Story:
Sardaar Gabbar Singh is the story that happens in a village Rathanpur which happens to be the border of three states. A mafia goon Bhairav Singh (Sharad Kelkar) rules the people there dominating them and stealing the natural resources with his ruthless man power. This is the time Sardaar Gabbar Singh (Pawan Kalyan) gets transferred to Rathanpur to challenge the mafia don over there. He falls in love with the princess of Rathanpur Arshi (Kajal Agarwal) and the rest of the film is how he eradicates the mafia in Rathanpur and impresses his love. Analysis:
The first half of Sardaar Gabbar Singh will sure fall short of an average film. There are some episodes that will impress the audience. Some of the scenes showcasing Pawan Kalyan have been stylish. The action episodes looked completely fake and the songs have not been shot well. The interval episodes have huge dose of action that fail to impress the audience and the complete plot has been predictable. The second half of Sardaar Gabbar Singh too has nothing much to reveal. =
Pawan failed completely with the story and the screenplay which is the major drawback of Sardaar Gabbar Singh. The climax has been dragged too much and they lack everything. On the whole the complete second half too fails to impress the audience and Sardaar Gabbar Singh falls flat by miles.
Performance:
Pawan Kalyan has been completely impressive with his performance and he has done an energetic job all over. He should have taken extra care on his costumes and the entertainment which involved him. Kajal has been decent and her character has been written well. She has been gorgeous on screen and is the highlight of the film.
Sharad Kelkar has been assigned a job that he has not done ever before. He tried handling the job well with his impressive performance. All the other actors have been decent with their roles. The story of Sardaar Gabbar Singh has been completely outdated and is out of reach. The screenplay and the dialogues are the major drawbacks of the film. The music and the background score too leave the audience in shock as they offer nothing much. The cinematography has been breathing and the editing has been completely lacked. The production values have been decent and Bobby selected an outdated plot that offered nothing new for the audience.
