Telugu
producer DVV Danayya, known for producing hit films such as "Dubai
Seenu" and "Julaayi", feels the collaboration between actor Ram Charan
Teja and director V.V. Vinayak for his forthcoming film "Nayak" will
yield a winning output.
"Vinayak's collaboration with Ram
will yield bigger outputs than his previous association with megastar
Chiranjeevi. Vinayak's utmost dedication and relentless hard work will
make 'Nayak' not fall below expectations," Danayya told.
The film, releasing Jan 9, 2013, also features Kajal Agarwal and Amala Paul in the lead.
"The
story is about Ram's struggle to fulfill his father's ambition. He has
worked with sincerity since this film demands that he carry an aura
totally different from the rest of his films. Kajal and Amala have a
good mix of glamour and varied emotions in their roles and they have
carried it of well," he added.
Some songs of the film, which has music by S.S Thaman, have been shot in exotic locales in Slovenia.
Charmee
Kaur has grooved for an item number in the film, which also stars
Brahmanandam, Jayaprakash Reddy, Rahul Dev, Raghubabu, MS Narayana,
Asish Vidyarthi, Pradeep Rawat and Aizaz Khan.
Meanwhile,
Ram is currently shooting for Apporva Lakhia's Hindi-Telugu bilingual
"Zanjeer", a remake of megastar Amitabh Bachchan's film of the same
name. Priyanka Chopra is cast opposite him in the film.
