Hyderabad: Sultry siren Mumaith Khan, who sizzled Tollywood has disappeared from Telugu films for some time now. She has been busy shaking legs for hot item numbers in B-town for films like 'Rowdy Rathore'.
The good news for her fans is that she is all set to act in a full-length Telugu movie. She has reportedly signed a film where the she will be playing the central character.
To be directed by DVK Nageswara Rao, the film would be produced by KS Prasad under the banner BS Entertainment. While the production house is new, the director is one film old; his first film was 'Aunty Uncle Nandagopal'.
'The story is inspired by a real-life incident which took place in Maharashtra. The story revolves around Mumaith Khan's character; it is a story of a young couple, played by debutantes. We will shoot in Bangkok, Mumbai and Hyderabad extensively," the producer said.
The genre of the film is not known, but there is a host of comedians in the cast. Brahmanandam, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam , MS Narayana, Krishna Bhagawan in addition to Tanikella Bharani, Bharath, Prithvi and Master Bhuvan will play key roles. Nandamuri Hari is the editor.
