With SVSC setting the trend for
multistarrer movies many other heroes are showing interest to share screen space with other noted actors. Yet another multistarrer is going to take off tomorrow in Tollywood. Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Sunil are playing the lead roles in this film. It is a remake of Tamil hit Vettai. Sunil will play the role of a timid cop and Chaitanya does the hot blooded youth role in it. Dolly (Kishore) of Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam fame is wielding the megaphone for this film. Bellamkonda Suresh is producing this action comedy. Hansika will play the love interest of Chaitanya and Sunil's pair is yet to be zeroed in. Vettai was an out and out commercial entertainer which is also being remade in Hindi. This film has all the ingredients to lure the masses and we could expect Dolly to offer a full fledged masala meal. Dolly did a pretty decent job in KIKK and has waited long enough to take up his next assignment. Sunil and Chaitanya playing brothers will surely help the film to grab the attention of youngsters as well as mass audiences. Let's hope SVSC and this film to set path for many more multistarrers in the coming days.

Bangalore, June 11: The Karnataka government Monday ordered arrest of controversial Hindu religious guru Nityananada Swami and sealing of his ashram complex near here following allegations of sexual exploitation of women.

The order was issued by Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda in the wake of a state-wide demand for his arrest and closure of the ashram in Bidadi, 35 km from Bangalore.

Nityananda would be arrested in two days, Gowda told reporters.

The whereabouts of Nityananda are not known as he is believed to have lef this ashram late last Thursday after a stormy press meet.

Gowda said he had ordered a search of the ashram and for a probe into charges by several women that they were sexually exploited by Nityananda.

Steps are also being taken to get the bail of Nityananda in a rape case cancelled, the chief minister said.

Nityananda has been on bail since June 2010 after he was arrested from Solan in Himachal Pradesh. He had gone into hiding in Solan for about a month in March-April 2010 after a Tamil TV channel aired a video showing him indulging in sexual acts.

After being picked up by Karnataka Police, he was in a Bangalore jail for seven weeks.

The latest trouble for the controversial religious leader began after a Kannada TV channel started telecasting complaints by several women that they were sexually exploited by him.

The Congress and Janata Dal-Secular as well as several Kannada groups have been demanding the immediate closure of the ashram and action against Nityananda.

The ashram saw a fracas between media personnel and disciples of Nityananda last Thursday and Friday. On Thursday, Nityananda ordered a reporter out for asking inconvenient questions, which led to protests. The next day, a press meet called by his disciples also ended in chaos.

The trend followed by glam gals is to show as much flesh as possible at public events when offers are not coming their way. Two such ageing heroines are doing the same thing now by getting dirty. Hot sirens Bipasha Basu and Shriya Saran are in the same phase now. With age reaching early thirties, the once celebrated sex-bombs are struggling to make a mark now. Off late, both the hotties are showing excessive skin shows in public. The other day both got dirty with scantily clad sarees to show their wilder side for public at IIFA awards. While Shriya showed plenty of her waist and back, by tucking her saree three inches below waist, Bips gave a stunning show by wearing a padded-bra as a blouse. Critics are saying that the heat generated by these two babes will bag them item-songs but not lead-girl roles. Rather sitting idle at functions by showing cleavages, it is better to sizzle on-screen even for item-numbers!

Not only Bollywood and Tamil cinema, Telugu films are also going beyond borders to show some rawness in the content. But this is taking shocking turns with Small-Films. We are seeing big heroes like Mahesh and Pawan doing a peck on the lips of their heroines in an aesthetic way. But our so called small movies are taking different turn about this. They simply want their young actors to chew eachother's lips before the camera. You can take any small-budgeted movie released in the last one year to observe this. In fact, all the hero and heroines of these films are youngsters who wandered on roads with the slogan 'okka chance'. Our so called intelligent makers are simply cashing on their weakness by actually roping in unwanted lip kisses, says a critic. While some girls and boys are staying away from that, some have no other chance than to accept it. We can say that our makers are outputting dumb movies because of their unwanted interests for these kisses.

FTMovie : ENDUKANTE PREMANTA Rating: 2.5/5 Cast : Ram, Tamanna, Rishi, Kona Venkat, Sayaji Shinde, Anu Haasan, Brahmanandam, Suman and others
Directed by : Karunakaran
Produced by : Sravanthi Ravi Kisho Banner : Sri Sravanthi Movies
Music : GV Prakash Kumar
Release Date : 2012-06-08

Ram, who has struck gold with his previous outing Kandireega, is now back with a romantic entertainer Endukante Premanta. Tamanna, who is riding high on the success of Racha played a non-masala role in it. Karunakaran too is in pretty good form of late. He tasted back to back hits with Ullasamga Utsahamga and Darling. Did he deliver for the third time in a row? Is Endukante Premanta as promising as it looked prior to the release? What is it about? This film is about a love pair that is born again after their love failed in the previous birth. Krishna and Srinidhi (Ram and Tamanna) are reborn as Ram and Sravanthi. Fate gets them closer and the couple helps each other in a situation. But Ram realizes that Sravanthi is in a bigger problem than he could imagine. He is the only person who could bail her out of it. Endunkante Premanta is about a love pair in an extraordinary situation.

Performances: Ram suits the role to the T. His suave and stylish looks are impressive. He is one of the few young actors who can shoulder any type of role. His makeover from Kandireega to Endukante Premanta is quite remarkable. Tamanna is adorable in the role of Sravanthi. Despite poorly etched character she does a decent job to make the character work. Sayaji Shinde excels as hero's father. There are few hilarious scenes on him in the latter half. Watch out for the 'award' scene. Anu Haasan is believable. She is one of the pillars of this film. Sadly, Rishi failed to put up an impressive show in the negative role. Suman is average. Brahmanandam and Krishna Bhagavan provides comic relief. There is nothing much to write about the remaining star cast.

On the Technical Front:
GV Prakash Kumar has given decent music to Karunakaran's previous two films. This time he failed to live up to the expectations. Except for a couple of songs nothing is worthy enough to listen to. Background score is another weak link. Cinematography comes as the only positive point. Graphics are badly done. Editing is not up to the mark. There is so much lag in the film. Dialogues are written by Kona Venkat, who has also done a role in the movie. He is definitely a better writer than actor. Karunakaran's shoddy work is shocking. This is definitely not him. This could easily be one of his bad films ever. His trademark style is completely missing. The bad script has done him this time. We wish to see better films from the director and Endukante Premanta is the last we could expect from the sensible director.
Analysis:
Endukante Premanta is a soulless love story which fails to strike the rights chords. The concept of the film itself is pretty bad. The plot line is inspired from the film Just Like Heaven. Karunakaran tried to make changes to the script to suit the sensibilities of Telugu audience. However, he has failed miserably in getting the emotions right. Even the audience who doesn't have a clue about the plotline could guess that Tamanna is not a person but a soul. Such is the screenplay. Every scene has been poorly written and logic goes for a toss. First half of the film runs at a snail pace and it would be a big test to sit through it. Even the twist fails to shock due to bad screenplay. Second half starts off on a better note, but it has been dragged endlessly and pointlessly. It could have trimmed by at least thirty minutes. Director tried to make it up in the climax scenes, but he has messed it up big time much before that and nothing could save this film from turning out to be a major disappointment.

Verdict: Endukante Premanta is a total letdown

The involvement of 'Graphics' in South Indian films has been there right from the Golden Era of Indian Cinema... but, I would definitely say, with the growth of film making, the techniques of Graphics have also grown... just recollect the recent sensations ‘Arundhati’ for a moment, you would definitely agree with my statement of ‘graphics being the key for success for many socio fantasy/mythological stories, to hit the audience right’...
'Graphics' ka jaadu in South film Industry...
This year, when it comes to the genre of socio fantasy films is concerned more than regular ratio of films, when compared to the earlier years is being made in South...
In T - Town alone, as of now, we have S.S. Raja Mouli’s ‘Eega’ and King Nagarjuna’s ‘Dhamarukam’ in which the importance of graphics is really high and this is one of the main reasons the release of these films is getting postponed... the release of ‘Eega’ is being postponed to July from May and we have no clue when ‘Dhamarukam’ would hit the silver screen....
Even Super Star Rajni Kanth is working on entertaining the audience with a out and out fiction genre ka film titled ‘kochadiyan’… Rajni’s look in the film, in the recently released first look is turning out to be a highlight and it is understood that graphics have a major role to play in this film as well...
Looks like ‘graphics’ would rule some of the major films in South this year… if this works out, all fine… if something goes here and there, the film maker, distributor and in turn the business of the film industry would be at stake…

Guess what, Katrina is not the first to be commented on, in the list are Aishwarya, Shobha De, Abhay Deol, Ranbir Kapoor. Well, 5 years in the industry, 6 films to her credit and not a single notable hit at BO. Probably this is what makes her envy of dear Katrina who is most sought after in the industry and the Bollywood Khans are waiting for her dates. Poor Sonam, Its getting tough to digest the facts and is hitting at contemporaries.

Hyderabad, June 6: Stating that the YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Counsel has withdrawn the petition seeking interim bail in the Court on June 1, Rajahmundry MP Undavalli Arun Kumar has said that Jagan’s mother Vijayamma was spreading Gobles by saying that the Congress government and CBI have put his son in the jail without granting bail.

Speaking to the media at CLP office here on Wednesday, Undavalli said that the YSRCP leaders had changed their plan of getting bail because Vijayamma and her daughter Sharmilla were pulling good crowds than Jagan. “Court would have granted interim bail in case YSRCP leaders didn’t withdraw their interim bail petition on June 1.  The court has granted interim bail to Prajashanthi party Chief KA Paul keeping the bye-election campaign in view and in the same manner,  Jagan would have got the interim bail”, he explained.

Finding fault with Vijayamma’s claims that there were some doubts on former chief minister Dr YSR’s death,  Undavalli said that it was not correct for  her to raise doubts after completion of two-years time. She has to raise the doubts seriously and seek another probe, he said and added that YSR family members were expressing doubts only to gain votes. He said that Jagan was a Member of Parliament and chief of a political party. “Jagan, as a son of Dr YSR, has every right to raise doubts in the Parliament on his father’s death and seek Interpol investigation if he was really serious”, he said. He questioned Jagan, as to how he was maintaining silence, as a son, if he really had doubts on the death of his father all these days. “No son will behave like that manner if he had doubts on his father’s death. Jagan has money, power and everything, and how will he keep silence”, he questioned.

He questioned Jagan family to reveal the fact that on whom they have doubts. “It is not pardonable for  Jagan to maintain silence without expressing doubts on his father’s death more than two years  ago, expecting a position”, he said.

Undavalli said that he has no doubts on Dr YSR’s death. “If I had any doubts I would have asked for a probe as a close friend of Dr YSR. On that day, cumulonimbus clouds were there and according to experts there was no chance for the helicopter to come out from the clouds. Airplane only will identify the cumulonimbus clouds and it is not possible with the helicopter”, he explained.

He questioned YSR family members as to why they were not taking the issue seriously when they believed in conspiracy behind the death of Dr YSR. He also found fault with Jagan for stating that the latter had addressed a letter to the then Aviation Minister Praful Patel.  Undavalli said that Jagan has to make public the acknowledgement letter if he had really addressed a letter expressing doubts on Dr YSR’s death.

Finding fault with  Sakshi newspaper  reports on him, he said that the   Block Box voice recorder was available everywhere in the internet. “One can listen in Youtube the sounds of pilot in the helicopter in which Dr YSR traveled”, he said.

When asked about Mopidevi Venkataramana Rao’s issue, Undavalli said that according to Justice Swaroop Reddy judgment, there was no criminality if the decision was taken by the Cabinet. “If it is personal, the minister has to be punished’, he said.

Bhanwarlal has also said that the EC has asked the Chief Minister to respond to complaints that he had commented on issues that were before the judiciary.

Hyderabad, June 5: “There is no culture like covering up mistakes committed by leaders, whoever it may be, in the Congress and Kadapa MP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would have faced CBI inquiry even if he continued in the party,” PCC president Botcha Satyanarayana has said.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday, Botcha said that even the Chief Minister was not above law and would undergo punishment on committing mistakes. Congress sees justice as justice and the guilty will have to face punishment, he added.

Stating that experienced leaders automatically get suitable positions in the party, the PCC Chief said that YSRCP honorary president YS Vijayamma and her daughter Sharmila were speaking utter lies to gain sympathy of the people. “I feel sorry for Vijayamma and Sharmila for their efforts to gain sympathy from the people”, he said.

Finding fault with the speeches of Vijayamma and Sharmila, Botcha asked how Jagan, who had constructed palatial buildings, would render social service. “There was no need for the Congress to kill former chief minister Dr YSR. He said that both mother and daughter were adopting Gobles theory and trying to make the people believe falsehood by chanting lies again and again.     Rejecting the criticism of Vijayamma that why the CBI did not arrested him (Botcha) in connection with Volkswagen case, Botcha asserted that he never accepted bribe like Jagan. He said that the Congress party was not lagging behind any party in fighting corruption. Both Vijayamma and her daughter were campaigning vigorously as they are money-hungry. He also made it clear that he would seek apologies directly from the people if he had committed any mistake. He said that he has no history like Vijayamma to cover up mistakes.

Exuding confidence that the Congress would get good results in the bye-elections, Botcha said that he has doubts about Jagan’s latent hand behind the death of Dr YSR because Jagan had hastily collected signatures from the Congress legislators supporting his candidature for chief ministership immediately after death of his father in helicopter crash. He also said that he has addressed a letter to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy seeking action against then Aviation director Brahmananda Reddy. Stating that the Congress was not scared of desertion of its MLAs, Botcha said that the Congress knows how to protect the government.

Lambasting TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu for dubbing the Congress as party of thieves, Botcha asked the former whether TDP was a party of “rishis’. He sarcastically said that though Naidu obtained stay orders from the courts, but the people did not grant exonerate him for his corrupt practices.

Hyderabad, June 4 (INN): Former Minister Dr P Shankar Rao on Monday condemned the alleged harassment of YSR Congress party honorary president Vijayamma and her daughter Sharmila by the police during their campaign trail.

Talking to reporters outside the Congress Legislature Party office, Dr Shankar Rao said that the behaviour of police officials was highly condemnable and they should not have checked their suitcases frequently.

He alleged that Vijayamma's suitcases were being checked on the instructions of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and police was treating their luggage as those of terrorists. He said such actions would damage the Congress party in the by-elections.

Dr Shankar Rao also condemned the Chief Minister's remarks wherein he stated that Jaganmohan Reddy would face imprisonment for at least 14 years in the assets case.

He also demanded that the CBI arrest former Government Advisor KVP Ramchandra Rao in the disproportionate assets of Jaganmohan Reddy.

HYDERABAD: Ten days after the arrest of a cabinet minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana in Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy's illegal assets case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has summoned another minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah for questioning.

The investigating agency Monday issued notice to Information Technology Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah directing him to appear before it on June 7, CBI sources said.

The minister would be appearing before CBI on the day when five-day CBI custody of jailed MP Jaganmohan Reddy would come to an end.

Lakshmaiah, as minister for major industries in the earlier cabinet of Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, had issued orders allocating water from Krishna river to some cement companies which invested in the companies of Rajasekhara Reddy's son Jaganmohan Reddy.

The CBI on May 24 arrested then excise minister Mopidevi Venkataramana. He is now lodged in Chanchalguda Central Jail.

Venkataramna had issued orders allotting land and extending other concessions for Vanpic company, whose promoter Nimmagadda Prasad made investments in Jagan's companies.

Lakshmaiah will be the fourth minister to be questioned by the CBI in the case. The agency had already questioned Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy and Roads and Buildings Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao. Two other ministers are also under the CBI scanner.

The Supreme Court in March had issued notices to the six ministers and eight Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officials, asking them why their role should not be probed in issuing 26 controversial government orders during YSR's tenure.

Hyderabad, June 4: Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao has lashed out at YSRCP honorary president Y S Vijayamma for criticizing the Congress party.

Speaking to the media here on Monday, VH said that thinking of Vijayamma was not good as she was stating that they would fight in the people’s court in spite of engaging legal luminaries and spending crores of rupees for arguments on behalf of YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He asked Vijayamma as to why she was spending crores of rupees on engaging costly lawyers when she wanted to fight it out in the people’s court.

VH also questioned Vijayamma as to why she was not caring to console several families of those who went to jail due to Jagan’s crimes. He has alleged that Jagan indulged in anti-social activities along with criminals like Mangali Kishna of Pulivendula. He also condemned the statement of Vijayamma for stating that Jagan did no wrong. He alleged that Y S Jagan has joined hands with TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu, but late Dr YSR never joined hands with Naidu. Jagan had tried to topple the Congress government to become chief minister of the State. Dr YSR never had such thoughts like Jagan, he added.

Finding fault with Ramdev Baba and Anna Hazare for talking about the black money stashed in foreign countries, VH said that both have to speak about the corruption taking place in the country first. Both have been trying intentionally to bring bad name to the UPA government, he alleged.

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu has said that YSR Congress chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy would go to jail for 17 years if crimes against him were proved. Naidu gave Jagan three years more of jail sentence than Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, who said Jagan would go to jail for 14 years.

Naidu addressed election meetings in East Godavari and Srikakulam districts on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, he said Jagan was giving packages to MPs and MLAs. He said that several persons were going to jail because of the crimes committed by Jagan. Referring to the recent disclosure that mining baron Gali Janardana Reddy gave money to a judge for his bail, Naidu has wondered how many hundreds of crores Jagan would offer to get a bail.

Naidu has alleged that YSR Congress and Congress had indulged in match-fixing. He said both the parties were buying MLAs. The TDP chief was possibly referring to reports that TDP Nuzvid MLA Chinnam Rama Kotaiah met the AICC general secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad and would shortly be joining the Congress party. Reports earlier said that Rama Kotaiah has earlier decided to join the YSR Congress and later changed his mind as YSRC already has a candidate from Nuzvid in the 2014 elections.

‘DHARMANA TOO WILL GO TO JAIL’

Naidu has said development in the State had taken place only during the TDP rule and never was room given for corruption. He alleged that the Congress rule has turned into a curse to the State. He said minister Dharmana Prasada Rao and some more ministers would also go to jail soon. He said that the government was trapped in massive corruption charges and had no time to think about the problems of the people.

He said farmers were in a very pitiable condition. Referring to the statements of Dharmana, Naidu said TDP could not be cowed down by his threats. He said the Congress government has turned the sand business as a syndicated mafia trade and had been striking at the very livelihood of the construction workers. He said the State government had totally failed in providing quality power to people and industries. Stating that the State was destroyed in all sectors, Naidu said there was need for total reconstruction. He said both the Congress and YSR Congress were responsible for this pathetic condition.

Hyderabad, June 4: Summer is vacation time for every one. In villages no one has any real work. By-elections which came during this vacation period have been providing plenty of entertainment to the villagers. There are political analysts in every village. Other innocent and curious villagers surround these analysts and take their valuable opinions on political developments. Some enterprising persons have also pitched on the brilliant idea that they could earn a fast buck through these by-elections. Villages which were quiescent, suddenly came alive. Betting has started on who will win and who will lose. Betting did not stop at that. If some one’s victory is a foregone conclusion, people are betting on the majority.

Though the by-elections are confined to only some districts of the state, they generated interest statewide. So betting gangs sprang up every where and gung ho are the bidders. This enthusiasm has even reached the professional bookies who have been controlling cricket game. Their networks are now directed towards politics. They started conducting independent surveys and deciding who would win. They are said to be indulging in scientific analysis of the goings on, day by day. They have identified popular candidates and devised ways to attract bidders.

YSR Congress has become a hot favorite for these bookies. Bidders are queuing up to place heavy bets on this party. In districts crores of rupees are changing hands already. Heavy bets are being placed that YSR Congress would win all the 18 Assembly and 1 Lok Sabha seats. The sight of a heroine coming to the shooting location in her own car is something we witness very rarely. The starlets among stars also never indulge in that. There is a reason behind this, which is violated by our sexy bulky girl. Bulging beauty turned seductress, Hansika Motwani is busy these days spreading a word everywhere that she bought a new BMW car. Apparently she is the proud owner of a 60 lakhs BMW 5 series car now. In fact, heroines never stay in the news with such luxury things as that will raise eyebrows. Sources are saying that the bulky girl now entered the hit-list of Income Tax sleuths for a regular check-up. Generally for top stars, everything will not be paid in 'cash' and all the cash will not be 'white'. Earlier, actresses like Anushka and Bhumika are raided by the IT sleuths when they started using their on Mercedes and Audi in the tinsel town. As long as if the accounts are correct and spending is proportional to earning, these heroines need not fear. We have to see how exactly Hansika will handle this!

Nellore, June 1: TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu has said that late Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy had written a letter to him in 2004 for permission to sell his house to clear his debts and questioned how he had earned thousands of crores of rupees within a few years from that stage.

Addressing election meetings in the Potti Sriramulu Nellore district on Friday, Naidu said that when YSR sought permission to sell his house, he could not give it as it was constructed on government land. He said that he wrote back stating that YSR could pay for the land and then sell his house. He told the people to understand how late chief minister, who tried to sell off his house to clear his debts in 2004, had become so rich in such a short period. He said that while YSR earned money through corrupt means, his son became a slave to bad habits. He said that Jagan had developed friendship with criminals and anti-social elements like Bhanu Kiran and Mangali Krishna.

Referring to the statement of film director Ram Gopal Varma that Jagan had threatened him, Chandrababu has sarcastically questioned whom Jagan had not threatened. He said Jagan had threatened some, lured some and finally sent all to jails and destroyed their lives. He said that had Vijayamma chided him when he had committed the first crime, the situation would not have come this far.

Stating that any mother would chide her child if he or she committed a mistake, Naidu said contrary to this Vijayamma was supporting her son and all his follies. He said that Vijayamma was trying to get sympathy of the people and turn it into votes after Jagan was arrested. He questioned whether the YSR Congress party got votes, their crimes could be washed off. He said that it was strange that Vijayamma took to roads in defense of her son, who was a criminal.

Naidu said that Mangali Krishna had placed a bomb to kill his party leader Paritala Ravindra in 2001 at the behest of Jagan. He also said that they finally succeeded in murdering Paritala Ravi in 2005. Naidu has warned the people that if people voted for Jagan, they would be drowning themselves. He said that there was need for people to join hands together to save the State. He said that officials, who performed well under him and good businessmen had also fallen in trouble and went to jails because of Jagan. Nandamuri Balakrishna fans have been treated with Simha two years ago and the actor is due for another success since then. His latest film Adhinayakudu has created enough buzz with few
political dialogues and mass masala content. Did Balakrishna get it right this time? Is Adhinayakudu a movie worth the wait?

What is it about?

Political rivals of Seema leader RamaKrishna (Balakrishna) plans to kill him by hiring a professional killer Bobby (Balakrishna). When Bobby realizes that Ramakrishna is his father he starts protecting him. But there is a dark past that separates the father and son. What is that is revealed in the latter part of the story.
Performances: Balakrishna gave a marvelous performance in three roles. His body language for all the three characters in very different and that shows the greatness of the actor. However, he should have taken care of the makeup used for middle aged role and the younger one. Balakrishna dances with excellent energy and that is a treat to watch. Lakshmi Rai plays the role of a glam doll. Pradeep Rawat's villainy is Okay. Kota Srinivasa Rao is good and Murali Sharma is natural. Jayasudha steals the show in sentiment scenes. Brahmanandam's funny alien comedy works well in some parts.

parts. Rest of the cast did their best.

On the Technical Front:

Kalyani Malik's music is passable. Songs in the second half are good. Background score is alright. Cinematography is good. Editing is adequate. Dialogues are written by the director himself and there are ample dialogues to get whistles from the fans. Paruchuri Murali handled the scenes on middle aged role and old age role with great command. Had he taken good care on the scenes of young Balakrishna, it would have been much better than what it is now. Analysis: First half of the film concentrates on entertainment factor. Scenes on Balakrishna and Brahmanandam provide comic relief. Watch out for the introduction scene of Brahmanandam. Lakshmi Rai provides the mass masala factor. However the scenes on her have been dragged a bit too much. Story gathers pace as the second character of Story gathers pace as the second character of Balakrishna enters the show. He takes the film to the next level and the movie reaches a high at the interval point. Second half is much better with nice family drama and political drama taking the driving seat. However, inconsistency in screenplay mars the show. There is a good scene and it is followed up with a downer. More or less the graph is same throughout the second half. Nevertheless it will be liked by Balakrishna fans. There is not much in offer for families and female crowds. Masses may like to see Balakrishna in three different avatars. Verdict: Adhinayakudu is Balakrishna's show.
