There's a cricket angle to the dirty Panama scam. Yes. It's not just a former cricketer of 80's vintage, who is involved. A whole bunch of celebrities, who tried to bid for IPL franchise, seem to be involved in the Panama leaks. There is cricket and also bollywood in this scam.
Among them is the beautiful actress Kareena Kapoor and her royal hubby Saif Ali Khan, Videocon boss Venugopal Dhoot and Pune realtor Chordia family. These people formed P Vision Sports for which 15 per cent of the funds came from an offshore firm, which is linked to British Virgin Islands.
Interestingly, the company the floated wound up when the could not bag the bid.
After Amithabh and Aishwarya, Kareena and Saif are the next filmy family to be involved in the scam relating to offshore accounts of Indians.
