Mani Sharma Out Of Brahmotsavam?

Superstar Mahesh Babu's Brahmotsavam is gearing up for release on May 20th. Since the release date is not far away, the production unit is working hard to wrap up remaining works. Mahesh Babu has completed dubbing for his role and DTS works for the film begins today.

As per reliable sources, yesteryear composer Mani Sharma who was roped into score background music for Brahmotsavam is opted out of the movie owing to unknown reasons. Mickey J Meyer who has rendered songs for the film is working on re-recording too.

Ace composer Gopi Sundar who has worked for PVP Cinemas previous film Oopiri is said to be working on BGM for a key episode in Brahmotsavam.

Mani Sharma had provided rocking albums for Mahesh Babu earlier and the former worked on background score for the latter's previous film SVSC. More than his captivating songs composition, Mani Sharma gained fame for his tremendous work on re-recording.

Unfortunately, Mani Sharma missed out to work for Brahmotsavam. However, Gopi Sundar's additional RR for Brahmotsavam will be a biggest boon for the flick. -

Preity Zinta ABUSED her IPL team?

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta was hugely upset with the way her IPL team Kings XI Punjab lost a crucial match against Bangalore the other day. But the news which has caught up all over is the behavior of team owner Preity Zinta.

Going into details of the reports, after the match was done, Preity apparently stormed the Punjab dug out and started hurling abuses at Sanjay Bangar, the head coach of Punjab. The star actress not only stopped at this but used the 'F' word several times and insulted Sanjay in front of his entire team.

Even though Sanjay tried to put up a straight face and argued with her, Preity crossed the line and used the cuss word and also threatened to sack Sanjay from his post.

Left with no other go, Sanjay left the dug out and went back into the dressing room. Preity Zinta's team are struggling hard to make a move in the tournament and this has led the star actress furious. - S

Rayudu Avoids Clash with Mahesh!

Vishal is going to avoid clash with Superstar Mahesh Babu whose Brahmotsavam is releasing on May 20. Initially, Vishal wanted to release Rayudu simultaneously in Tamil (Marudhu) and Telugu on 20th. But given that biggie Brahmotsavam is arriving, Vishal is now contemplating to step back in Telugu whereas the original film will release in Tamil as per the schedule.

Apparently, Vishal will be seen a coolie in the film and he would be mouthing the dialogues in Anantapur slang.

Featuring Sri Divya, of Mallela Teeramlo Sirimalle Puvvu fame, as female lead, Rayudu is billed to be a mass entertainer directed by Mutthayya. Vishal is pretty confident on the film's subject and he himself has produced the original whereas he is releasing the film in Telugu. The film's release date in Telugu is yet to be finalised. -

It is the most scariest thing ever, when you are walking alone in late hours and know that a serial killer is out there killing without a motive, as he likes killing people with sharp weapons or bludgeoning them to death.

Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap made a movie Raman Raghav 2.0 from this spine chilling story of a serial killer from 1960's, Raman Raghav, who loves to kill people and most of his victims were homeless and poor of Bombay suburbs.

Anurag Kashyap released the thrilling trailer of his movie Raman Raghav 2.0, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Raghav and Vicky Kaushal as corrupt police officer on hunt for this serial killer. Adding a little spice to real story, the director introduced a story where the corrupt police and mad killer cross their paths. Nawazuddin takes over everyone in a three minute trailer with his convincing performance as serial killer and his madness to kill.

Raghav confessed to killing 41 people in span of two years from 1966 and showed police the weapons he hid and used for killings. Raghav was arrested at one time when he killed around 9 people and injured more than 10, but set free due to lack of evidence. Raghav went on killing spree from then and spread scare across the city with his gruesome killings. After wide manhunt, Duputy commissioner Ramakant was able to arrest him out of suspicion and they could extract nothing out of him until they offered him chicken dish to eat. Raghav died in 1987 while serving life term.

Niharika Wants Chiru, Will He Make It?

Mega cousins Ram Charan and Allu Arjun are gracing Mega girl Niharika's debut film Oka Manasu audio launch event to be held on May 18th in Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad. Varun Tej and Sai Dharam Tej are also expected to attend the event, along with few other mega family members.

It is heard that, Niharika wants her peddananna Chiranjeevi to attend the event, but the megastar hasn't confirmed yet, whether he will make it for the function or not. If Chiru graces the event, then buzz will be multiplied for the project. Moreover, Niharika will get support from all mega fans. And, power star Pawan Kalyan who doesn't show up for public events is not attending Oka Manasu audio release function too.

In fact, Chiranjeevi is busy with works for his 150th film tentatively titled Kathilantodu which is being helmed by VV Vinayak. The film that was formally launched recently will go on floors soon. So, if Chiru gets free time, he has qualms in attending the event.

Coming to Oka Manasu, the film starring Naga Shourya in lead role is being directed by Rama Raju and produced by Madhura Sreedhar in association with TV 9, Abhinay and Dr Krishna Bhatta. The romantic saga is due for release soon.

Vikram All Praise For Ajay

Most of our film makers run behind actors from other languages but Telugu Film Industry has many talented artists. Nevertheless, most of them remain underutilized. Actor Ajay is one such underrated actor in Tollywood.

During his early days, he acted as a side-kick to actors like Mahesh and Prabhas. Ace director Rajamouli recognized his talent and gave him the role of 'Titla' in 'Vikramarkudu'. He was lauded by everyone for his deadly act in that film. Though he did not get proper roles after that, he was selected for a full length role in Suriya's '24'. The film's director Vikram Kumar earlier worked with him in 'Ishq' and during the success meet of '24', he praised Ajay equally with Suriya.

He said that Ajay is an actor who can perform any character effortlessly and all he needs to get are some good roles. Hope that Ajay gets some interesting characters here too in the coming days and proves his mettle. -

The first-look and teaser of this film is expected to release on May 20th. 'As the producers are from abroad, they planned to conduct the event in New Jersey' says the source close to the unit. As New Jersey has a lot of Telugu population, it is ideal for holding a grand event. Devi Sri Prasad will be performing live at the event along with his team said the source. Reports say that the team is already making necessary arrangements to promote the film aggressively here and in abroad too.

USA: Five Year Old Shoots Herself

This is not any first incident that resulted in death of innocent kids, while playing with weapons kept at home for self defense. These kind of accidents happen too often in USA. A five year old girl in Detroit shot herself with a self defense intended revolver and lost life after getting severely injured.

Maria Davis was playing at her grand mother's residence and happened to find a revolver under a pillow. She accidentally shot herself while playing with it and doctors declared her dead at hospital. Her grandmother was busy with household work while Maria and two other kids were playing.

Police were investigating into it for carelessness of old lady and why she left her revolver loaded and unlocked. Fortunately, the other two kids playing with Maria were not injured. -

In a shocking yet weird incident, a leading heroine demanded for medical tests and concerned reports on a Tamil hero health, when she was asked to kiss him on lips.

This top heroine was asked to lock lips of a Tamil hero and she tried to be extra cautious by asking medical reports to find if he has any Hepatitis B, that easily transmits through blood and saliva. She reportedly stated to director that she is going to kiss his lips only if she sees the medical reports.

TEA's 2016 “Learn How to Profit from Growing DFW Real Estate Market” event received a very positive and enthusiastic response from the community in Dallas, Texas.

(TEA) A non-profit 501(c) volunteer based organization established in 2010 in Dallas, Texas, U.S.A.

TEA’s organizational goals, aims, and objectives are geared towards wealth creation through entrepreneurship. TEA focus is to Foster Entrepreneurship among Telugu community and with a special focus on fostering entrepreneurship among Youth and Woman Globally.

Telugu Entrepreneurs’ Association (TEA) successfully conducted seminar on “Learn How to Profit from Growing DFW Real Estate Market” in Dallas, Texas May, 08 2016 at Desi Plaza event center.

About 150 enthusiastic current and future real estate investors and promoters attended the event. Attendees felt that they learnt a lot in the 2 hours’ session than they would have learnt by themselves in few years. They commended the presenters on sharing their expertise and experiences that are much needed for investor at any level.

The purpose of the event was to discuss the various real estate opportunities in the DFW market as well as discuss the dos and don’ts of real estate investing.

The event was kicked off by founder and chairman, Mr. Gurram Srinivas Reddy, who shared with the attendees the objective of TEA and his vision. He thanked Sinu Pohar, Suresh Vuluvala and Pratap Bhimreddy the past Presidents and their teams who helped to execute his vision from 2010 to 2015.

Mrs. Pallavi Thotakura, the current Vice President played the MC role for the event.

Mr. Raja Pabba, President of TEA Dallas Chapter for the year 2016 welcomed the attendees and shared the plans for the year ahead. He emphasized the need for TEA being the platform for current and future entrepreneurs.

Specifically he laid out 5 step agenda to improve TEA’s presence and reach within the Dallas Fort Worth community.

Mr. Mahesh Gajjala, started the presentation part of the session by sharing his experiences and framework on how an investor can get into commercial development projects. He shared key elements of successful commercial development venture.

Followed by Mahesh was Mr. Shawn Goff, founder of Graham Hart Home Builders, who presented on how the stock market returns varied with the real estate sector. His presentation was filled with many golden nuggets of data and information that would help real estate investors. He also, shared the demand and supply of homes as well as profitability of different real estate players in the value chain. His presentation forced the attendees glue to their seats.

Mr. Sinu Pohar, past TEA President, and successful investor and realtor shared the market demographics and a perspective on “pre-owned” homes. He shared a model that shows how to calculate or measure investor return with a specific example. Many attendees were awe struck looking at the model and have felt that they learnt a lot from this session.

Based on active participation from the attendees a dedicated panel was setup by the presenters to answer questions from the attendees. Speakers answered multiple questions ranging different areas of real estate investments also sharing their personal experience and opinions.

The entrepreneurs and business men and women in attendance were glued to their seats throughout the presentation. All speakers gave a call for more attendees to take advantage of the organization by involving more and volunteering their time.

Puri Jagannadh Not To Produce Movies

Three distributors trying to attack Puri Jagannadh at his office has sent shock waves in Tollywood. Although Puri Jagannadh is not producer of "Loafer", the distributors demanding money from him for the losses has made industry worry.

Hence all the biggies are lending support to Puri Jagannadh. Director Puri has already filed a case against three distributors - Sudheer, Abhishek and Mutyala Ramadass, who threatened him and his family members.

Puri Jagannadh is in financial mess as he has lost huge money by producing movies and also wasting the money for his "personal joyful exercises". He has now stopped producing movies on his banner.

Puri Jagannadh will be working with other producers for remuneration. His next film with Kalyan Ram is to be produced by the Nandamuri hero himself.

Puri is also directing a movie called "Rogue" introducing a new hero and for which he is being paid whopping Rs 10 Cr as remuneratio

Indrani's ex-driver wants to be approver

In a new twist to the Sheena Bora murder case, key accused Indrani Mukerjea’s former driver Shyamvar Rai on Wednesday sought to turn approver. He said he wants to “disclose all truths” as he had taken part in her killing by strangulation.
Recording his statement before a special CBI court here, Rai said he was under “no pressure, threat or coercion” to reveal the facts of the case and was “repentant” about his act.

The development came after Rai, an accused, wrote a two-page letter to the court last week seeking pardon in the case while stating that he wants to reveal the truth. On Wednesday, when Special Judge H S Mahajan called Rai in the box, he said, “I am aware about the acts connected with the commission of the offence.”

The judge questioned Rai if he had written the letter from the jail to which he replied in the affirmative. When the judge asked how Rai knew about the incident, he replied, “I was present at the time of murder and was a participant.”

He also told the court that Sheena was killed by strangulation. The court later directed CBI to file its reply on May 17 over Rai’s plea to turn approver in the case. It also asked Thane Jail Superintendent and Thane Police Commissioner to ensure that Rai is produced in the court for the next hearing.

Indrani, her husband Peter Mukerjea and her former husband Sanjeev Khanna were present in court as Rai’s statement was being recorded.

Won’t affect case

However, their lawyers said that even if the court accepts Rai’s plea and makes him an approver, their case won’t be affected.

Indrani’s lawyer Mahesh Jethmalani refused to comment on the fresh turn in the case, saying he will first have to go through Rai’s statement. Rai was the first accused to be arrested in the case in August 2015. The killing came to light after Rai was picked up in connection with an arms case and later spilled the beans.

Desai enters Haji Ali Dargah in Mumbai

Rights activist Trupti Desai today entered Mumbai's Haji Ali Dargah to offer prayers amid tight security, saying her struggle was for gender equality.
"At the Dargah, I prayed that women be allowed to enter the inner sanctum, as was the case till 2011," Bhumata Ranragini Brigade chief Desai said, after coming out of the Dargah.

"Police cooperated with us this time. This is a fight for gender equality. We will try to visit the inner sanctum next time," she said.

Desai and other women activists were earlier denied entry to the Dargah last month.

After campaign for entry of women in Shani Shingnapur and Trimbakeshwar temples in Maharashtra, Desai had taken her movement for gender equality to the famous Dargah in Mumbai.

She was stopped short of going into the shrine on April 28 by protestors.

With latest opinion polls indicating a tight presidential race between Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump and his potential Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, the White House has said that the stakes are too high to take this election lightly.
"The stakes are too high to take this election lightly," White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said yesterday.

Hosting a presidential election every four years means that American people have an opportunity to weigh in on who is going to lead the country and who, in fact, is going to lead the free world.

"So, the stakes of this election are high. The President (Barack Obama) believes that the outcome is critically important," Earnest said while responding to a question on some latest opinion polls which say that it is a tight race between Trump, 69, and Clinton, 68.

"Regardless of what predictions are made about the outcome at this point, the President will be fully engaged in making an argument about having a successor that's committed to building on the progress that we've made over the last seven or eight years," Earnest said.

Obama, he said, has had ample opportunities already this year to talk about how important this upcoming election.

"In fact, the election is so important that the President expects, over the course of the summer and certainly into the fall, to be dedicating a significant portion of his time to engaging in the debate around the election.

"And the President does have a strong desire to be succeeded by someone who is committed to building on all of the important progress that we've made over the last seven or eight years. And that I think will be the nature of the President's involvement and the argument that he hopes to make," Earnest added.

Power star Pawan Kalyan is currently enjoying his holiday trip. As soon as he returns, he will start SJ Surya's film. Now, the makers are focusing on the casting aspect of the film and trying to select a beauty who will be paired with Pawan.

Earlier, Malayalam actress Parvathy Menon was rumoured to act in this film but the makers condemned the news. The latest update is that, Pawan will be pairing with her lucky heroine Shruti Hassan in this film. Shruti acted alongside Pawan in 'Gabbar Singh', which was a blockbuster hit for Power star after many years. After a disaster like 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh', Pawan needs a blockbuster this time to please his fans.

That is the reason why the makers seemed interested in roping Shruti for this faction based love saga. However, the final decision is left to Pawan, who will return to India shortly.

Dubbing Fever Hits This Week

This summer has been totally occupied by big scale films. Film makers planned perfectly and maintained at least a gap of two weeks in between each movie. With this, no other medium ranged films dared to arrive this summer.

Last Friday, two films 'Supreme' and '24' were released. The next big release is 'Brahmotsavam' which will hit the screens on 20th May. This weekend, there is no other Telugu film releasing. Trying to cash this opportunity, a handful of dubbing films are getting released. Of them GV Prakash-Sri Divya's 'Pencil' and Vijay Anthony's 'Bichagaadu' are notable.

Other dubbing films hitting the screens this week are Siva Karthikeyan's 'Kedi Billa...Khiladi Ranga', 'Rahadaari', 'Strawberry' and 'Teenage'.

With the vacuum created by biggies, dubbing films are getting enough time to hit the screens and bring profits. -

Last time, Sunny acted in a kissing sequence was in Ragini MMS 2 and post that, she hasn't kissed any of her co-stars. In fact, her recently released films like Ek Paheli Leela, Kuch Kuch Locha Hai, Mastizaade and One Night Stand, didn't have Sunny kissing any of her co-stars, although she was seen getting intimate with them in these films.

Bollywood filmmakers are now in confusion with Sunny Leone's statement and are finding difficulty to design intimate sequences which shouldn't have male stars kissing the bombshell.

Meanwhile, Sunny Leone is filming for Rajeev Chaudary's Beiimaan Love. She will next appear in Raees opposite Shah Rukh Khan in a special song.

Kajal shocked with deep lip kiss?

Kajal Aggarwal is in much news these days for her Hindi film Do Lafzon Ki Kahaani. The star actress faced an unusual situation when her co-star Randeep Hooda got carried away and smooched her during an emotional scene in Kajal upcoming Hindi film Do Lafzon Ki Kahaani.

Interesting aspect is that Kajal was not briefed about the kiss earlier and when the camera rolled, she was shocked when Randeep in fact landed a deep lip kiss on her. Stunned with this Kajal immediately cut the scene and confronted her director and asked him to delete the scene right away.

An upset Kajal, told the director Deepak Tijori that the kiss was not there in the contract and she has a healthy following in the south which will be maligned after watching this intimate scene.

Left with no choice, Deepak Tijori deleted the scene and re shot it in a simple manner. Even though Kajal hails from Mumbai and has kissed stars like Mahesh, Bunny in the past, we wonder why she opted out on this one. -

The wedding gala is over and its honeymoon hungama of Bollywood's most talked couple Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu. The couple have headed to Maldives for a beach-side honeymoon and here is a picture of Bipasha Basu, stunning as usual.

Karan himself shared this picture of his lovely love and looks like he could never take his eyes off her! Well, the couple is heard to have decided Mauritius as honeymoon destination, given their love for beaches and now they are even planning to extend it to US beaches too!

Samantha's Thrilling U-Turn

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is mostly picking commercial films off late. As per a known, the actress is willing to do female oriented movies. She has already signed Telugu-Tamil remake of Kannada mystery thriller film U Turn that will hit the screens on 20th May.

Pawan Kumar, who made the original and directed a path breaking film Lucia, will direct the remake versions. Samantha will play an investigative journalist in the film. The Ye Maaya Chesave starlet went Bangalore recently only to watch the film U Turn, and she was pleased with outcome of the project. Since then, she is keen on starring in remake version of this movie.

It is also heard that, Samantha is not too happy doing glam doll roles mostly in star hero movies. In fact, she hasn't done a heroine-centric film till date, wherein her co-stars like Nayanthara, Anushka Shetty, Trisha, Anjali etc. are mostly signing thrilling subjects which will have scope to perform.

Interim, Samantha is working for young tiger Jr NTR starrer Janatha Garage being helmed by Koratala Siva. Her upcoming films A.Aa.. and Brahmotsavam are slated to release in few weeks gap. While the Srikanth Addala directed movie will see lights on May 20th, the Trivikram Srinivas directorial will hit the screens on June 3rd. -

Hero Writing For His Own Film

Actor Adivi Sesh who is basking on the success of Kshanam is busy writing script for his next film. As all we know, Sesh had provided story for Ravikanth Parepu directed film Kshanam and he even directed couple of films like Karma: Do You Believe? and Kiss earlier.

Adivi Sesh has clarified that, he will play lead role in the new film for which he is presently preparing script, but it is uncertain whether he will direct the movie or not. Although Sesh is interested in directing this movie, he hasn't yet decided on this. As of now, he is enjoying penning an action-drama script.

Adivi Sesh was last seen in a cameo role in Oopiri which was also a commercial hit. He was flooded with offers after the release of Kshanam, but Sesh is not in hurry to pick everything. In fact, he is bit tensed as audience expect something more appealing than Kshanam from his next ventures. All the very best Sesh for your future projects! -

Venky Backs Out For Super Star

Victory Venkatesh is currently busy shooting for his upcoming entertainer 'Babu Bangaram'. The film is directed by Maruti and Nayanathara will be seen pairing up with Venky for the third time in this flick.

The makers planned to release this film on July 6th but looks like the film may get postponed. There are two reasons behind the postponement says the source. The most important reason is the arrival of Super Star Rajnikanth on July 1st. Rajni's 'Kabali' was earlier planned to release in May or June. But, the elections in Tamil Nadu and other factors made the film makers to move 'Kabali' to July. Competing with Rajni's film any day is a bad idea. So, 'Babu Bangaram' team opted for another date rather than coming on July 6th.

The other reason for postponement is Nayanathara says the source. Nayan was unavailable for the shoot many days. She is reportedly giving importance to Tamil projects by skipping this film which is delaying the film. We need to wait till the makers announce another date. -

'A Aa' Waiting For The Result

Trivikram's much awaited project 'A Aa' is yet to confirm the release date though the first copy is ready. After a grand audio launch at the beginning of May, there is no news about the film. Insiders say that Trivikram & Co are waiting for the result of 'Brahmotsavam'.

'A Aa' was earlier planned to release on May 20th. But they postponed it to avoid the clash with Mahesh's 'Brahmotsavam'. The film may get released on June 3rdsays the insiders. If 'Brahmotsavam' gains positive talk then team 'A Aa' will maintain a gap of two weeks. As both films are family dramas, releasing within a short gap may affect the collections of the second release. If 'Brahmotsavam' gets mediocre reviews and response, then 'A Aa' may hit the marquee on 27th explains the source.

This means, we need to wait till 20th to know the release date of Trivikram's celluloid
