Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha Movie Review
Natural star Nani is back with Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha after his Bhale Bhale show at the box office with his previous film Bhale Bhale Magadivoi. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi this film is a romantic crime comedy that keeps us entertained from the word go. Let's get into the details of KGVPG.
What is it about?
Krishna (Nani) is madly in love with Mahalakshmi (Mehreen) who is the only sister of a local rowdy. Krishna is afraid of approaching his lover's brother and Mahalakshmi tries her best to postpone her wedding plans. One fine day Krishna decides to go and tell him about his love. On the very night some people attacks on Mahalakshmi's house and Krishna is assigned the duty of ensuring the safety of three kids. Who are they and what happens next has to be seen on screen.
Performances:
Nani has once again come up with near perfect performance as a timid but determined lover. He is very believable and entertaining at the same time. He is very good with his comedy timing and is a true delight to watch. Mehreen is good as the female lead. She is cute but needs to work on expressions. There are loads of notable actors in key roles. Sampath Raj is pretty impressive as the tough cop. Murali Sharma is funny as the international terrorist caught up in a tricky situation. Pruthvi is hilarious as usual. Rajesh is good as the hero's friend. Brahmaji and Prabhas Sreenu have done their bit. The three kids are sweet and charming.
Technicalities:
Director Hanu Raghavapudi has done a very good job in keeping the pace up all the time. He made sure to have a sound script and dealt in an entertaining fashion. He could have made it subtler towards the end, but on a whole he made an enjoyable film with not much to complain about.
Music is alright. Background score is impressive. Cinematographer's work is topnotch. Editing is okay. There are scenes that need some chopping to make it crisper. Production values are very good.

Analysis:
Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha is a director's film. There is nothing sensational about the script but the director has made it a thoroughly entertaining movie with multi layered screenplay. There are many twists and turns in the film to keep you hooked all the time. Nani's characterization is superb which helped to maintain the entertainment mode right from the beginning.
The film never gets boring. It is a joyful ride until the penultimate scenes where it was needlessly dragged. Director chose to conclude it on an emotional note that may seem out of sync with the rest of the film. However that is not a major problem to be concerned about. Krishnagadi Love story is so much fun on a whole.
KGVPG lives up to the promise it has shown in its promos. It is a well made film that is worth watching just for the entertainment. It may not be bang on logic or might have taken few things easy, but that doesn't seem a problem at all. Nani has another winner on hands and Hanu is here to stay.
Verdict: Krishna gadi 'Victorious' Love story.
