While people from west are fighting against body shaming, wearing a bikini turned a crime for an actress, who expressed her anguish on people cursing over her bikini pics. Sonarika Bhadoria played the role of Goddess Parvathi in a tele serial Devon Ke Dev Mahadev.
And when she posted few pictures of herself in Bikini and flaunting her curvy body, people started questions like 'how can a goddess don a bikini' and cursing her as they could not tolerate a girl playing goddess Parvathi in bikini. The actress had to take down those pictures after a while and she came down heavily on her body-shamers. Saying she is not yet that mature to handle this sort of negativity, Sonarika left a middle finger icon for detractors and body shamers.
The other day it was Fardeen Khan who was body shamed and the former actor shot back with some strong yet decent things to say. Not just Fardeen or Sonarika, many celebrities from Bollywood are being body shamed and few give it back.
Now Sonarika uploaded her bikini pictures again and by this time, the body-shamers must have understood that their cursing or cussing gets boomeranged. -
