Mahesh Babu's much awaited family saga Brahmotsavam released today amidst huge expectations. With nearly 80 crores at stake, the film received severe flak from critics and movie-goers for its TV serial like narration, and the major complaint from all quartets has been the film's long duration.
With negative word of mouth spreading fast with each show, the makers have acted quickly and have reportedly decided to edit out at least 18 minutes from the film. The freshly trimmed version will be played from tomorrow in all the screens.
As per the inside buzz, a major chunk of scenes in the second half including a song in the first half will be chopped off to make the film even crisper. With the film already suffering from the negative feedback, we will have to wait and see if the edited version will work wonders for the film. -
