It's a routine of workers going for strike for salary hike or seeking other pricey demands. But, this is completely contradictory to the usual scenario.
While a company CEO cut down his annual pay in order to hike his employees' salary, the employees in return presented their boss his favorite and expensive car.
Credit Card processing company Gravity Payments and its Founder and CEO Dan Price gained fame with the young boss announced to raise pay to $70,000 a year for all employees, after an establish period. Price then said he would also make $70,000, dropping his salary from more than $1 million annually.
While this was the shock for the employees then, they now shocked their boss gifting him Tesla Model S on Wednesday. On the very next day, Price posted news of his costly gift on Facebook, saying "Shocked. Still in disbelief. Never imagined this was possible. Gravity employees saved up and pitched in over the past six months and bought me my dream car."
The post showed a photo of a poster signed by employees reading "Dan: Thank you for always putting the team before yourself."
Interestingly, the starting price for a Tesla Model S is $70,000. -
