Thane Police on Saturday named Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni as one of the accused in the biggest ever drug racket bursted in India two months ago. Now, The former actress might face a Red Corner Notice by the Interpol.
Actually, Mamta Kulkarni & her husband Vicky Goswami were the kingpins of drug racket. On January 8th this year, Mamta even took part in the meeting chaired by International Drug Don Abdullah in Kenya to discuss about the transport of drugs to India.
Vicky Goswami imported 100 kgs of Ephedrine to Mumbai from Kenya. The drug company operated by him in Solapur is named as Avaon Life Science. Already, US places Vicky in most wanted list for operating the narcotics racket.
In April this year, Thane Police busted a drug racked and seized 20 tonnes of Ephedrine which is worth Rs 2,000 crore. 10 people were arrested so far in connection with the case.
