Story
Sandhya
(Kajal) meets Kartik (Raviteja) and instantly fall in love with him at
first sight during her studies in Italy. She tries to impress him but
finds him a hard nut to crack on her way to India. However to her shock
she comes to know that he is already married and decides to marry her
relative Gautam (Nara Rohit). What twists happen in Sandhya's love life
has to be enjoyed on silver screen.
Performance
Ravi
Teja came up with a credible performance and though he played a subdued
role controlling his mass action, he emoted well in climax and crucial
scenes. However masses may not put up with his role as even in dances
there are no mass moves for which he is popular for. However his comedy
timing and action makes the day. Kajal gave stellar performance and
stole the show from all. She looked gorgeous and matched dialogue to
dialogue with Ravi Teja in timing. She was really entertaining and the
scenes between Ravi Teja and Kajal came out well. Richa Gangopadhyay's
role has no scope for performance but she looked good and hot in songs.
Nara Rohit came out with cool performance as Gautam and others like
Chandra Mohan, Jayasudha, MS. Narayana did their roles to perfection.
Analysis
Director
Parasuram scripted a good storyline and even included excellent twists
in the plot. However lack of comedy undid the film. The film starts off
at brisk pace with Kajal and Ravi Teja's chemistry taking viewers to
completely different zone. However the tempo was not maintained the
moment Raviteja started narrating his love track with Richa. It could
have been scripted in a more interested and better manner. Except for
MS. Narayana's minute appearance the film did not have any entertaining
elements which is a major draw back. All in all a good story not dealt
properly by the director.
Technical
Production
values are good. Devi Sri Prasad's music is good and are perfectly
choreographed. Back Ground score is ok. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao's
editing could have been better in the entire film as there are many
scenes that could have faced the cut. Vijay Chakravarthy's
cinematography is beautiful. Director though prepared a
nice story-line completely lost the plot in screenplay.
Final Talk
Mass Raja in class appearance not only alienated mass viewers but also class viewers.
