Story

Hari and Giri are two guys who would be working as salesmen at a pharmacist shop. Not content with their earning as sales men they resort to pick pocketing. However, they are no trained thieves but silly people who want to cushion their salaries. They target locked houses and steal things. Since no big things get lost people won't bother complaining to police.

The two will land in a treasure of money one day. As they try to run away with the loot, they will be caught by a gang. Not realizing why they were caught the two will confess of their theft. However, the gang is after a 'box.' What is the mystery behind the box forms the rest of the story.

Performance

Siddhu was impressive with his ease and his dialogue delivery reminds us of Raj Tharun and Nani. In romance with Rashmi, he showed his true prowess. His comedy timing is too good and it will take him far in the industry! Naresh was lively though you'd feel he's over doing at many instances. In some sequences he was extremely good too.

Talking about Rashmi, one wonders what was the need for this Jabardasth lady to reveal so much. Ask about performance, where was the scope for her to act? We know people won't go with the expectations of seeing her acting talent anyway!

Shraddha was good with her skin show and acting. Mahesh Manjrekar was good and rest of the cast lived up to their roles!

Technical

Praveen Sattaru is a man of different taking and style. Barring few sequences his taking and screenplay are impressive to say the least. Some of the dialogues will take youth by storm at least for some time.

Charan's music was good - there were two songs which are good and the BGM was decent. Editing was not sharp and about OK. Second half feels slightly dragged. Production values are decent.

Plus Points

Siddhu and Naresh

Glamour quotient from Rashmi and Shraddha

Comedy

Screenplay and Direction

Twists and turns in the story

Minus Points

Too simple climax

Dragged second half

Overboard romance

Analysis

This time Praveen Sattaru came with a full length entertainer. His USP is his screenplay and he wont disappoint audiences with Guntur Talkies too.

The entire story revolves around one central point and he is good in achieving that with leading to monotony. Climax was a little let down though yet screenplay experiment will appeal to cine goers!

Final Talk

Talkies is all about Rashmi and Shraddha's glamour recipes!
