Hyderabad,
June 6: Money is flowing like no body’s business in constituencies
where by-elections are being held. Despite election authorities seizing
crores of rupees from politicians, still they are managing to reach
unaccounted money to the prospective voters.
Parakala
is one of the most hotly contested constituencies in the entire state.
It is reported that YSR Congress candidate and former minister Konda
Surekha has been distributing Rs. 500 notes hidden in her fliers to
voters. She is alleged to be trying to lure voters of Atmakuru and
Geesukonda with money. Those who have received money told the media that
they received notes along with pamphlets.
Meanwhile,
Parakala Circle Inspector Kiran Kumar has told the media that a case
has been registered against Surekha on money distribution to voters. He
said the case was being investigated.
