It's a season of biopics. After The Dirty Picture, a biographical drama inspired from yesteryear actress Silk Smitha, turning out to be big hit, there's a good craze for biopics and films inspired from real-life people. And the turn is soft-porn actress Shakeela. Kannada director Indrajit Lankesh is prepping up to make biopic of the adult actress. And what's more? Noted Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi is being considered to step into Shakeela's shoes.
Indrajit is presently busy grooming politician Zameer Ahmed Khan's son Zaid Khan for another movie. He says that the biopic on Shakeela is on. Indrajit divulged that Huma Qureshi would be the lead in this film and he is planning to make it in Hindi shortly.
Incidentally , Shakeela had played a cameo along with Sunny Leone in Indrajit's previous Sandalwood release Luv U Alia.There were also rumours that Sunny would be doing the biopic.
After shot to fame with Gangs of Wasseypur, Huma has become quite busy with supporting roles in Hindi. Now she is all set for her Mollywood debut with the Mammootty's 'White'. - S
