Hyderabad, Nov 4: “Give a politician enough rope, and he may hang his whole party by disclosing its innate contradictions and opportunism”.

By now, the screaming and shouting is over and the dust seems to have settled over the Sagara Haram (Telangana March) and so called signals said to have been received by KCR on Telangana from Congress high-command, thanks to the latest statement of Shinde, Union Home Minster that decision on Telangana has national repercussions indicating that the Congress is not in a hurry to settle the issue.

The Telangana campaign after the momentum generated by Telangana March and ongoing Padayatras by CBN and Sharmila somehow haven’t reached fever pitch to generate delirious abuse and one can, for the moment, reflect on the sad state of “Andhra Pradesh”.

The saddest part is that Andhra Pradesh on the boil not so long ago has returned to simmer. There is no danger—at least in the government’s eyes—of the wrath of the people spilling over and sweltering all in its way. Appearances can be deceptive, and to our mind this is the case at the moment.

“CBN and YS Jagan, KCR and Kodandaram, Raghavulu and Narayana, Vimalakka and Gaddar, coastal Andhra MPs and Telangana MPs” all are busy playing their own game. Not one of them seems to have a people’s perspective.

The Congress leadership has convinced itself that the CBN is in such a sorry mess that he can only shoot himself in the foot if he tries to aim the gun at the ruling party. With one squinted eye turned towards enigmatic YSRCP leadership and unpredictable TRS supremo, CBN in fact does appear more than confused.

In politics of Andhra Pradesh, there are no areas of convergence among TDP and YSRCP and TRS and neither miss an opportunity to lash out at the other on the slightest pretext. Yet, surprisingly, there are stark similarities in their approach towards state politics.

While YSRCP and TRS are providing outside support to the Congress-led state government “to check the growth of CBN as an alternative”, TDP on its part facing charges of colluding with the Congress to halt the emergence of YSRCP and consolidation of TRS. Every one of them is critical of the Congress’ vendetta politics and policy inertia on various issues and is ready to rally the public against it, but none is eager and in an hurry to target the Congress.

And, while all actors on the political stage have called for the ouster of the Congress government to have an early election for the Assembly, none is keen to oust the government just now.

It came as no surprise; therefore, that KCR has been on a “switch on- switch off” mode on a decision to relaunch the movement. True to the form of personality-oriented political outfits that his TRS has been reduced to, his party leaders authorized him to take a decision at “appropriate time” and KCR has been allowed to plan his next moves in a leisurely way in the confines of his farm house.

A similar chore is being repeated in the TDP and YSRCP where the final call will have to be made by CBN and YS Jagan respectively depending on their convenience.

Their politics may be in jarring contrast. Yet, their motivations are not much different. YS Jagan has already spoken publicly about his Chief Ministerial ambitions.

In case of KCR, it is the political grapevine’s worst kept secret. Each of them is involved in back-channel communications with the political establishment ruling in the Raisina Hills.

The allegation leveled by the TDP that the Congress high-command is dangling the sword of CBI over YS Jagan and keeping KCR under reins by reaching tacit understanding with him on the strategy to be followed pending final decision on Telangana, may be a cry of desperation. But it is not without an element of truth.

There are other similarities in the style of politics these traditional rivals in Andhra Pradesh. While CBN has forged an OBC-led combination of minorities and a sprinkling of other castes, in the case of Jagan the pyramid has Reddys at the top and the rest downward.

On the other hand, KCR, a shrewd politician endowed with an uncanny sense of timing, is mired in arrogance that he is capable of reigniting the passions of Telangana people whenever he wants. He is least cared of the average Telangana protagonist who felt let down with his theory of signals, and continues to enact his gimmicks with his narrative on his prolonged stay in Delhi and his supposed fruitful discussions with the Congress high-command.

On sidelines of above, there are many a maverick leaders and virtuoso individuals who have began to shift their loyalties particularly from the Congress and the TDP and are jumping either into YSRCP or into TRS in search of their political future.

Matters are further compounded when ‘all these so called "Aya Rams and Gaya Rams" are advised by the respective party Presidents no less, to remain within the strict confinement of Laxman Rekha. The trouble is that mythological precepts from the Ramayana can’t be blindly prescribed for the much darker times of the Mahabharata. Men of straw either in the government or in the Opposition can’t lead their compatriots away from the precipice in these dark times.

So much for politics of principles! Three Cheers for politics of opportunism!

Hyderabad, Nov 5: Telangana Nagara Samiti leader Nagam Janardana Reddy has given a shock to the TRS chief KCR by making it clear that he would not join a party that was poised to merge in the Congress.

Talking to the media after BJP leaders including Kishan Reddy and Bandaru Dattatreya met him here on Monday, Nagam said he was confident that BJP-led NDA would create Telangana state. Stating that Congress was the number one enemy of Telangana, Nagam said statehood to the region would not be a reality until that party was finished. He said the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh would have understood the sentiments of people if he was directly elected by the people.

Nagam said he would work closely with all parties committed to Telangana including BJP. He said he would tour the Telangana districts from November 23. BJP has announced its support to this Yatra. BJP state president Kishan Reddy has also said that they had not invited Nagam to join the party. He also said that his party would work with Nagam.

Hyderabad, Nov 5: The police have registered a criminal case against actor-producer Manchu Mohan Babu and his son hero of the film “ Denikaina Ready” film, which ran into trouble with the Brahmin community launching a protest demanding banning of the film.

Based on directive from the Malkajgiri Court, which was moved by the Brahmins, the police registered cases under Sections 120-B, 153-A and 295-A and 298 IPC against Mohan Babu, Manchu Vishnu, comedian Brahmanandam and film director Nageshwar Reddy and commenced investigations.

Earlier this morning, a delegation of Brahmins, who had formed a Joint Action Committee, met Home Minister P. Sabita Indra Reddy and demanded immediate banning of the movie, which has not only hurt the religious sentiments of the community, but also belittled them with various scenes and dialogues.

It might be mentioned here that the film had been running rough weather from the very beginning. First it encountered problem from the Censor Board and after the hurdle was overcome after making necessary changes, the film ran into trouble from the day it was released.

Members of the Brahmin community taking objection to the alleged derogatory dialogues and scenes raided the residence of Mohan Babu in Jubilee Hills. In the fracas, some furniture and glass panes were damaged. The screening of the film was also met with stiff resistance at many theaters.

Even as the controversy was raging day after day, the members of the Brahmin Community even lodged a complaint with the State Human Rights Commission. In an unexpected development, Mohan Babu’s son and hero of the movie Manchu Vishnu also reached the HRC office to lodge a complaint about the attack on his house and the damage caused.

While Vishnu was exiting after submitting his petition, he was confronted by the agitating Brahmins, including some advocates.

Slogans were raised against him and shoes were hurled at his vehicle.

Thus as the controversy surrounding the movie has been escalating, the members of the affected community moved the court in  Malkajgiri following which a directive was given to the police to file a case against the producer, director, hero and comedian of the movie.

Meanwhile, the BJP has demanded arrest of Mohan Babu and others. Party leader Prabhakar Rao said though the court has directed the police to register cases and arrest the accused, the government was trying to save Mohan Babu and others. Demanding immediate ban on the film, Prabhakar has alleged that the government was helping the producers by allowing the screening of the film by appointing a committee to delay the process. He said the film producers were making money while the government was delaying ban, allowing damage to be caused to the sentiments of the Brahmin community

The top league of heroines is captured by Samantha, Tamannah, Kajal Agarwal and they are also making their moves into Bollywood. This leaves us with the second layer of heroines and two names have been figuring quite prominently in that. They are the duo of Taapsee and Anjali. However, who among the two is better, is the discussion. Taapsee started her career as a second female lead and slowly she is getting into solo lead. Recently, when she was approached for a second heroine role for a Tamil movie, Taapsee reportedly rejected it. Meanwhile, Anjali has got the potential to do solo heroine roles but she is underrating herself and is still finding comfort in doing second female lead. Actually speaking, Anjali is on top of Taapsee because she has the right native sex appeal, the immense acting potential and above all, a pleasing attitude which goes well for the cine circuit.

According to the source both of them had left for Delhi a few days ago and were spotted on their return flight from Delhi on Friday morning at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. It has been understood that they had returned to the city via Bangalore.
On their return flight to Hyderabad, they had avoided confronting a central minister and a couple of state ministers as if to maintain secrecy of their journey. Many political sectors feel that they have been trying to suppress the Enforcement Directorate, ED, from releasing further evidence and notices.

The youth wing of the Samajwadi Party's Maharashtra unit Saturday protested against filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma, who is shooting a movie based on the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.

Nearly 200 Samajwadi Youth Party (SYP) activists led by their president Abu Farhan Azmi shouted slogans and waved black flags near Taj Mahal Palace & Tower Hotel which was the main centre of 2008 Mumbai terror attack.

"When we asked the local police how the movie was being shot on actual locales on Mumbai streets in the wee hours today (Saturday), we were informed that no permissions have been given to Verma to shoot anywhere," Azmi told.

Accusing Ram Gopal Verma of going back on his four-year old promise of not making a movie on the terror attacks, Azmi said that now former chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh is no more, the director has decided to make money out the sorrows of hundreds of victims and martyrs of the terror attacks.

"We have demanded that (Ram Gopal) Verma must not shoot anywhere on actual locales of the terror attacks and mock the Mumbaikars, he can shoot in studios if he is so keen on the movie," Azmi added.

The SYP has also demanded that since he has failed to keep his word to the late Deshmukh about "never making a movie" on the terror attacks, he must make a commitment to donate all the profits of the movie to the victims and survivors of the terror incident.

"We also want that he may make and release his movie only after the sole surviving terrorist, Ajmal Kasab is hanged. Nobody should be allowed to glorify a terrorist or terror acts by immortalising them on film," Azmi said, threatening to intensify the party's agitation.

Incidentally, Ram Gopal Verma had shot to the headlines when he visited the terror-ravaged Taj hotel a couple of days after the attacks. But, at that time, he scotched all speculation and said he would never make a movie on the terror attacks theme.

His unceremonious shifting from petroleum ministry to science and technology ministry has brought into the focus of national media for the last two days, as everybody attributed it to the pressure tactics of Reliance Industries Limited chairman Mukesh Ambani.
On Wednesday, social activist and India Against Corruption convenor Arvind Kejriwal came out with several evidences as to how Jaipal Reddy tried to stonewall the attempts of Mukesh Ambani to dictate terms to the petroleum ministry to hike the price of natural gas explored from KG basin wells and called for an independent auditing of gas reserves in the wells.
“For refusing to succumb to the pressures of Ambani, Jaipal Reddy had to pay a heavy price,” Kejriwal said and demanded an explanation from Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on the issues raised by Jaipal Reddy.
Thanks to Kejriwal, Jaipal Reddy is now getting huge coverage in the media and being projected as the most sincere and principled politician. He might have lost the portfolio, but he has become a big hero now!

Hyderabad, Oct 31: There appears to be some kind of understanding between the TRS and the YSR Congress to totally liquidate the ruling Congress and the main opposition TDP, to win most of the Assembly and Parliament between themselves and emerge as strong forces both in the state and at the center.

This was clear during the talks the TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao held with TDP dissident leader Harishwar Reddy and others on Tuesday.

KCR has reportedly said that while the YSR Congress of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was set to drive both the Congress and TDP into wilderness, TRS would do the same in Telangana.

KCR has told Harishwar Reddy and other leaders that his party right now has chances of winning 70 Assembly seats in the 'T' region and if efforts were made, they could even win 100 seats and all the MP seats. If the YSRCP succeeds in sweeping both the Parliament and Assembly elections in the Seemandhra region, then both Congress and TDP would be pushed into oblivion, KCR has reportedly told the gathering of TDP men. He told them that when this happens, whoever could be in power at the center would have to accept the Telangana demand with no option.

Though there was no written agreement as such between the TRS and the YSRCP to make a joint front as of now, the two parties have generally come to an understanding that they should sweep the elections, pushing the ruling and opposition parties into the background.

It is learnt that it was due to this general understanding that the TRS has decided not to obstruct the ongoing ‘Maro Praja Prasthanam’ pada yatra of Sharmila. That the YSR Congress honorary president Vijayamma could address a massive public meeting at Bhongir in Nalgonda district without trouble on the occasion of former TRS youth leader Jitta Bala Krishna Reddy joining the party, was evidence enough that the TRS would not create hurdles to Sharmila’s yatra, say observers.

As the YSRCP is also making inroads into Telangana, KCR is believed to have come to the conclusion that it would be better to come to some kind of understanding with that party than fight it also along with Congress and the TDP. In all likelihood, the TRS and the YSRCP are likely to come to an understanding even on seat adjustments before the 2014 general elections.

As of now, both the TRS and the YSRCP are concentrating on poaching the Congress and TDP MLAs and other senior leaders, while Chandra Babu Naidu was walking the length and breadth of the state, to strengthen his party. TDP MLA Hariswar Reddy has already announced his decision to join the TRS. Some more dissident TDP MLAs including Venugopalachary and even former TDP leader and independent MLA Nagam Janardana Reddy might join the TRS say sources.

While this is the story in Telangana, the YSRCP is unveiling another story of misery for the TDP in Seemandhra. Praveen Kumar Reddy, TDP MLA of Tamballapalli in Chittoor district has met Jagan in the Chanchalguda jail on Tuesday and the TDP has instantly suspended him for the party. Praveen is on his way to join the YSRCP and the TDP also knows about it since quite some time. Amaranath Reddy, another TDP MLA from Palamaneru constituency of Chittoor district is also likely to follow the suit. TDP former MLA from Payakaraopet Changala Venkata Rao has also joined the YSRCP on Tuesday. TDP Gopalapuram MLA Tenneti Vanita has earlier indicated that she would be joining the Jagan bandwagon.

TRS in Telangana and YSRCP in Seemandhra are continuing efforts to get more MLAs of Congress and TDP to their side before the elections.

With both the parties bent on winning all the strong leaders of the TDP (and Congress) to their side, TDP appears to be on its way to the sick bed.

Ileana is a top league heroine and she has made her life due to Tollywood. However, it looks like after the bug of Bollywood has bit her, she has begun to sideline the Telugu industry. At least, this is the allegation being heard from many noted members of the filmnagar area.

A noted producer mentioned that Ileana is ready to give dates for Bollywood film promotions but not for her Telugu films. Sources say many are showing reluctance to work with Ileana for two reasons- Her price tag of Rs 1.5 crores and her indifference towards participating in promotional activities.

Buzz is that Ileana’s ‘bad attitude’ is causing trouble. Sources say Jr NTR has vowed not to work with Ileana again after her behavior during shooting of ‘Shakti’. It is heard that even Mahesh Babu has been hesitant to work with Ileana after ‘Pokiri’ and didn’t encourage her for ‘Businessman’.

Even Allu Arjun was reportedly miffed when Ileana was absent for the promos of ‘Julayi’. Few producers have mentioned that Ileana insists on a Mercedes Benz for transport, first class tickets for overseas travel and wants only expensive food.  But here is the other side of the story.

A source close to Ileana has quashed all this as an attempt to malign her reputation. The source quoted how Ileana was present for the promotion of ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’ and justified that she didn’t have time for ‘Julayi’ since she had to wrap up ‘Barfi’.

The source also adds that her pay cheque includes the salary of her personal staff and vouched that Ileana is in the industry for six years and attended all shootings on time. The final touch is, the source has confirmed that soon she will be signing with the same stars about whom gossips are making rounds. Let us see what happens.

Hyderabad, Oct 30: Breaking his silence, Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao Tuesday warned of a "war" for a separate state of Telangana.

"If the centre delivers Telangana state, there will be celebrations, otherwise there will be war," he told reporters here.

The TRS would be holding its two-day conclave at Karimnagar Nov 5-6 to chalk out the future course of action over the demand to carve a Telangana state out of Andhra Pradesh.

KCR, as Rao is popularly known, was silent ever since he returned to Hyderabad earlier this month after nearly a month-long stay in New Delhi to hold talks with Congress leadership over the Telangana issue.

He reiterated that he met several leaders and that the talks were positive. "Can I say no if they want to give Telangana state," he quipped, when a reporter asked if he would again visit Delhi for talks. He, however, said there was no invitation from the central government for talks.

The TRS chief had been avoiding media for nearly a month amid reports of differences with Telangana Joint Action Committee (JAC) leader M. Kodandaram. KCR had come under criticism from some JAC leaders for not attending the Telangana march held in Hyderabad on Sep 30.

KCR also gave a call for observing Nov 1, the formation day of Andhra Pradesh, as "betrayal day". It was on this day in 1956 that Telangana was merged with then Andhra state to form Andhra Pradesh.

Washington/New York, Oct 30: Packing a powerful punch, Hurricane Sandy slammed into New Jersey Coast killing at least nine people, plunging more than three million into darkness and crippling transportation across the US East Coast.

Though downgraded to a "post-tropical" superstorm Monday evening by the National Hurricane Centre, Sandy still unleashed powerful winds and torrential rains from North Carolina to Maine and knocked out power to nearly three million customers across 11 states and the national capital.

Subways and bridges were shut down and streets were quiet as gusts howled over a huge region encompassing hundreds of miles, CNN reported.

The storm hit land near Atlantic City about 8 p.m. (6:30 a.m. India time Tuesday) packing 80-mph winds at landfall, down from the 90 mph clocked earlier Monday.

Hurricane-force winds stretched from Cape Cod to the Virginia coast as Sandy swept ashore, with its storm surge setting new high-water records for lower Manhattan and swamping beachfronts on both sides of Long Island Sound.

Mass transit shut down across the densely populated Northeast, landmarks stood empty and schools and government offices were closed. The National Grid, which provides power to millions of customers, said 60 million people could be affected before it's over.

In New York, lower Manhattan's Battery Park recorded a 12.75-foot tide, breaking a record set in 1960 with Hurricane Donna. The city halted service on its bus and train lines, closing schools and ordering about 400,000 people out of their homes in low-lying areas of Manhattan and elsewhere.

As New York's skyscrapers were being battered with higher winds a crane snapped and dangled from the side of a luxury high-rise under construction Far above West 57th Street. Police closed part of the street and evacuated several nearby buildings, including the Parker Meridien hotel.

By Monday afternoon, 23 states were under a warning or advisory for wind related to Sandy. Thousands of flights had been cancelled, and hundreds of roads and highways were expected to flood..

Winter storm warnings were issued through Wednesday morning for southwest Virginia and the East Tennessee mountains, where snow had already started falling, according to NBC News.

More than 30 inches of snow was expected in the higher elevations of West Virginia, and a foot was forecast in the North Carolina mountains.

With the storm expected to linger longer than most, the federal workforce and public employees in the national capital, Maryland and Virginia were told to stay home for a second day on Tuesday.

Local schools in Wasgungton and adjoining states were shut down. Metro and other transit agencies planned to remain out of service Tuesday.

No flights were expected Tuesday in or out of the region's three airports, where scores of travellers were stranded Monday after airlines halted service throughout the Northeast.

At the same time, all sections of people are lashing out at Mohan Babu for his 'blackmailing' remarks against Brahmin protesters. Mohan Babu said that they are doing hulchul only for the sake of money, which is really a harsh comment. What if they give a counter saying Mohan Babu is doing these cheap tricks in this film only to amass crores, as he lost all his money through the flop flicks of Vishnu he made earlier?

Mother of Raghunandan Yandamuri, the accused in elimination of baby Saanvi, has urged the media that his son should be punished in India only if he's found guilty. Padmavathi  has said that her son Raghunandan was an intelligent person and said he would deserve the punishment if his guilt was proved. Further, she even mentioned that her son earns 10,000 dollars per month and therefore he would not apparently put his life in trouble just for five months' salary.
Padmavathi has also asked that Indian government should intervene as she was of the opinion that her son would have not committed that blunder of killing months' old baby. The observers said that in case a person like Raghunandan is brought to India, the Telugu people were so angry against him that they might possibly can take law into their own hands, which isn't a good sign.

Some characters will do miracles for some heroines, while the same roles will not do anything substantial for others. Right now, a young heroine is testing her luck in the same way by reprising the role of Priyamani in her next. Well, this is happening for a latest flick of young and talented Priya Anand, who wants to prove her mettle in Bollywood at any cost. She is acting in the role of Priyamani in her upcoming Hindi film, Rangrezz, a remake of 'Sambo Shiva Sambo'. The film's teaser got much response in the Hindi circuit, which also marks the acting debut of Jacky Bhagnani (son of producer Vashu Bhagnani) as a hero. For Priya Anand, Priyamani's role may not get good mileage in Bollywood, as its duration is very short in the movie. Recently Priya did one such shorter role in Sridevi's 'English Vinglish', but got no use of it. If Priyamani role really works for Priya Anand, then the actress will cement her position in B-town, unlike our other hotties like Asin and Trisha who failed to crack the nut.

New Delhi, Oct 25: It is reliably learnt that the central cabinet will be reconstituted and expanded on Sunday. The government has reportedly informed the Rashtrapti Bhavan authorities about the possible swearing in of the new ministers.

Rajya Sabha member Chiranjeevi was already asked to be available in the capital. Now it is learnt that Kurnool MP Kotla Surya Prakasha Reddy was also asked to make himself available in Delhi.

Several state MPs are aspiring for the cabinet berths as several posts fell vacant because of the departure of the Trinamool Congress ministers.

From the Telangana region, the names of Sarve Satyanarayana and Nandi Yellaiah are doing the rounds. Both belong to the weaker sections and their loyalty towards the party and Sonia Gandhi are beyond doubt. Congress high command which has been facing the complex Telangana problem and unable to solve it, may hope for a respite because of inclusion of either of the MPs. Rajya Sabha member Renuka Choudary is also aspiring for cabinet berth in view of her experience.

From the coastal region, two senior leaders Kavuri Sambasiva Rao and Rayapati Sambasiva Rao are also aspiring for inclusion in the cabinet. Of these Kavuri might get a chance, say sources.

Hyderabad, Oct 16: Is a state minister involved in the sensational murder of Kannada film and popular Telugu TV actress Hemasri?

Yes says TDP senior leader Varla Ramaiah. He told the media at Vijayawada that Hemasri’s husband Surendra Babu and two former Congress corporators had tried to use Hemasri as a bait for a minister and described it to be a heinous act.

Charging that the state government was trying to hush up investigation of the case, Ramaiah has said the home minister Sabita Indra Reddy should resign if she had any moral values. Demanding that the name of the minister who was involved should be disclosed, he said the minister should be dismissed.

Meanwhile, the Bengaluru police are still searching for Suresh, driver of Surendra Babu who has allegedly helped him in the crime. Earlier reports said Satish was arrested. Even Satish’s family members told the police that he had neither come back, nor called them. His phone is also switched off. In the recent Telangana protests, albeit very strong, there was no sign of the leader of the movement, K Chandrasekhara Rao, the president of Telangana Rashtra Samithi. Without his active participation in the protests, there were many skeptical onlookers who couldn't fathom a reason behind his absence. The party insiders however tried to hush the matters by indirectly spreading news that their leader was seriously ill and asked to take rest for the time being.

What is the truth behind his absence? Is KCR really ill, so much so that he has to stay back and take rest? Is the “serious illness” similar to Sonia Gandhi's “undisclosed” illness that is still a mystery to the nation? A few sources on the other hand said that KCR was just fine and has been spending merry time at his farm house in Medak. They said that he couldn't show his face to the people after he lobbied with the Congress to secure a separate Telangana state. He even went as far as proposing to merge his party with the Congress in a quid pro quo move.

The source said that unable to bear the shame of his loss he has been maintaining a low profile ever since. When the people forget his absence from the crowd, he would surge again with another active movement and fight for Telangana, sources said. What exactly is KCR's strategy?

After taking a head on collision with TDP Chief Chandrababu through a new paada yaatra, YSR-Congress working president Sharmila is slightly going out of ideas it seems. Let us see the selling points of both these parties at the moment.

When it comes to Naidu, everyday he is showing something new to people with his unique ways of interacting with them. But Sharmila is simply giving lengthy speeches taking a dig at Kiran and Naidu. Naidu made all new proposals like BC declaration, SC categorization and extension of his old schemes to woo the audience. On the other hand Sharmila is promising that she will implement YSR's schemes if Jagan becomes CM. To the most, all of the YSR launched Congress schemes are running already except some budget changes. So, this statement from Sharmila is not getting attention, say analysts. With too many selling points in hand, for now Naidu is scoring full marks.

This time, sympathy wave might work for Naidu also, as the TDP leader became thin and weak with his Paada Yaatra and that might work wonders for him. But 'Jagan in jail' is a big sympathy generator than all these stuff, say Congress leaders who are ready to migrate into YSR-C.

Political analysts have finally defined that a temporary holiday is given to Telangana Movement. With all political outfits busy with their own plans for 2014 elections, there seems no time for movement.

If Congress fails to win in 2014 elections, they will get a holiday of 5 years without any work. Same is the case with Telugudesam and in their case that will mark the end of Naidu's era also (age factor). If TRS fails to score manageable seats in Telangana, the party will lose sheen forever and no one will believe their T-sentiment. For Jagan's party, the main aim is to make YS Jagan the chief minister of this state and that is the only aim of YSR-Congress.

At this juncture, if parties focused on Telangana, they will get nothing. Only if they could amass votes in 2014 elections, they can sing tunes for the next 5 years. So, giving holiday is not a big thing for them.

Movie : DENIKAINA READY
Rating: 3/5
Cast : Manchu Vishnu, Hansika, Brahmanandam, MS Narayana, Suman, Vennela Kishore and others
Directed by : G Nageswara Reddy
Produced by : Mohanbabu
Banner : 24 Frames Factory
Music : Chakri, Yuvan Shankar Raja
Release Date : 2012-10-24

Mohanbabu's elder son Manchu Vishnu is yet to taste another success after Dhee, which was released four years ago. After trying his hand at mass and action films he is back to comedy with Denikaina Ready. He is expecting nothing short of Dhee with this movie. Does Denikaina Ready have enough fire power to rule the box office? Check the details.

What is it about?

Suleiman (Vishnu) comes to Narasimha Rayudu's (Prabhu) house to unite their families that have been separated as his mother married a Muslim. Suleiman comes in the disguise of Krishna Sastry and operates his mission and how he succeeds is the main plot of this film.

Performances:

Vishnu is apt in his role. He is at ease in comedic scenes. He has improved a lot on the histrionics side. Vishnu also did some special dance moves and excelled in the combination scenes of Brahmanandam. He should better concentrate on these type of movies where he doesn't need to shoulder the film all by himself. Hansika is overweight. She should seriously consider losing few kilos or else she will have to face the ire of audiences.

Brahmanandam is one of the main pillars of this film. He has excelled in this role and entertains to the core. MS Narayana compliments him well and so does the other comedians and support cast. Suman, Seetha and other senior actors added the emotional value to this entertainer. All in all Denikaina Ready is a decent film on the performances front.

On the Technical Front:

Dialogues are hilarious at times. Marudhuri Raja has a knack of cracking a joke all of a sudden and you can't control your laughter to his wise cracks. Story is alright and screenplay is neat. Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan treated this film in Srinu Vytla's format and that has made this movie special. Music has been composed by Chakri and Yuvan Shankar Raja. Songs are fine. Background score is okay. Cinematography is rich and editing is slick. There are no compromises on producer's side. Director Nageswara Reddy made films like 6 Teens, Girlfriend, Seema Sastry etc in the past. He knows the pulse of audiences and is good at comedy. His experience has come in handy for this movie.

Analysis:

Denikaina Ready doesn't have a great story to boast off. But the screenplay is racy and the characters are etched well. Good amount of work is put on developing the script and that is evident in many scenes. Despite few glitches here and there, Denikaina Ready entertains most of the time.

There are not many expectations on this movie and that should help Denikaina Ready to score extra points. This is easily the best work of Manchu Vishnu since Dhee. The only aim of this film is to entertain right from the start to end. The writers and director have succeeded in making it work.

Denikaina Ready is the right movie during this festive season. Families can go and enjoy the comedy ride. Good publicity can boost up the film to grab the attention of public. There are no entertainers currently in the market and hence Denikaina Ready has an edge if one looks for comedy and only comedy. Despite few lows in the screenplay it is an alright comedy entertainer with good amount of action. Word of mouth should help the movie to go to the next level. As of now the openings are just okay.

Verdict: Denikaina Ready is Entertaining.

A 23-year-old fashion model and a small-time actor, who had Miss Chennai crown to her name, was
found murdered at her rented flat here, police said on Tuesday.
Bidushi Dash Barde, who hailed from Odisha but was brought up in Chennai, was found brutally killed in her apartment in suburban Andheri last night. Her software engineer-husband Kedar found the body which bore injury marks, inflicted by a sharp-edged weapon, on her neck and chin, they said.
Robbery has been ruled out as the motive since no valuable was missing from the house, police said, adding there were no signs of a forced entry, indicating the assailant was known to the victim.
According to Bidushi's father, who is an Air Force official, his daughter had also worked in a number of South Indian films.

After returning from work at around 8 pm, Kedar (26) entered the apartment using a duplicate key as repeated knock on the door did not elicit any response. He found Bidushi, a diabetic, lying in a pool of blood outside the bedroom. Kedar had left home at around 7.45 am, police said.
He alerted the neighbours and Bidushi was taken to a nearby private hospital where she was declared dead before admission, said V D Bhoite, Senior Inspector at D.N. Nagar Police Station.
Initially, police suspected Bidushi may have collapsed due to diabetes-related complications and suffered fatal injuries after falling on a glass showcase. However, the post-mortem report showed she was stabbed, following which police registered a murder case.
According to police sources, a neighbour told the investigators that she had seen a man at her house for a while yesterday afternoon.
Kedar and Bidushi had a love marriage three years ago and they moved to Mumbai one and half years ago. Police were collecting CCTV footage from the building.
