Neither 'Gouravam' nor 'Kotha Janta' established Allu Sirish as a Hero Material. 'Srirastu Subhamastu' is the 3rd attempt of Mega Hero to prove his mettle. This time, Director Parasuram teamed up with him after a flop like 'Sir Ocharu'. Theatrical Trailer of 'Srirastu Subhamastu' has generated superb buzz and increased the expectations. Has Allu Sirish scored a solid hit at least now?

Watch 'Srirastu Subhamastu' in theaters near you to know more!

Performances:

Allu Sirish has put in a lot of effort and it shows on the screen. He looks pretty confident and impresses every time he acts in a casual manner. In the Climax too, He has done a fine job. He, however, appeared clueless in few scenes and presented a blank face. He still need to work on his body language.

Lavanya Tripati impresses with gorgeous looks and performance. She got into the skin of the character so well. Prakash Raj & Rao Ramesh excelled using their experience. Particularly, They have taken the movie to a whole new level in the Climax. Sumalatha was wasted. Tanikella Bharani, Ranadhir, Ravi Prakash were alright. Ali, Prabhas Seenu and Subba Raju tickled the funny bone.

Pros:

Performances

Music

Dialogues

Second Half

Cons:

Love Story

Technicalities:

With 'Srirastu Subhamastu', Thaman showed his expertise at offering feel-good music. Songs & Background Score have been very impressive. Camera Work by Manikandan is flawless. Nothing to complain about Production Values of Geetha Arts. A superior quality product was delivered with limited budget. Parasuram is equally impressive as Writer & Director. Dialogues penned by him were short & meaningful. He narrated routine story in a fresh manner by including Romance, Humour & Family Emotions.

Analysis:

Instead of experimenting, Its always easy to narrate a routine story with a taut screenplay &  good dose of entertainment. Allu Sirish & Parasuram walked in the same path to deliver a clean family entertainer. Parasuram played to his strengths 'Comedy & Emotions' for which he is known for.

Which one of the two should be given more importance - Love or Family Values?  The debate on this subject never ends. Here, Parasuram has perfectly balanced both of them and hence 'Srirastu Subhamastu' is being embraced by Youth & Families. It reminds us of films such as 'Solo', 'Bommarillu' and 'Nenu Sailaja' at certain points. Still, The Director succeeded in moving the audience emotionally. Thanks to the combination scenes of Sirish, Prakash Raj & Rao Ramesh in the Climax. Major credit goes to Good Performances & One-Liners.

'Srirastu Subhamastu' scores big when it comes to entertainment factor. While Prabhas Seenu does a decent job in First Half, Combination scenes of Sirish-Ali-Subba Raju were hilarious in the Second Half. The command of Parasuram on comedy is visible in these blocks.

Parasuram, however, failed to handle the Love Story properly. He didn't establish why Heroine falls in love with Hero and wasn't able to convince the viewers why the protagonist is madly in love with the lead lady. Few teasing scenes of the Lead Pair look illogical. Even Story & Screenplay were largely predictable. Although there are few negative aspects, 'Srirastu Subhamastu' have many positives to offer a pleasant experience to the audience.

Bottom Line: You Can Give It A Try!
