Salman Khan's 'Sultan' which was released recently opened to packed crowds. Due to Ramzan season, 'Sultan' had set the cash registers ringing on the first day. The film collected over 40 crores on the first day turning out to be the biggest hit in 2016 so far.
Now, the focus is shifted to Rajnikanth's 'Kabali'. Compared to Rajni's craze, it may not be a difficult task to surpass the 40 crore on first day. 'Kabali' will be releasing in 5000 screens on July 22ndaccording to the sources. But, Rajni had two disasters under his belt now. The success of 'Kabali' is much needed for him and if the film gets positive talk from the morning shows, then there would be no stopping to 'Kabali' and it may even cross the records of 'Baahubali'.
On the flipside, the confusion over the release date of 'Kabali' has not left. Though insiders say that it will be released on July 22nd, there is no official announcement from the production team yet. We need to wait for few more days to get the official announcement. -
