One shouldn't take the friendly approach of a Lawmaker for granted and at least minimal arrangement have to be done before inviting a prominent personality for any programme. Officials in Telangana learnt a lesson from an incident which happened in Medak district recently.
Harish Rao attended Haritha Haram at Siggapur village in Medak District. After he took part in few development programmes, Principal, Teachers & Students of Gurukula Patasala stopped the convoy of Irrigation Minister to welcome the Minister for planting sapling in the school premises. Soon, Harish got down from his vehicle and went to the school. He, however, got shock to find that no arrangements have been done to plant the saplings. There was neither a plough to dig holes in the ground nor water to sprinkle on the plants.
As a result, School Management faced the wrath of the Minister. 'What about the arrangements? Do you think I'm a bakra minister?,' Harish Rao fumed at them.
Immediately, The Principal pleaded Minister to pardon him. Harish Rao calmed down a bit and planted a sapling using his hands.
