Even before the film has hit the screens, the makers of A..Aa said to have trimmed the film by 18 minutes. In order to maintain the film's pace, the unit reportedly chopped few unwanted scenes from the film. After realizing that the copy was up through Qube and UFO, makers have reedited the film to cut short the film's duration. It's learnt that it was a collective decision by the director, producer and the crucial members of the film.
After the re-editing, the top brass of A..Aa said to be happy with the final output and now shared the final version to respective distributors. With this the unit heaved a huge sigh of relief among the unit who were initially a bit tensed with the eleventh hour changes.
However, this is not the first time movies are being trimmed. It's regular custom for our makers to cut the film before and after the release. Films like Brahmotsavam, Oopiri, Sardaar Gabbar Singh and several other films went under scissors after they failed to live up to the hype that is generated. -
