring the victories of political parties. He said his party was viewing at KCR’s behavior as violation of the terms and conditions under which JAC was created and accepted by all the partners. He said it was unfair on the part of either TRS or BJP to demand support of the JAC for them in the Parakala by-election. If JAC supports one particular party it would lose its credibility, he added. Stating that Kodandaram should maintain independent stance, he said no one has the authority to dictate terms to him.

May 1: A 54-year-old Indian-origin court clerk in Britain was caught watching porn by a judge during a rape trial. The man said he did so as the case was "boring". Debasish Majumder viewed the explicit material while a sex attack victim gave evidence at the Inner London Crown Court, the Daily Mail reported. He will now be supervised for 18 months and ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years. His computer usage will also be monitored. Majumder, a resident of Haringey, north London, had been working for the court service for 27 years. He confessed he routinely watches internet porn when he was bored. "I only looked at porn because the case was boring and did so once or twice a week since December 2009," he told police. The man was spotted by Judge Nigel Seed and he subsequently reported the incident. Detectives then found indecent images of children and extreme porn on his home computer. The Kingston Crown Court heard the man made a series of porn searches on the internet during the rape trial in December 2010. The court sentenced Majumder to seven months in prison, suspended for two years. The prosecutor told the court how the judge noticed "cartoon-like" images on his clerk's computer but was unable to ascertain whether they were sexual. Later, he found him looking at a list of pornographic websites. Majumder admitted to charges of misconduct in public office, possessing indecent pseudo images of children and possessing extreme pornography.

Government Whip Toorpu Jayaprakash Reddy alias Jagga Reddy today strongly criticized Telangana Political JAC chairman Prof. Kodandaram and his party MP Ponnam Prabhakar for attacking Rajya Sabha member Renuka Choudary. Talking to the media here on Tuesday, Jagga Reddy questioned Prof. Kondandaram what authority he had to decide who was from Telangana and who was not. He also criticized his own party MP from Karimnagar Ponnam Prabhakar for challenging Renuka to contest from Parakala constituency of Warangal district, in the ensuing by-elections. Jagga Reddy has demanded an apology from Kodandaram for criticizing Renuka Choudary. He also described the 'T' JAC chief as the dummy of the TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao. He said that KCR did not need any other dummy as he himself has become one. He claimed that the TRS has got weakened in the Telangana region and KCR was forced to look at alternative means to cheat the people as they were no longer believing him. The firebrand MLA has questioned whether Kodandaram considers himself to be the touchstone to decide who was a Telanganaite and who was not. He also said that Ponnam Prabhakar has no stature to criticize Renuka Choudary. He said that Prabhakar has become an MP by sheer luck. He said that there was no sense in their argument that Renuka Choudary was not from Telangana.

Speaking to the media here on Monday, she has asked KCR to state how many families of 'T' martyrs his party had helped. She has alleged that Congress and TRS have been hand-in-glove since the last eleven years. She said if people felt that Telangana would be possible if TRS won her Parakala seat, she was ready to quit the contest. She has asked the people to think if Telangana would be a reality if TRS won the seat.

She said KCR himself had admitted that his party was strengthening itself through the Telangana sentiment. She has expressed confidence that she would win the ensuing by-election.

Hyderabad, April 30: TRS supremo K Chandrasekhara Rao who has been maintaining distance from the Telangana political JAC after his party’s debacle at the hands of the BJP in the recent by-poll to Mahabubnagar constituency, is now said to be making an all out effort to either remove the JAC chief Prof. Kodandaram or disband the JAC altogether.

According to reports, KCR is seething with anger at Kodandaram maintaining neutrality and allowing the Mahabubnagar unit of JAC to support BJP. It is learnt that KCR has been stating in close circles that it was atrocious that JAC which was his own creation has opposed his party.

KCR has been calling other important office bearers and district leaders of the JAC and telling them to choose between him and Kodandaram. He has also reportedly threatened them that if they want Kodandaram, TRS would walk out of the JAC.

Differences have sprouted between KCR and Kodandaram during the ‘Million March’ jointly undertaken last year in Hyderabad. Though they have patched up their differences later, the gap between the two has further widened after the Mahabubnagar by-election. KCR is firmly believing that it was due to the stand taken by the JAC that his party faced defeat in Mahabubnagar constituency. KCR who was all praise for the JAC and Kodandaram in his party’s 9th and 10th anniversaries, has not said a single word about either of them in the 11th anniversary held at Vikarabad recently. TRS leaders are stating in their private conversations that either JAC or the position held by Kodandaram, were all courtesy KCR.

Eetela Rajender, TRS Legislature Party leader has openly said that JAC was the creation of TRS and not the other way round.

A head on collision between TRS and BJP appears to be imminent in the Parakala constituency of Warangal district, where by-poll is due on June 12. It is in this context that KCR is strategically planning to either remove Kodandaram or bring him to his knees so as to make JAC extend its support to TRS.

It is learnt that Kodandaram is also consulting other partners of the JAC on the future course of action in view of the collision path chosen by the BJP and the TRS. He is also reportedly in touch with the suspended MPs of Congress, so as to take them into JAC fold. Kodandaram is likely to hold a meeting of the steering committee of the JAC shortly and place the facts before it.

TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao appears to be distancing himself from the Telangana political JAC and its chief Prof. Kodandaram.

This attitude of KCR is becoming clearer by the day after his party's debacle at the hands of BJP in the recent Mahabubnagar by-election, where the local JAC has supported the BJP.

KCR who was all praise for the JAC and Kodandaram in the tenth anniversary of the party last year, has not uttered a single word about the role either of them in the eleventh anniversary held here on Friday. Though there was a passing remark about the Sakala Janula Samme, he still had not mentioned about the role of the JAC in organizing it.

KCR has spit fire on BJP also. He said some 'mad caps are stating that only national parties are capable of achieving Telangana. But where are the national parties? The parties claiming to be national, are existing only in regions. There is no national party worth the name" he said in an indirect attack on BJP. He has asserted that only TRS was capable of achieving the 'T' state.

While KCR was subtle in his attack on BJP, Nayani Narasimha Reddy was more vocal. Calling BJP state president Kishan Reddy a kid in politics, Nayani expressed anger at his criticism of TRS. He has questioned why Kishan Reddy had not resigned for Telangana like the TRS legislators. He said Congress party's expulsion of its Telangana MPs was a mere drama to gain electoral benefits in Seemandhra, Nayani has alleged.

Will the wait for 'T' be for another 11 years?

The statement of KCR that his party has fought for eleven years for Telangana and would fight for it for another 11 years if necessary, has given rise to doubts about the creation of Telangana in the near future. Supporting KCR, another senior leader Chandrasekhar has said the fight for Jharkhand was two-decade long. A similar fight might be necessary even for Telangana he said and added that his party was ready for such prolonged fight.

Ramulamma unhappy?

TRS MP Vijaya Shanti appeared to be unhappy that she was not given a chance to speak in the public meeting. She hopped into her car as soon as the meeting was over and sped away to Hyderabad, without waiting for pleasantries with KCR and other leaders. Why has KCR not invited his only MP colleague, that too a glamorous lady leader to address the public meeting has become a topic of discussion in political circles.

Any heroine's agenda before and even after getting into films is to do as many films as she can, make money and once the offers reduced, to get married and settle down, or even to hit the small screen. But, kajalAgarrwal says, she is not here to only do films and make money, 'I want to do as many films as I can. But, I am concerned about what my role in the film is and how far it makes a difference in the film. I have never done a film in which my role is limited to only songs and some sequences. Even in the films of the heroes like Ram CharanTej, N.T.R, Prabhas and Mahesh recently, I had my part in the film. Now, even in B - Town I am keen to accept only these kind of roles. My debut film in Hindi 'Singham' opposite Ajay Devgan has given me a much needed recognition. I motto is to make this attempt work and accept some roles that have a sense in the film as well. this is the reason I have accepted a film opposite Akshay Kumar, in the directorial of one of my most favorite directors who have directed some fantabulous films like 'A Wednesday'… looking forward to more opportunities like this', said the actress who seems to be much confident than earlier about her career…

Of course, why wouldn't she? After all Kajal has some promising roles to do in N.T.R and Mahesh's next flicks and even offers from B - Town are pouring in… on seeing the career graph of this actress we can assume her to make her entry in Hollywood soon

MOVIE: Dammu

Star Cast: NTR, Trisha, Karthika, Kota, Suman, Bhanu Priya, Ali, Brahmanandam, Nasser, Venu Etc

Director: Boyapati Srinu

Music: M M Keeravani

Producer: K Vallabha

Banner: Creative Commercials
Rating: 3/5

Story: 'I waited for 10 years to make a movie with NTR', these are the words  of producer Ks Rama Rao. ' I rejected 10 scripts from Boyapati before signing 'Dammu'',  NTR revealed during the audio function. Director Boyapati promised it would become a industry biggest hit. Let's see how the movie is fared in real.

Movie starts with the rivalry between Suman ( Vasi Reddy) family and Nasser family. Both families indulge in killing others for the supremacy in the village. In the process, everyone in Vasi Reddy family dies making Nasser uncontested villain of the village for the next twenty five years.

Twenty five years passes, Veera Durgam (Kota) adopts Rama Chandra (NTR) an orphan in the city and introduces him to the family and villagers as Vijaya Dwaja Simha , a heir to Vasireddy family. Now it is turn of Vijaya Dwaja Simha to live up to the expectations of family members and villagers.

Rest of the story is how Vijaya Dwaja Simha wins the heart of the people and stops the killings in the village.

Performance: NTR is terrific as Rama Chandra and Vijaya Dwaja Simha. The script demands a one man show and NTR fully justifies it.  He is at his usual best when it comes to dialogue delivery or giving expressions. He carried the heavy weight role with ease.  The dialogue about his political aspiration will please his fans.

Trisha looked older to NTR  while Karthika oozed extra oomph. Both are limited to couple of scenes and songs.

Nasser acted well in villain role. Kota is usual in grandfather role.  Suman and Bhanu Priya acted well in couple of scenes. Venu acted in brother in law role. Ali and Brahmanandam failed to tickle the audience rib bones.

Ahuti Prasad, Vijay Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Ranganath will just a add to the cast list.

Technical:  Boyapati chose a tried and tested story to elevate the image of NTR. The screenplay runs on predictable note. Boyapati Seenu gave mass treatment to a rather simple story. There are enough mass elements to satisfy NTR fans. He is able to show the two different shades of NTR very well. His direction is good in high voltage drama scenes.

Keeravani music is good. Background score should have been better in action sequences. Re-recording is good. O Lilly, Vasthu babgundi with four heroines are visually good while Ruler song disappoints. Choreography is good.

Ram Laxman composed high energetic action sequences. Unfortunately, bloodshed is high. Cinematography by Arthur Wilson is topnotch. M.Ratnam dialogues are powerful and suited very well for the stature of NTR.

Analysis: First thing first, ‘Dammu’ failed to reach the high expectations. Weak story coupled with predictable screenplay hamper the success of the movie at the box office. Boyapati tried to give a message about value of the life in the climax made it weak.

On the positive side, Boyapati should be commended for the way he elevated NTR. The mass elements in the movie will be a feast to NTR fans and for those who like high voltage drama. Unfortunately, director failed to etch any other character well. Lack of drama, comedy, and excessive violence make the movie appeal to a particular section of the audience.

Finally, the movie success depends on how mass audience receives the movie. It is all the way only NTR ‘Dammu’.

Right from the arrest of actress Tara Chowdary in sex racket case, there is a buzz in industry that a film is being made on her biography. Like 'Dirty Picture', this story will also enthrall movie lovers, they say. But, is she really worth of being made into a movie?

The story of Silk Smitha is a true journey of a talented and passionate woman. While Silk's quest for acting made her a big story for a movie, Tara's love for luxuries and illicit acts to obtain them are not even sufficient for news-item. Silk was never involved in selling her body for sex rather renting it to silver-screen. 'Dirty Picture' acquired a cult status for its realistic portrayal of true pain, lust and love.  Critics say that some producers are trying to cash on the heat in Film Nagar, by making a B-grade movie in the name of Tara.

Not only Tara, the stories of proved call girls like Bhuvaneswari, Saira Bhanu and Jyothi combined will not become a 'Dirty Picture', a critic quipped. Vidya Balan's classic acts have propelled Silk Smitha's image as an unfortunate diva with loads of talent, while Tara may not get that status in her life time.

It is a normal tradition to see the hero of any film getting praises from each and every member of the unit. But all of them know that all those praises are not really genuine. And usually if it is the film of a big hero then the praises become double and superficial. But recently, someone spoke frankly about a big hero.

She is the petite beauty Trisha and the person she was referring about was young tiger Jr NTR. Apparently, Trisha paired up with NTR for the film 'Dammu' and she revealed few interesting things. The pretty starlet mentioned that NTR has got an amazing fire inside him to do things differently.

She added that NTR is always keen to do something more and the best part in him is his memory. Of course, she admitted that there is no match for him when it comes to dance and dialogue delivery. All in all, NTR is a master actor is the conclusion. Wonder what NTR has to say about Trisha.

Hyderabad, April 26: Bhanu Kiran, prime accused in the murder of Rayalaseema factionist Maddelacheruvu Suri appears to be disclosing startling facts about his criminal life during the CID interrogation after he was take n into its custody on Wednesday.

He has reportedly told sleuths of the agency that he has financed production of four films – ‘Rakta Charitra 1 & 2’, ‘Komaram Puli’ and ‘Khaleja’ with the settlement money and lost heavily. He has also reportedly admitted to have threatened the owners of the Shalimar Videos and film financier Vijayanthi Reddy after losing money in film production.

He reportedly told the CID that though he had made loads of money through land settlements, he also spent heavily. The daily expenditure of the Suri gang was a whopping Rs. 3 lakhs per day, he reportedly told the sleuths. Wine, women, rich food and heavy payments to gang members cost him heavily he told the investigators. Still, Suri suspected that he was pocketing most of the settlement money and in fact planned to kill him, he alleged.

He is also reported to have told the CID authorities that he and Suri’s sister had met several political leaders lobbying for reduction of his sentence. He has also told the officers that a senior revenue official of RR district and a police officer had cooperated with him in his land settlements. He has reportedly admitted that he had annexed 100 acres of Pedda Cheruvu (water tank) land under survey number 40 of Kachiguda and another 100 acres of government land under survey number 83 of Rayadurgam, with the help of the revenue official. Bhanu has revealed details of several such land grabs he had done with the help of revenue and police officials. ACB sleuths are now checking out facts and gathering information that would stand the scrutiny of the courts.

Meanwhile, politicians and officials who had contacts with the criminal are shivering in their pants, fearing he might expose their own role. CID sleuths are also said to be busy collecting information about the minister who Bhanu said had provided shelter to him.

Hyderabad, April 25: With the Election Commission blowing the whistle for by-polls to one Lok Sabha and 18 Assembly seats, hectic race against time has begun.

The elections being considered as mini-general elections and semi finals for the 2014 general elections will decide the fate of three major runners - Congress, TDP and YSR Congress.

While for the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana debacle in the polls might cost them their seats, for the TDP chief who has been dreaming of once again becoming the Chief Minister, poll defeat might result in his ranks slipping into deep depression. For the YSR Congress chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, defeat would mean that people had believed the charges that his late father Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and he himself were corrupt. But victory in the by-polls is likely to swell his ranks. Some sitting Congress MLAs also might jump into his bandwagon, with the 2014 elections in view.

Of the three parties, it was YSR Congress which needed least preparation, as 17 of the 18 Assembly seats and the Nellore parliament seat were held by its supporters. Jagan did not face the headache of candidate selection as those who have relinquished their seats were YSRC candidates. Jagan has also been in the forefront of the election campaign as he has been with the people ever since his father died and has been continuing his marathon ‘Odarpu Yatra’ which he has instantly transformed as election campaign the minute MLAs supporting him were disqualified. Jumping into the battlefield next to him was Naidu who has already campaigned in some; districts, assailing both the Congress and the YSRC.

While YSRC was way ahead of others in candidate selection, the TDP has also finalized its candidates almost immediately. Congress party despite its own admission during the last by-elections that late selection of candidates had contributed to its debacle had not learnt any lessons and is yet to name its candidates.

Congress is also worried about internal squabbles as always and the Jagan factor. However, TDP is in no better a position. But its only solace would be as none of the seats was its, whatever victory it could achieve would be a bonus. But TDP is not taking these elections lightly, as it had already lost 2 general polls. If it were to win the 2014 elections it would have to win the seats of other parties and not just retain its seats.

For Jagan also the by-polls would be a life-and-death question. Several strong leaders of different parties and even many Congress MLAs are eagerly awaiting his party’s performance so that they could jump into it. If his party wins most of the seats it might mean fall of the Kiran government and a mid-term poll, fulfilling his dream of becoming the Chief Minister. If Jagan fails to win these elections, because of the criminal charges he has been facing, his party might slip into oblivion. Apart from these three political parties, Chiranjeevi also has a stake as the Congress party is expecting him to lead the campaign and win the seats for it. Chiranjeevi was blamed of having neglected his own Tirupati constituency after getting elected from there. He has met with serious dissent from the people of the constituency during his visits there earlier. Will he be able to at least win back his own seat is the question being discussed in political circles.

In Parakala, the only seat in Telangana going to polls in the ensuing by-elections, a complex five-cornered contest is likely, The seat was vacated by Jagan loyalist Konda Surekha. Apart from Congress, TDP and YSRC, TRS and BJP also would be throwing their hats in the ring in this constituency. TRS and BJP would once again be colliding head-on in this seat, because both have left the Telangana issue to the winds and started concentrating on strengthening themselves in the name of Telangana. For Jagan, ensuring the victory of Surekha is a moral responsibility as she has quit the cabinet in support of his father and the Assembly seat in his support.

Faction leader Suri's murder, 800 crore rupees settlements and financing top directors' movies is not a big deal for AP people. Because we have seen much bigger scams and murders than these interesting things. But, what is drawing the attention of everyone is the presence of two top heroines in Bhanu's illegal deeds.

Apparently, two big-wigs of the state are trying hard to stop the popping out of names of these two top heroines. Sources are saying that Bhanu has revealed the names of those two starlets to CID sleuths already. Rumor is that Bhanu has blackmailed one of the star heroine with dire consequences unless until she ends up in bed with Suri. And, after Suri's horror, the heroine was asked to give pleasure to top class bureaucrats who in turn helps Suri-Bhanu gang in land settlements. The other heroine is said to be an easy going girl who comes as an escort for money. Don't get tempted, the pay cheque should be more than fifty lakhs to one crore, say sources.

Already, media is speculating the names of these two girls indirectly and most people have understood it by now. Suspicions are pointed toward these two girls as they are not signing any Telugu movie after Suri got killed. Otherwise, if they are victims, then police may use them as evidences to hammer Don Bhanu. Observers are saying that situation may not reach that stage as the persons shielding them are the most wanted persons of Andhra Pradesh!

The TV premiere of National Award-winning film 'The Dirty Picture' has been stalled by the government on Sunday, despite undergoing 36 voluntary and 26 compulsory cuts and acquiring an U/A certificate from the Censor Board. Actually, the film was scheduled to be aired at afternoon and 8 pm in Sony TV. But the Information and Broadcasting ministry stopped the screening by asking channel to skip the prime time and air the film after 11 pm. Producer Ekta Kapoor, who is upset over stalling the screening, expressed her anger on the social networking site. "We can show rape, an 8-year old's marriage to 40 year old, we can show reality/comedy shows with vulgar content but we can't show a liberal womans story who lived life on her own terms-truly this is our nations DIRTY PICTURE!," she wrote. The Dirty Picture is based on the story of southern siren Silk Smitha. The film which was being made on a moderate budget of Rs 8 crore went on to collect over Rs 100 crore at the Box Office. It also bagged three National Awards and the film's lead star Vidya Balan won the National Award for Best Actress. Surpisingly, a National Award film is not permitted a national telecast!

Vijayawada, April 19 : Former MLA and Kapu leader Vangaveeti Radhakrishna on Thursday said that he has made up his mind to join the YSR Congress Party on April 27.

Talking to media persons at a private hotel in the city, Radhakrishna said that he took this decision after consulting his well wishers and family members.

Radhakrishna, a first time MLA from Vijayawada East Assembly constituency in 2004, said that his late father Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga has worked relentlessly for the Congress party since 1984.

However, despite working hard for strengthening the party, he alleged that the Congress party failed to recognize his services and his family members.

Stating that former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's family members were also facing the similar fate in the Congress, he said there was no recognition for genuine workers in the Congress party.

He said that the Telugu Desam Party and Congress parties were targeting YS Jagan Mohan Reddy unable to digest his growing popularity among the people.

Radhakrishna said that he would work as loyal worker in the YSR Congress party and try to bring the party to power in the ensuing elections. Responding to a question on contesting the ensuing by-elections, he said that Jagan would take a decision on this issue.

Radhakrishna has been maintaining silence after having contested unsuccessfully on the Praja Rajyam ticket from Vijayawada East Assembly in 2009 elections.

Though he was one of the early birds to join the PRP, Radhakrishna deferred with the party leaders when the PRP merged with the Congress. Since then, he kept the political circles guessing on his future course of action.

Raviteja was considered as one of the safe bet heroes in Telugu cinema until a year ago. But a series of flop movies raised enough doubts on him to the buyers. Raviteja's downfall started with Dongala Mutha, a film that Raviteja should've never done. Later it was followed up by Veera which was a bigger debacle in terms of financial returns.

Earlier this year Raviteja tasted the flop of his career with Nippu. With this movie, Raviteja lost the trust of audience as well as business circles. Previously Raviteja used to be the savior for films with average content. With growing age and declining energy levels, he is not the same Raviteja now. Being monotonous is showing ominous signs already.

His upcoming film Daruvu has no takers in few key regions. A year ago his films used to sell like hot cakes. But times have changed now and how fast! Daruvu is turning out to be Baruvu for its producers as buyers are not showing any interest in this film with so many biggies in the fray. They will have to wait for the right time or should release the film on their own if they want to take advantage of summer holidays. That should be risky unless Daruvu is a minimum guarantee mass film.

Pawan Kalyan was seen heartily laughing when Chiranjeevi uttered Gabbar Singh dialogue. Although there is some sort of uneasiness visible in the body language of mega brothers, for now we can believe that all is well between them.

But it looks everything is not fine between Pawan Kalyan and Allu Aravind. The mega producer never fails to attend any mega events, especially when Chiru attends. He was not seen at Gabbar Singh audio launch. Aravind's son Arjun attended the event, but Pawan Kalyan didn't look alright while he was speaking.

Pawan was uneasily moving in his chair and didn't pay attention to Arjun's speech. He didn't bother to give an ear to him. Arjun attended Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu launch, but he went to the spot only after Pawan left. At Gabbar Singh audio launch Bunny is not as close to Pawan as he used to be in the past.

Sensational episode of Tara Chowdary sex racket and secret videos is finally silenced with no one raking up the issue. Even Tara got silenced by accepting all her mistakes and agreeing the same in a confession statement.

Like all sleazy sensations, this episode of Tara Chowdary too buried under the hands of power and money. Police too remained tight lipped about the whole issue and are not at all showing interest to reveal the names of politicians and celebrities associated with her. Reports say that a strong warning is given to Tara to not spill beans about persons otherwise it would cost her life. She simply confessed to the misdeeds she has done and agreed to go 'innocent' once she is released.

Had she dared to go a step ahead revealing the names of politicians in her tapes, our sleazy leaders might have got grilled by now. This seems the message from Congress leaders for the people of Andhra and Rayalseema to vote for them in by-polls. Congress leaders like Lagadapati, Sailajanath and TG Venkatesh are indirectly hinting a 'no telangana'.

A couple of days back, Lagadapati confused the voters of Andhra region with his talks related to Telangana. Now, TG Venkatesh and Sailajanath started preaching that Jagan is an associate of TRS, so he will split state into two if given power. Political observers are reading a different message in these words. Jagan will split state if comes into power, but what will congress do when they get it. Will they stop the bifurcation of state by saying no to Telangana demand?

T-leaders of Congress are now worried about the stand of the ruling party and their future in the region. Some say that Congress will play this card until they win 18 seats and will delay solving all the problems once they bag power. Congress should give clarity!

In the name of celebrating Dalit food culture, some student associations of Osmania University have organized a 'beef festival'. More than a celebrating event, it has turned violent which lead to pelting of stones and torching vehicles.

With support from SFI and PDSU, Telangana Students Union announced this 'Beef Festival' last month, which is being opposed by ABVP students. When the festival has begun with the serving of 'beef' biryani, ABVP protesters have attacked them with stones and it lead to torching of two vehicles and injuring many. At the time when curfew is going on in Old city due to the communal clashes that erupted when miscreants hurled beef meat at Hanuman temples, this 'Beef Festival' has shocked many. Though police and paramilitary forces controlled the situation on time, 'beef festival' seemed more as madness than mockery.

When the whole world is heading into new dimension, we are again dividing ourselves in the name of 'Dalit' food, feels a social activist. 'Beef has nothing to do with Dalits or other downtrodden communities, these days many meat lovers are eating it', he adds. In the name of celebrating culture, we are creating more rifts and unnecessary divides in society!

Pawan Kalyan's visit to the hill-shrines, Tirumala and Simhachalam, on Sunday has caused severe inconvenience to the devotees. Being a hoiliday, thousands thronged temples to offer prayers and most of them were unaware of the visit of the star.

On the other hand, thousands of fans gathered at both the temples to have a glimpse of the actor. The enthusiasm of fans in Simhachalam resulted in a stampede causing serious injuries to two persons and a minor injury to Pawan. Making things worse, several supporters of the actor entered the Temple without removing their footwear, which hurt the sentiments of the devotees.

According to the sources, security provided to the star wasn't sufficient to control the massive crowd. The devotees, who were annoyed with the security arrangements, blamed the actor and temple authorities for the inconvenience. 'A low key visit may have been a better option,' is what they opine. Pawan has learnt a lesson from Yesterday's incident and let's wish he wouldn't repeat the mistake again!

Chief Minister is adapting more and more ways of late CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy to make Congress victorious at any cost. His each and every step is remembrance of YSR's strategy before 2004 polls.

Not only he is showering gifts on people, he is following them to their homes to check how various government's welfare schemes are getting implemented. At every colony he visits, at every house he graces, CM is received warmly and he too is promising them roads and facilities without any second thought. Scenes like people giving him coconunt water and thriving to shake their hands with him became a common sight like in Rajasekhara Reddy's 2004 'paada yatra'.

While a decision is yet to be made regarding using YSR's image, Kiran is using this as an option basing on the people around him. Most of the time, he is staying neutral about ex-CM though he is bashing out Jagan and TDP chief Chandrababu. Senior leaders of party are shocked with these crowd pulling stunts of Kiran and are worried if by chance Congress wins in these by-polls, he will get full credit.

When the court questioned as to why they have nabbed only Vijaysai leaving all other accused in charge sheet, investigation agency responded firmly.

'Only Vijaysai alone has the capacity to cause hurdles to the course of investigation. We've enough evidences to support our argument', said CBI. Court has adjourned the proceedings to Wednesday, while CBI is fully confident that Vijayasai's bail will be cancelled soon.

Some comedians take a long time to get good break irrespective of their top notch performances. One such example is fat and short comedian Suman Shetty.

Suman Shetty debuted with hit superhit movie 'Jayam' long back. It took many years for him to establish as a happening comedian but he never enjoyed the lime light. Personal security staff of media baron Ramoji Rao and TDP supporters tried to attack media persons on Tuesday when journalists clicked photographs during his attendance in the fourth additional chief metropolitan court in a cheating case in Visakhapatnam.

When Ramoji Rao and his son Kiran Kumar attended the court, suddenly some supporters of the media baron started raising slogans and when the lawyers asked them to be calm, the mob tried to attack the lawyers and media persons.

One Mr Aditya Krishna Varma filed a cheating case against Ramoji Rao. The complaint is that Mr Ramoji Rao took the land of Varma for lease for 33 years and without his knowledge, surrendered part of the land to the authorities for road widening. When the government gave alternative piece of land to Ramoji Rao, he got it registered in his name with out the knowledge of Varma.

Varma said that Ramoji Rao had surrendered 872 square yards of land to the municipal corporation and claimed an equivalent amount of land. Alleging that Mr Rao claimed the land by submitting a false affidavit, Varma filed a case in the Three Town police station.

Rao went to the high court seeking dismissal of the case but his plea was rejected. His plea that he should be exempted from attending the court personally was also rejected by the court.

A large number of people, who arrived at the court in vehicles soon after Ramoji Rao entered the court premises, behaved rudely with the lawyers and media personnel. They took away the camera of a TV channel and smashed it on the ground. Media personnel later gave a complaint to the police.

Surprising though it may look, Tollywood is abuzz with rumours that young
Young rebel Prabhas marrying naughty Kajal

Young rebel Prabhas marrying naughty Kajal

rebel star Prabhas and lovely and charming girl Kajal are in love with each other and are soon getting married.
Prabhas, Kajal, marriage, loveThe news is that love was generated between Prabhas and Kajal during the shooting of the hit movie ‘Darling’ and as the shooting progressed, their love also flourished. “Because they are getting married, the shooting of the movie ‘Mr Perfect’ was launched immediately,” is the talk of the Tollywood streets.

If you remember well, the pair of Kollywood action hero Surya and heroine Jyothika also faced such rumours before their marriage in Chennai. But, they proved the gossip was not just the gossip but a practical reality.

Unit members who worked on the sets of ‘Darling’ said that the pair of Prabhas and Kajal seemed to be deeply immersed in love even during the shooting of that movie and both of them looked absent minded during the shoot. “Like a hero and heroine in a dream song of a movie, this pair also used to dream during the shooting of ‘Darling,’” said a technician who worked for this movie.

We have to wait for either confirmation or denial of this news by either of the pair and we should only wish them to continue in their hallucinations of love without any interruption till then. Good luck to Prabhas and Kajal!
