AP Cabinet ministers Ghanta Srinivasa Rao and Narayana are said to be locking their horns leaving their relation as in-laws for their perseverance. Both the ministers are heard to be persistent in having the upperhand for a post in Vizag.
The post of a Chief medical & Health officer in Vizag has been vacant from last 8 months and the ministers of Municipality and Human resource respectively are having difference of opinions in choosing a candidate for it.
While Government already had a proposal to appoint Dr Dhavala Bhaskar Rao, there were also the names of Civil surgeons from Kakinada GGH, Nellore and Guntur Govt hospitals who were trying in their own ways to grab that post. There were also some doctors ready to give away as big as Rs. 50 lakhs for that CMHO post in Vizag.
Though the names of candidates referred by these two ministers each are hidden, they are not in a mood to step back until they made their candidate sit in that post, not even for relation. -
