Unless if it is for worst film and actor category, difference of opinions always exist in award nominees. Not an Oscar is exception when Leonardo Dicaprio fans disagreed giving away the best actor award to other actors though he was nominated for five times previously.

Needless to mention the recent controversy on National awards, when Vikram fans vented their anger and frustration on social platforms for giving away the national award for best actor to Amitabh Bachchan. Even Mahesh's 'hacked' tweets raked up a controversy, when tweets blamed MAA for not nominating him in best actor category for Businessman.

Now, fresh discussions and heated arguments are gaining a lot of attention for another award nomination, in the biggest film awards event of South Indian films, SIIMA. The nominations in Best Actor category have not gone well with NTR fans, as they ask if their favourite actor's Temper performance was not enough to get him nominated.

Well, when we approached SIIMA if they want to spare a thought about jury's decision, Chairperson of SIIMA, Mrs. BRINDA PRASAD ADUSUMILLI responded and her words sounded reasonable..

"We have high regards for NTR and we also consider him as one of the Best Actors of this generation. But Nominations are selected on various parameters and this year had many great films and with no disrespect to anyone the committee has finalised these 5 nominations. We are sorry that we couldn't accommodate NTR this year in the Top 5 Nominations. Thank you for taking your time and writing to us".

"Sure we will definitely put in a strong recommendation to the committee and we genuinely feel he did a great job in Nannaku Prematho".

They have a valid point here and let us see if NTR's Nannaku Prematho makes some noise by this time next year. And the excitement has already begun for the event of glittering night of stars at Singapore this time, on June 30th and July 1st. Have you voted yet?

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has asked the Centre to ensure that the common entrance exam NEET for MBBS and dental courses is "not forced" on it even in the future as its implementation would "nullify" certain policy initiatives and socio-economic objective of the state.

While thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi for "speedy promulgation" of an ordinance yesterday, providing exemption from NEET this academic year, she said, "For the time being, it put at rest the mental agony, stress and anxiety of lakhs of students and their parents aspiring for medical admission for the current year in the state quota."

In a letter to Modi yesterday, which was released today, Jayalalithaa said although the ordinance would temporarily address the issue for the current year, Tamil Nadu's "situation is distinct and different from other states."

She recalled that her government had taken a number of steps since 2005 for systematising admission process to medical seats, even abolishing entrance exams by way of a legislation which she said was even upheld by the Court.

"This measure was taken keeping in view the interests of students, particularly from the weaker sections and rural areas, to ensure that a level playing field is created."

"Introduction of NEET would be a direct infringement on the rights of the State and would cause grave injustice to the students of Tamil Nadu who have already been covered by a fair and transparent admission policy laid down by the Government of Tamil Nadu, which has been working well," she said.

Jayalalithaa urged Modi that necessary measures be taken to ensure that Tamil Nadu was permitted to "continue (with) its existing fair and transparent system of admission to medical colleges and dental colleges in the state and not forced to implement the NEET even in the future."

Rural students and those from poorer socio-economic backgrounds will be unable to compete with urban elite students in such Common Entrance Examinations, which were designed to favour the urban elite, she said.

Jayalalithaa said rural students will be put to great disadvantage because they lack the resources to enrol in training institutions and access materials available to urban students, she said, adding, a large number of socially and economically backward meritorious rural students had benefited by the state Government's decision to abolish entrance exam.

Further, for admission to Postgraduate medical courses, Tamil Nadu government gave preference to those who had served in rural areas, with special weightage for those working in hilly and tribal areas, she said.

"The State Government has also successfully obtained and enforced bonds from those completing Postgraduate education in Government Medical Colleges to serve the state government for a minimum period, which has helped us to meet the need for specialist medical manpower in Government Hospitals."

"Introduction of NEET would nullify the implementation of these policy initiatives and socio-economic objectives of the State, as the regulations for a National Test may not have such enabling provisions. The national test is out of tune with the prevailing socio-economic milieu and administrative requirements of Tamil Nadu," she said.

Pawan Kalyan's "Sardaar Gabbbar Singh" has flopped badly although it received more than Rs 50 cr share. The distributors of all areas have lost heavily.
Pawan Kalyan reportedly will give the rights of his current movie to be directed by S J Surya to the same distributors in all areas. It is said that it is Pawan Kalyan's idea that this film should be sold to the same distributors.
Not only that Pawan Kalyan reportedly spoke to all distributors and promised that they would given the prime priority. Hence, no distributor has made any statement against the film despite losing heavily.
This is one reason that Pawan Kalyan is working with his producer friend Sharat Marar again after 'Sardaar Gabbbar Singh'. If this film is produced by another producer, he would sell the movie to his choice of distributors.
S J Surya's movie will commence its regular shoot next month in Pollachi. The film features Shruti Haasan as the main heroine. A Tamil heroine might act as second female lead.

It is a common practice that whenever Super star film actors make a public appearance, the crowds go crazy. When it is the level of Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan, the situation gets even more worse as the hero has huge popularity all over the world. -

But during his return from London some thing unusual happened as the star hero was completely unrecognized by everyone at the train station in central London. Even though SRK was with his wife, not even a single person paid head and failed to recognize the star.

Generally, this never happens as SRK is hugely popular all over London. SRK was there for his son's graduation along with his wife Gauri Khan. Hrudaya Kaleyam introduced Sampoornesh Babu to Telugu screen that has made a name for himself with his spoofs and funny antics.
Later he has featured in few other films in guest characters and also played lead role in Singham 123 that was written and produced by Manchu Vishnu.
Sampoo failed to recreate his Hrudaya Kaleyam magic again as he got repetitive and boring. Now the team that has made Hrudaya Kaleyam is coming up with Kobbari Matta in which Sampoornesh plays not one but three roles.
The first teaser of Kobbari Matta was launched by Sai Dharam Tej. The teaser is claimed to be the longest teaser ever.

In this 157 seconds teaser Sampoornesh appeared in a getup reminiscent of Rajinikanth in Pedarayudu. There is a two minute length monologue by Sampoornesh in this teaser. The dialogue is an attempt to make fun of women and their day to day activities. Although the dialogue was supposed to be funny it turned out to be farcical.
Nothing in the teaser was funny and it was sheer torture to see it till the end. Hope they don’t release a thirty minute trailer for the sake of setting some record.

Thank you Angoorlataji, Thank you Modiji. 1st time I love politics". Now the MLA came out condemning those lewd comments.

Angoorlata wanted to use her celebrity status to serve people and do what she can do to better the society around her and she asked the people who are commenting to grow intellectually. She said that people have gone to Mars, but their mindsets have not changed.

She refused to react much on these unexpected sexist comments. She wants to move on with her intentions in becoming a member of legislative assembly and comfortably ignore vulgar objectification.
