Amidst reports that all is not well between TDP and BJP, and the parties would be heading for a break-up, BJP National President Amit Shah has tried to clarify it. Clearing the air in a media interaction, Amit on Friday said that the talks with TDP are going on and the issues with its partner would be resolved shortly.
This is not all. Amit also hinted that they'd be discussing with TDP before naming its Rajya Sabha candidate from the state as part of the coalition rule. Amit also made it clear that the existing state president of BJP for AP, Kamabhampati Hari Babu will be replaced as his tenure was ended recently.
Amit Shah, considered as close-aide of PM Narendra Modi, reiterated that BJP is committed for the growth of the successor state of Andhra Pradesh. "We'll be looking into all the issues the new state is facing. New president for the state unit (AP) will be announced in a week." -
