The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) six edition (2016) was recently held in a grand manner in Singapore. Stars from all over the south attended the event to make the 2-day event star studded affair.
But Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu disappointed his fans with his absence in spite of being adjudged the Best Actor for his stellar performance in Srimanthudu. In fact this was Mahesh’s third SIIMA award after Dookudu and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.
Only today the actor broke his stoic silence - he thanked SIIMA on his Twitter handle. The actor posted: Received my “Best Actor” Trophy for Srimanthudu! Thank You @siima.
Mahesh is currently busy with the pre-production homework he is doing for his upcoming film with Murugadoss and hence despite SIIMA organizers sending personal invite to Mahesh Babu to grace the ceremony he could not.
