AP Police has increased their vigil on Hukkah parlours and pubs that
supply Hukkah to prevent minors from getting addicted. However, from the
moment police started this, the business got doubled.
Rather going all the way to Hukkah parlour to suck a gulp of that addictive smoke, girls are said to be buying that hukkah-setup permanently. Reports indicated that some working women from Madhapur area who stay in hostels have purchased these setups that cost around 3000 rupees. Instead of getting caught by the police at private pubs, it is better to have it calmly inside their room is what they feel. An old city businessman revealed that he has sold around 50 units in the last two days, of which 80% are purchased by young girls.
Raiding and putting them behind bars or giving them lectures is not the best way to prevent use of Hukkah or drug laced Hukkah. It's better if Police department launches a social-responsibility campaign to curb this threat.
