There's only one talk in the
state now-When will Chiranjeevi made the chief
minister of Andhra Pradesh. And these questions, talks and speculations will reportedly turn to reality as
Congress
high command is soon going to change the leadership in the state, said
sources. While Congress leaders such as Renuka Chowdhary and others who
rubbished the speculations earlier stating that CM post was not vacant
are remaining silent now. This itself indicates that some key changes
are going to take place in the state, opined the
political observers.
The Congress legislators are reportedly unhappy with Kiran Kumar
Reddy as the chief minister. Some leaders such as Shankar Rao went ahead
and wrote a letter to the high command that Congress had to face defeat
in bypoll only due to Kiran. Also, the reports indicated that people
were irked by the decision of high command not giving right post to
Chiranjeevi in the state and that's why they didn't cast their votes for
Congress.
While change in leadership apparently turned an unavoidable aspect to
the high command, who will be the right person to adorn the seat has
reportedly become a big question to the Congress high command. And
sources said it was reviewing the interests of the public at large in
the state besides the support of legislators Chiranjeevi is having.
Keeping in view all these things, the sources stressed, Congress would
reportedly make Chiranjeevi the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh the
moment presidential elections conclude, said sources.
In fact, Secunderabad MP Anjan Kumar Yadav clearly told the media
last week that a significant changein AP politics would take place after
presidential elections. Above all, the political observers said it was
the need of the hour for Congress to ensure that it lures the voters in
order to retain its power in 2014. To make it happen in reality, the
party should make a person like Chiranjeevi the chief minister.
Also, the observers said Chiranjeevi hailed from Kapu community and state has majority of kapu voters and in order to
bank
of votes of kapus, Chiru should be made the chief minister of the
state. Already opposition party TDP observed the kapu vote bank and the
supremo Chandrababu Naidu promised that he would give 100 MLA tickets to
kapus. This itself proves that any leader can rely on kapu vote bank,
opined analysts. So, they said in every possible angle Congress party
would be benefitted by Chiranjeevi in case he's asked to adorn the chief
minister's seat.
People will be happy and so will be the legislators only when a true
leader leads not just the party but the state. And who else can be a
true leader other than Chiranjeevi?
