This time, he is getting back with horror title ‘Thulasi Dalam’ including the story, script and direction handled by him-self. We all know this title as an epic Telugu thriller novel written by Yandamuri Veerendranath and the same was made into movie long ago.
When RP is recycling the same title for current generation audience, obviously expect similar quality and strength in plot. ‘This film is completely shot in Las Vegas for 44 days. Till now, we have seen love stories with different hurdles and problems around. First time, if horror becomes a problem for love story that’s what is ‘Thulasi Dalam’ concept.
For all those audiences missing my music from last few years, this film will impress them. So, it can be rightly called as ‘Musical Horror’ flick. Last Friday's release "Guntur Talkies" has literally stunned everyone with its dark content and comedy. The crass sounding dialogues and raw scenes are somewhat tough for audiences to accept.
According to latest grapevine, some technicians who worked for the film and few actors who are part of this dark comedy are not showing interest to meet media. Because they are all feeling ashamed that they have starred and made such a black film which normal movie goers would hate to watch it along with their families. Though the content is thoroughly enjoyable, some vulgar scenes could have been avoided.
Anyway, it's only Shradda Das and Rashmi hungama on television for this "Guntur Talkies".
It sound like the Nandamuri hero is completely confused when it comes to his 100th movie. Already Balayya has earlier told to Telangana CM KCR that his 100th film is a sequel of "Aditya 369" and it will be directed by Singeetham Srinivas Rao. But earlier the same Balayya told media that Boyapati will direct his iconic 100th movie.
Later the name of Krishna Vamsi has emerged and Balayya also confirmed "Rythu" as the title to people close to him. However, today he spoke to media and confirmed that his 100th film is being directed by Krish, whose subject is based on BC times king of Amaravathi named Gowthamiputra Swetha Karni. This Satavahana ruler is one of those premieres who brought Buddhism to the region. We hear that dialogue writer Sai Madha Burra is preparing dialogue version of the film already, while Krish is dealing with VFX teams to finalise the budget of the film which is said to be around 90 crores.
While speaking with media today at Assembly media point, Balayya revealed about this Amaravathi King story. Anyway, he stated final decision will be taken about the film after this Amavasya.
Versatile actor Prakash Raj is famous for his talks about various stuff, including the way he criticised director Sreenu Vaitla through a poem written by him. And now, the same Prakash has pointed his guns at critics of Telugu cinema.
Sharing this thoughts about recently released "Shourya" movie, Prakash Raj felt that Telugu cinema website reviewers have done gross injustice to this Manoj and Regina starrer. Prakash vented fumes and then expressed his displeasure for reviewers killing chances of the film at box office.
There are times when a film collected 50 crore share even reviewers gave 2.5 rating. Example: S/o Satyamurthy. So, if there is content inside the film, it will click for sure.
Superstar Mahesh is currently shooting in Varanasi along with beautiful lady Samantha for their upcoming film "Brahmotsavam". Going by the title, this Srikanth Addala directorial sounds like a complete family film, but there is more than that it seems.
Actually few pictures shot secretly on the location of Brahmotsavam in Varanasi are leaked now. These pictures show Mahesh and Samantha walking in the busy streets of the historical city, dressed in simple modern wear. Also the chemistry between them in other pictures showcases that they are filming some romantic scenes. That proves that the film has a love story set in Varanasi backdrop.
Brahmotsavam is scheduled for April 15th release initially, but no word is being heard about it now. Seems like makers pushed it to May 20th.
It's "Tuntari" time for Telugu audiences as the Nara Rohith starrer directed by Kumar Nagendra is releasing this Friday.

Story
Mounika (Deeksha Panth) an aspiring writer along with her friends forces a publisher to read her story. After going through the story he says it was similar to a story and real life incidents happened during 1990s.
He says she has good writing skills and she can make hone them effectively with realistic narration and asks her to do some research. Mounika along with her friends decides to find out the mystery behind 'O Sthree Repu Ra'.
With her efforts futile she decides to play 'Spirt Game' to call spirits and question them about the mystery. What happens next should be seen on screen.
Performance
There is nothing much to rave about performances. Deeksha Panth is ok in lead role. Shruti Mol is not of heroine material and she did her job according to the plot.
Both male actors Vamsi Krihsna and Ashish Gandhi lack expressions which play important role in elevating the scenes. Others went through the motions.
Technical
Ghantasala Vishvanath's music is ordinary. Background score is ok. Editing could have been far better. Cinematography is good in couple of scenes. Dialogues are average.
Ashok Kumar should have conducted some research and worked on the script. Just getting inspired by real life happenings is not enough to score success on screen. Production values are average.

Ashok Kumar Reddy inspired by real life incidents in the 1990s came with this horror film. But he failed to come with a strong story and once the story turned out to be weak, everything else fell flat. He failed with his screenplay and direction.
He starts off in a interesting manner but later story drifts and moves listlessly without any logics. Many are left to wonder why the lead actor do not try sufficiently to find out the mystery going to the place of incident rather than depend on calling souls. This itself weakened the plot. Any hopes of Ashok Kumar on comedy working out did not turn real.
Finally nothing worked out in the film as Ashok Kumar failed to include twists and turns to thrill viewers.

There is nothing much to rave about performances. Deeksha Panth is ok in lead role. Shruti Mol is not of heroine material and she did her job according to the plot.
Both male actors Vamsi Krihsna and Ashish Gandhi lack expressions which play important role in elevating the scenes. Others went through the motions.
Technical
Ghantasala Vishvanath's music is ordinary. Background score is ok. Editing could have been far better. Cinematography is good in couple of scenes. Dialogues are average.
Ashok Kumar should have conducted some research and worked on the script. Just getting inspired by real life happenings is not enough to score success on screen. Production values are average.

Ashok Kumar Reddy inspired by real life incidents in the 1990s came with this horror film. But he failed to come with a strong story and once the story turned out to be weak, everything else fell flat. He failed with his screenplay and direction.
He starts off in a interesting manner but later story drifts and moves listlessly without any logics. Many are left to wonder why the lead actor do not try sufficiently to find out the mystery going to the place of incident rather than depend on calling souls. This itself weakened the plot. Any hopes of Ashok Kumar on comedy working out did not turn real.
Finally nothing worked out in the film as Ashok Kumar failed to include twists and turns to thrill viewers.

Tuntari Movie Review
Nara Rohith's latest offering Tuntari is an official remake of Tamil film Maan Karate produced by A.R. Murugadoss. The star director also provided story for the film besides producing it. Tuntari is a sports fantasy that has its fun moments but let down by lackluster direction and lazy performances.
What is it about?
Five software engineers meet a sadhu in the forest who gives them a newspaper from the future. They come to know that they are behind the success of a champion boxer called Raju (Nara Rohith). They are shocked to see Raju as he is an aimless guy who doesn't even know that boxing is a sport. Now they should train him up and get him ready for the championship. Raju has to face a fierce and ruthless boxer killer raju (Kabir) to become the champion. Can he win the match against all the odds?
Performances:
Nara Rohith has tried his hand at comedy. He is fine with his histrionics but doesn't look convincing in many scenes. Latha Hegde is just okay as the female lead. Vennela Kishore gets a meaty role. Shankar tried his best to make us laugh. Kabir suits the part. There is nothing much to write about the remaining star cast.
Technicalities:
The premise is interesting but Kumar couldn't get the positives of the original right leave alone correcting the negatives in it. Maan Karate was technically sound but Tuntari falls short by miles. Music by Sai Karthik is mediocre. There is nothing great about the cinematography. The story screams for better production values.

Who is Hero in Rajamouli Garuda Movie?
There is always a huge craze behind the combination of Young Tiger NTR and Sensational director Rajamouli. They have delivered blockbusters like Student No.1, Simhadri and Yamadonga in the past. Fans are eagerly waiting for the next film in the combination but it never materialized. Slowly Rajamouli became a national wide figure.
Of late, there are rumours that Rajamouli will be doing ‘Garuda‘ with NTR and the movie will have its launch very soon. However the project is not happening. Shocking Gossips on Brahmotsavam
Seems like everything is not going smooth with Prince Mahesh’s ‘Brahmotsavam’. Some days ago, it was rumoured that Mahesh was not happy with the way his character was designed for the movie. He reportedly wished his character should be something like to that of ‘Srimanthudu’s. As such he made the movie’s shoot delayed to ensure necessary changes done to the project.
And now, fresh buzz making rounds is that Mahesh was not satisfied with the script and got the script sent to senior director K Raghavendra Rao to make necessary changes done with the script. However, the legendary director is gossiped to have endorsed the task to senior script and dialogue writers Paruchuri Brothers. If at all these gossips are to be believed, the movie might be delayed further. As of now, the makers have stuck to release the movie on May 27.
