Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja and his wife Riva visited Sasan Gir in Junagadh district of Gujarat recently. The newly married couple have been to the lion safari at the Gir National Park and Sanctuary.
Jadeja and his Wife not only stepped down from the safari gypsy but posed for photographs within a distance of 15-20 feet away from the lions. Even some forest guards were seen with the Cricketer in these photographs. These pictures went viral on the internet.
As per norms, Tourists weren't allowed to get down from the gypsy while being at the Gir National Park and Sanctuary. The Forest Department ordered for a probe into the incident.
Few months ago, Jadeja's relative was booked for allegedly opening fire as part of the celebrations during the cricketer's wedding procession at Rajkot.
