The
T March called as 'Sagara Haram' (garland around Hussainsagar) protest
on Sunday agitating for the resolution of Telangana, has made two good
friends part ways. Though these are just rumors based on some live
incidents, speculators say that there could be no smoke with out amber
beneath, an age old saying. The TJAC Supremo Prof Kodandaram called for
the protest to enlighten the imminent need for a separate Telangana
state carved out of the unified Andhra Pradesh state. The proposed dat
of September 30.
Right
from the beginning Telangana Rashtra Samithi led by K Chandrashekar Rao
was playing cautious role on the proposed march sending signals of
disinterest. But things worsened yesterday when the TJAC supremo made
an appeal to the activists to stay back for the night at the venue. In
spite of heavy rain many activists stayed back, but the TRS party cadre left the venue.
The reasons as per internal
sources is that the party backed out in between the march, because they
were not consulted over the extension. If it may be noted that on
Saturday, Telangana Jagruti Supremo Ms Kavita and the JAC Leader
Srinivas Goud requested the Police
Commissioner Anurag Sharma that since it is a peaceful march they
expected support from the government and the police department. But with
this announcement, things turned chaotic and the TRS did not want to be
a party to such unwanted commotions, probably say sources.
