YSR
Congress chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s sister Sharmila has assured the
people that he would surely come out of the jail and become the Chief
Minister.
Sharmila campaigned in the district along with her mother on Sunday.
Speaking
on the occasion, she appealed to the people to vote for the YSR
Congress. She said that a vote for the party would mean reposing of
confidence in the integrity of her brother and expressing their wish for
him to become the Chief Minister.
Alleging
that CBI was acting as per the diktats of the Central government,
Sharmila pointed out that the agency’s former director himself has
admitted to this. She said the government was making the CBI dance to
its tunes.
Sharmila
has alleged that both the Congress and TDP had conspired to defame late
Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. She said as part of this conspiracy, Jagan
was arrested. She has questioned what crime Jagan had committed to go to
jail. She said that they were trying to wipe out the image of Jagan
from the minds of the people.
She
has alleged that both Congress and TDP were shivering at the very
mention of the names of YSR and Jagan. She asserted that both the
parties would not get a single seat in the ensuing by-elections. She
appealed to people to ensure that both the parties lose even their
deposits and put an end to the politics of changing colors.
Sharmila
said that Odarpu Yatra of Jagan has caused fear to the Congress party
as he was getting politically strengthened. She said this was the reason
why their family was being persecuted.
