Hyderabad, Oct 16: Is a state minister involved in the sensational murder of Kannada film and popular Telugu TV actress Hemasri?
Yes says TDP senior leader Varla Ramaiah. He told the media at
Vijayawada that Hemasri’s husband Surendra Babu and two former Congress
corporators had tried to use Hemasri as a bait for a minister and
described it to be a heinous act.
Charging that the state government was trying to hush up investigation
of the case, Ramaiah has said the home minister Sabita Indra Reddy
should resign if she had any moral values. Demanding that the name of
the minister who was involved should be disclosed, he said the minister
should be dismissed.
Meanwhile, the Bengaluru police are still searching for Suresh, driver
of Surendra Babu who has allegedly helped him in the crime. Earlier
reports said Satish was arrested. But the Bangalore city police
commissioner has clarified that apart from Surendra Babu, no one else
was arrested. Even Satish’s family members told the police that he had
neither come back, nor called them. His phone is also switched off.
Police also said that Surendra Babu has been telling a different answer
every time they question him.
