Here's the first look of Nagarjuna Akkineni in his forthcoming film Om Namo Venkatesaya. Nagarjuna as Baba Hathiram nailed it to the hilt. The first look of the star was unveiled ahead of his 57th birthday to be celebrated on Monday.
It's common knowledge by now that ace director K Raghavendra Rao who had directed Nag's three previous devotional films â€" Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu and Shirdi Sai â€" is directing the film that seeks to recreate the life and times of Baba Hathiram. The movie, set in 18th Century, also chronicles the history of Tirumala. The movie is tentatively titled as Om Namo Venkatesa. The film's principal shoot will begin in July.
The film will seen an ensemble cast. Anushka Shetty will be seen in a significant role in the film and it's touted to be her most de-glam role till date. Pragya Jaiswal, of Kanche fame, is doing a special role. After hits like Soggade, Oopiri, Nagarjuna is back with a devotion film. -
