Peter Mukerjea's First Wife Shabnam Singh told to Cops who were investigating Sheena Bora murder case that their divorce happened due to her husband's affairs with several young women.
Actually, CBI planned to treat Shabnam Singh as a secret witness in the case keeping her safety in mind. But, Peter Mukerjea's Lawyer Mihir Gheewala sought a copy of statement given by the secret witness from court on grounds that accused have the right to see all the documents. Subsequently, Court directed CBI to provide the statement given by Shabnam Singh to the accused upon removal of irrelevant paragraphs.
Shabnam Singh's statement was recorded on November 25th last year. She revealed about Peter's fascination for young women and late night parties. She didn't hesitate to say there were several women in Peter's life and he lacked morals. She also disclosed that Peter has introduced Indrani to her when they went to London soon after separation. 'Peter told me that he is marrying Indrani shortly. I wished him good luck and even told - You Will Never Change,' says Singh.
In fact, Shabnam Singh believed Peter wouldn't marry Indrani. To her surprise, They got married even though she warned Peter about her dark past.
Upon looking at the statement, Peter's Lawyer opined the content has nothing to do with the case and CBI is just trying to malign the reputation of his client.
